Fairfield Inn Marriott Tucson I-10 Butterfield Business Park - Tucson

Although the hotel was decent, there must have been train tracks close by since all night long the sound of the horns woke us up. Did not get a very good night sleep there. Breakfast was ok. Nothing out of the ordinary.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful with directions and recommendations. The hotel is very close to I-10 and we found that to be very convenient. The freshly baked afternoon cookies were a nice touch.

So this hotel is great if you are on a road trip and need to get on I-10. When I arrived late night I had been traveling all day and all I wanted to do was take a shower and go to bed. Unfortunately their was no soap, shampoo or conditioner which was very in-convenient. My late arrival booked on hotels.com the night before went flawless. The attendent took care to make sure my car was parked in safest location. Room was fresh and spotless, good bed. Bfast was simple but ready. Only gripe is that they didn't have the paper on a Sunday morning (in the dining room). This is a mirror image of the good Hampton Inns.

Hotel is easy to get to off of I-10, and within close driving distance to restaurants and gas stations. Stayed 2 nights and used as a base to visit downtown Tucson and other sites around the surrounding area. The staff was very helpful in giving options for eating out and how to get to places. Exercise room was small, but clean and I was able to get on a machine without waiting in the morning. Our prefered location in South Tucson. All roads lead to all parts of the south and central city. Great room. heated pool and hot tub located in the afternoon sun. Included a very comprehensive continental breakfast. Staff helpful and friendly. Rate through Hotels.com was very good. Would definately stay here again.
