It was a tiny room. However it worked out nicely. Having the Congress Hall amenities was the highlight of the stay. Walking across the street and enjoying the Boiler Room and Brown Room’s music and atmosphere were fabulous. The breakfast vouchers were adequate for 1, not 2. That was Ok though. I was glad I was in the Star Inn at checkout time. I watched people waiting for their valet service to get their cars while I could just walk over to the Star Inn and drive away. It was very convenient when I drove to see the sights and out to dinner. A great stay!

Wonderful stay and would return on my next vacation. The ocean front room was clean and spacious. The restaurant on the second floor was an added treat. The breakfast was inexpensive and plentiful. it was a relaxing stay.

We didn't really know what to expect. But we loved our room (#4) as it had an ensuite bathroom. The house is old so it's showing signs of aging (bathtub slow to drain, cracks in the paint and plaster, chilly in the evenings) but it's very clean and comfortable. Breakfast is in the dining room from 8-10:30. It's slightly uncomfortable joining strangers but that's the experience of a bed & breakfast. If you want complete privacy, stay at a hotel. But if you want the comforts of home while being catered to like a favored house guest then the Delaware Inn is a great choice.

"Tired and beat hotel"

"A Bad Experience"
The non smoking room smelled like smoke and when we were moved, the new room smelled moldy, I asked for an iron and after 30 minutes they said they were still looking. One was never delivered. "Are the police a regular thing here?"
We checked in around 4 PM on the 10th of July. We weren't in our room more than five minutes when the Swat team, fully armed, also with sheilds, masks, helmets and protective clothing started battering the door of the room next to us. The assault rifles bothered us as the walls are thin at best. They dragged a man out in plastic ties, and let the canine […] inside. We called the front desk, wanting to move to another room, their attitude was like"so what, he's gone'. Why would you check in guests so near? Surely they knew; some one alerted the police as to the room number. At a busy beach in the middle of the summer; the likelyhood of finding another room is dim. We stayed, and we were fine. "Don't waste your time and money"
This hotel was very disappointing. The hotel is in need of many repairs in and out of the rooms and it felt like I was in a motel and not a hotel. My room had peeling and dirty wallpaper throughout and there was also rusty items as well. The furniture was chipped and looked very cheesy. The rooms need to be redecorated and fixed up. "Pretty Good"
Me and my friends went to stay for 3 nights just as a girls get away, we chose the hotel because of the cheap price. We really weren't expecting much but the hotel was good. The workers were very friendly and attentive. The room was average but it nice that they left extra pillows available. The bathroom was also average. "More than your money's worth!"
More than our money's worth! Overall, the place was just fine. I chose the motel despite previous negative reviews and found either that they were baseless or that the issues seemed resolved. The pool was great! The location was extremely nice, not beachfront but definitely only a few minutes' drive from both Lewes and Rehoboth. The continental breakfast […] was outstanding, especially for an inexpensive motel. I only had a couple of complaints, aside from the bed being standard motel faire and not horribly comfortable. The wi-fi only worked for a few minutes when we first checked in, and then would not work until after we left. The television did not appear to work, and although we didn't mind that, when we told the front desk about it in the morning they were somewhat short with us about how it was on a switch and that housekeeping had plugged it into the wrong receptacle. I don't like having to figure out what is wrong with something if I am not at home! However, I will definitely say that the place was certainly well taken care of and far superior to most motels across the country, especially given the great rates! "Not for Swimmers"
they advertise pool, but we were told the pool opens after Memorial day! So we went to the beach and swam in the freezing cold water there! The hotel is conveniently located. But needs an upgrade. The room was clean enough, but everything is seedy and out of date especially the bathroom. It was fine until the people on the 3rd floor decided to go outside and get loud and drive off with alot of noise, people and cars slaming doors at about 1:oo AM then they returned at about 3 AM with the same noise and running up the steps, so the sleeping part of our trip was interrupted twice that night . The location and the neighborhood was great. However the hotel itself is extremely dated. The bathroom door was rotten from the bottom, the vanity missing paint, badly chipped, the furniture in the room itself was in need of repair. Reserved no-smoking. Definitely was a smoking room. Clothes that were unpacked the next day, needed to be washed because they were so smokey. I had a great time in rehoboth!.. because I rented a smoking room... it was not a nice room. But for the low cost... was fine. The bathroom was tiny and yucky. "bargain hotel a few minutes from the beach"
We were just looking for a place to check in, sleep and check out, so we took a chance on this low cost hotel. It's an older property, but it was clean and well maintained for its age. We arrived early and the hotel was accomodating and we were able to get into our room. However, that is where it ended! The room smelled of cigarette smoke, even though it was a non-smoking room. The room had the odor of smoke and we had requested a non smoking room. The floor was wet by the balcony door and there was mold/mildew around the window and on the ceiling.The bathroom door did not lock. The stairway smelled of urine.
