"Convenient stay over"
I was not impressed with the evening staff that checked us in, nor the continental breakfast, but the room and bed met our needs.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The manager started throwing accusations the morning we checked out. She even went as far as trying to take it upon herself to search our belongings. Was rude and mean and chased us away.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Adequate lodging for our purposes, just passing through on our way to Sequoia National Park. My son was disappointed the pool was closed.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not Far From Convention Center"
I booked here as it was real close to the convention center at a significant fraction of the cost. The street the hotel is located on has tons of restaurants within half a mile of its location, which is a bonus. The outside of the hotel can give a bad vibe for some, however the rooms are pretty on point, and the staff can be trusted. My friend bravely […] left his iPad out and it was NOT taken. Not bad for those looking for a cheap stay in the area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Clean working class hotel"
No frills but the room was clean and it appeared they put some effort into making the rooms look nice. Arrived later in the evening and the family's children were hanging out in the lobby. They were very nice. Only complaint is that I received an unscheduled wake up call at 6AM (was getting up soon anyway but not requested).Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Having never heard of Visalia before it turned out to be a nice little village on our way to Yosemite. This Econo Lodge is like many other motels, you can get a good nights sleep, a simple but sufficient breakfast, nice personal. Only thing negative was that our room didn't have WiFi reception. But at nightly temperatures between 75 and 85, it was just […] a matter of sitting outside for a minute. Problem solved :) Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice motel at low price near Sequoia"
This is a small motel on a busy road. All doors open to the outside, and the pool is way in the back of the parking lot.Genuine Expedia guest review
Not worth the $60. Was a $39.99 kind of place.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Will do for a night"
This hotel will go for the night. It is clean. But nothing more than that. The a/c was very loud. It keep coming on all night and waking me up.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap, clean, cocmfortable for a one-night busines"
I was there one night only. The mall is just a few blocks away and it is convenient to the CA-98 freeway about four blocks north. Bed was comfortable, TV worked, no noisy neighbors. Older hotel but still fine for one night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Basic but acceptable"
This is your basic no frills room. Walls a bit thin, but they do a good job keeping the place clean. Breakfast was sugar & carbs, so we ate somewhere else.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice place, good price, met our needs."
Room was clean, beds were comfortable. Had a microwave and fridge in room, both were clean and worked. Had a TV, coffee maker and hair dryer also. Was quiet, but I expected that in mid December, most rooms were vacant as it is not the tourist season. Staff was friendly. Some reviews knocked the breakfast, but we enjoyed it, and did not leave hungry. […] They have a Belgian waffle maker with batter dispenser. The waffles are huge and good. There is also danish, an assortment of dry cereal, toast, coffee, tea and juice. It is located on the main street , and we could hear an occasional large truck going by, but not enough to keep us awake. Our room was the second one back,so we were close to the street. If you sleep light ask for a room at the rear. The only negative thing is the AC/heater unit. It tends to be noisy when it comes on. I prepaid with PayPal, but at check in they asked for a credit card number. They said it was for incidentals (like if we broke something or smoked in the non smoking room). At check out they did a walk thru of the room with me and I watched as she removed my card number from the office copy of the reservation. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Value in Visalia"
This is a modest but clean property. The location is reasonably convenient.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fine for a Biz Trip"
While it is not glamorous, it suits the needs for a quick overnight biz trip. The bed was comfortable, there was a good shower, it was clean and quiet. Perfect place if you are on a budget.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very loud AC and squeaky bed, couldn't sleep"
It is what it is. As mentioned above it was very loud AC and squeaky bed, couldn't sleep, would not recommend. Free "hot breakfast" was advertised, but i guess "hot" means coffee only.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It is what it is"
I stay in hundreds of hotels every year. Not a bad location. Quiet even though on a busy street .This one is Ok as you get what you pay for. Internet very unsafe and expect black feet if you walk around barefoot on the carpet.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It is what it is."
This place is what you pay for. Good for an overnight if your going to the sequoias or the lake.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great for the price"
The staff was helpful, check-in was easy, beds were comfortable, shower had good pressure, and breakfast (waffles, white toast, packaged breakfast claws, coffee, juice) is available until 10am, which was great--later than many places. There are lots of chain restaurants around. The pool was closed but we had other plans so that didn't affect us.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We went to Sequoia on a tight budget and this hotel worked out fine for us. We stayed one night. The WIFI was not working but you could use the computer at the front office if needed. This is appx 1 hour from the main entrance to Sequoia National Park. The breakfast consists of waffles and pastries with juice or milk. The people above us were loud and […] you could hear them clearly horse playing. Avoid this by staying on the second floor. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was barely acceptable. Nice people, new bathrooms, but the pool was closed (when it was 100 degrees), internet to the rooms was broken, very minimal TV, no Pay-per-View, pitiful maps, no newspapers, and breakfast was too crowded to get to. The place was noisy with outside sounds of people talking loudly at 1:00 AM and footsteps clunking on the ceiling. […] We lived through it okay. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to courthouse"
This hotel was in the perfect location for my business purpose, and suited me perfectly; I have to return to Visalia in September and I already booked my return stay room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"overnight stay before heading to sequoia"
Ok For The Price. ArriveD Into Town Late Before Heading To Sequoia In The Morning. Just Needed A Place To Sleep That Provided Breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The air conditioner was way to loud and hard to sleep at night. Everything else was OK.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel was good. The breakfast was missing egg and fruits which is usually there in mostly for the hotels delivering continental breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable in the Area"
Taking a spur of the minute trip to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks on a holiday weekend, of course all the campgrounds and hotels near the Parks were booked. This motel was reasonably priced, had Internet (necessary for work), was relatively close to the Parks, and in a good location in Visalia. the room was simple, but well-kept. There was […] a fridge and microwave, but as they were unplugged and had an odd odor, I didn't plug them in. The air-conditioner worked great. The free breakfast wasn't very extensive, but it was free! The downsides were that the internet in the room was spotty, so I had to go to the lobby to do my work. Also, while I didn't inquire directly about them, the hotel did not appear to have any of the amenities listed on Expedia — no restaurant (just a breakfast nook by the lobby), no pool, no cafe (again, unless counting the breakfast area) and a computer that was turned off as the "business center." The motel staff were very helpful and cheerful. The room was clean and comfortable. There was a minor problem with our first room and the motel staff were more than happy to facilitate our move to another room. I would stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Pulled up. Ok condition. Night desk guy was pleasant. But not really helpful. Room was clean. Not very comfortable in the bed department. Pool was out of order and it was 103 degrees out. On check out the lady basically would not let me in the office where we were suppose to get complimentary coffee. Glad Starbucks is across the street. Weird operation. […] Oh well. The furniture is old and dirty. The swimming pool is not working. The breakfast selection is limited. The place is next to a run down mall and couple miles to downtown.Genuine Expedia guest review
It was ok, the room is clean, but I'm disappointed with their poor wifi connection and hair dryer is not working. Sheets are clean. I knew it coz I didn't sneeze. Good for a short stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great value and still pretty nice."
Honestly, I had lower expectations. The property is older, but updated in the last few years. It was a pretty decent room. Bed was comfortable, there was a small but "REAL" fridge and a little microwave. AC/heater was newer and worked well. TV was an older analog CRT style, but worked fine. Room was clean, quiet and good sized (we had two twins). Second […] floor is only stair access, so if you can't do stairs, be sure to ask for first floor. Seems to be run by a very nice Indian family. The provided breakfast is to be missed. OTOH, there's a Starbucks across the street, and an IHOP a few blocks south. Maybe 5 minutes (or so) to convention center. I'd stay there again and probably will. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"You get what you expect from an econolodge"
I was only there for 1 night, all i needed was a clean, quiet room to spend the night and the hotel provided just what I needed. I had to leave well before the breakfast was ready. But overall, there was clean sheets, clean towels, clean bathroom, all you could ask for for $65.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Get what you Pay For"
It was a clean room, nothing wrong with room but if your staying multiple days pay the money get something newer and nicer. just sleeping, and then leaving, go for it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Spend the extra $ and stay somewhere else!!!"
Management was rude, and seem to be angry at me for booking on Expedia. He even tried to add on extra fees, I'm assuming he was mad because we got a half decent deal online... I will NEVER stay here again!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Easy to highways"
It's a quaint place...you can tell they make an effort to keep it clean and tidy. And they've done cosmetic upgrades such as painting...but could use an overhaul as far as bedding, bathroom renovations, etc. But for the price, you can't beat it!!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Older hotel that has been freshened, but still showing its age. The main road location is convenient and still allows for easy exits and entrances to the property. The neighborhood is questionable. Not a walkable area after dark. second floor rooms require alot of steps.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for business visit"
Needs to be updated. No problems, great service from maid. Will stay again next year.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great for us"
We were pleased with our stay. We wanted something that was near the freeway but not right at the freeway. Things were clean and we were able to sleep well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"ok hotel fair price"
everything is ok for the price. The room is clean and bed is comfortable. I'm surprised there's microwave and frig. The only thing we hate the most is the noise of the AC unit at night which made us hard to sleep. I think they should consider changing the AC unit. The complimentary breakfast is fairly simple.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel check-in took WAY TOO LONG. Taking over an hour to check into a small hotel is just ridiculous. Breakfast was fine. Convenient location in town.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room condition was pathetic. The AC wasnt working, the fridge had been out for a while and the hotel staff was not very helpful. They wanted to charge us the hotel deposit by cash instead of using my card, to save on the transaction fee. Also, when the hotel staff took down the credit card number on a piece of paper, I had to ask her to erase it […] or dull it. Really - am I that interested in allowing someone to take down my credit card number. V Poor. Will never come back here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Comfort inn visalia"
The hotel itself was fine, the service was abysmal. Upon arriving it took several minutes to find someone. He then told me he didn't see my reservation and that I should call hotels.com and cancel, which I though was odd. I called the number on my conformation email and an actual person answered an offered to call the hotel to check on the reservation. […] I was in the lobby so I could hear the phone ring and the man at the desk ignored it, when I mentioned the phone was ringing he ignored me. At that point I told the person at hotels.com to just talk to the front desk person on my cell. Then as if by magic the hotel found my reservation. The man at the desk then decided to lecture me on using websites to make reservations. Needless to say I will sleep in my car before I ever stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
