We have traveled a lot this year and this is the first place we stayed that had no coffee pot in the room, no hair dryer, and there was one little pack of shampoo and no conditioner. It was okay as far as comfort, but I would probably not stay there again.

Enjoyed my stay. Not a bad hotel room. Good free internet for business class. I was taking a nap around 5 and that is what time the house keeping showed up. Not good.

Room was clean and ready prior to check in time. I was able to request bottom floor and had no problem getting it. Recently renovated hotel with clean and fresh feeling. Perfect location to food and highway. Will stay here again!

While the hotel was clean, the room was cramped. There was no free internet, no refrigerator, and no coffee pot in the room like other hotels that I have stayed in for the same price. They did offer internet for a price.

We reserved two non-smoking rooms with one King bed; one under my name and one under my mothers name. I only received one confirmation number for the reservation and I guaranteed the reservation with my credit card. When we were checking in the desk clerk gave us rooms at the opposite ends of the second floor. When we asked if we could get room together since we reserved them together we were told that we couldn't because we didn't request it when we made our reservation. When we entered our room it smelled like a dirty ashtray. The air conditioner wasn't on so we thought we would turn on the air conditioner and see if the air circulating in the room while we went to dinner would make it smell better when we returned. Upon our return, the room still smelled like an ashtray. So I went down to the office to request another room. I was told at first that I couldn't get another room because it had been too long since I had checked in and they couldn't re-rent the room because all of housekeeping was already gone. I explained to the desk clerk that we would have to get a room at another motel if we get another room. The desk clerk told me that they are probably smell like cigarette smoke because people smoke in them all the time even though they tell them not to. The desk clerk finally agreed to give us another room with two beds in it. The second room still smelled slightly of cigarette smoke, but it was at least tolerable. Other than the smoke smell and the desk clerk's behavior the rest was good. The bed and restroom were both clean. The bed was comfortable to sleep in and the complimentary coffee in the office was good.

We stayed at the Red Roof Inn for spring race weekend at Bristol (NASCAR). The price was right and we were really just looking for a place to sleep. The rooms are all recently remodeled which was nice. Thery're not huge, but just about enough for a bed and a dresser. I don't have any complaints other than it didn't have free wi-fi. It's a T-mobile hot spot and they wanted me to pay. I didn't think there were any hotels left that didn't have Wi-Fi for free. For the most part, it was quiet even though it was a motel where the doors opened to the outside. There were a few rowdies, but not enough to keep me from a good night's sleep. The staff was friendly and called to make sure everything was alright. Check-in and out were quick enough. The Red Roof Inn doens't have a whole lot of perks, but if you're looking for a bed, this is a pretty good deal.
