First night stay, was on the third floor, room was nice but kitchenette was dated. Second night stay was horrible was awake all night partying young people running up and down thr stairs until four am. The room was dirty. There were big holes in both blankets. The refrigerator was dirty and the magnolia in the bathroom was ruined. Also forgot to mention the toilet seat wasn't bolted down. It was leaning to one side. But customer service was very friendly.

The room WASN'T 2 double beds, NOT located on the bottom floor, and the person in the office didn't give proper directions from across town. Someone's else's sweater was sitting in the chair when we opened the door to the room. There was no tissue in the bathroom.

I'd read the reviews about this hotel before deciding to book it. In the end, I had to "level" with myself...I had a limited amount of money..needed a room for a couple of nights because my air unit at home went out...so..I "bit the bullet" and booked a room at the Sycamore View location...it wasn't the downtown Peabody....but the room was neat...i […] even cooked my meal there...the manager and staff were GREAT!!! they literally "catered" to me...I was impressed with the customer service...didn't expect it...after reading the reviews :) If you have limited money...want a very inexpensive neat room...great customer service....try it out!! My stay therewas terrible.The first room I was end the door wouldn't seal, so I could hear all of the traffic from the interstate. After trying to put towels around the edges of the door to try to keep the excessve noise out. Finally, after it being unbearable, I requested another room. So I ended up going from a queen bed to a 2 twin bed room, where […] I had to move the beds togerther. Though both were non-smoking, they were smoky, th carpets were filthy, the refrigerator had food left in it, and trash under the beds. I had no choice but to stay because I couldn't get my money back from hotels.com to book another hotel. I will not be staying in this paticular Extended Stay on Sycamore ever again. My stay was okay. However, when I booked the room, I was informed that the room would be on 1st floor. Instead it was on third floor. If I knew the room was on third floor, I would have chosen another hotel. The receptionist was rude, when questioned about the situation.

Awful experience, I saw pics online and this hotel was nothing like the pictures posted on expedia's website, I told this to the hotel manager and she said that was expedia's fault For posting pics that belong to another hotel, then expedia's said they just post the pics they showed on their website, well I ask to at least give another room, they keep […] saying all was filled including Doble beds. The room was tiny, rugs with heavy stains, the room was a non smoking room and it had a strong smell of tabacoo, my clothes smells pure cigarret after I left the place, there is no hair dryer at this place, they said people stole them in the past,the worse no elevator and you need to take the stairs if you have the luck I had 3rd floor, well you will be sweating going up and down. The hotel was in a decent location. The staff very friendly. However, I'm glad it was only for one night. Didn't mind the noise from the highway, but nothing really worked in the room and things were missing. For the price I couldn't really complain to rest before hitting the road again.

My overall impression of this facility was good at first, but then I noticed a few things. Only one burner of a 2 burner stovetop was working and it was the small burner. The bathroom faucet was missing a piece and every time you turned on the water it would soak you. The toliet seat was only held on by one bolt. hotel is very aged and is in very poor condition, broken and obviously poorly repaired doors, stained paint and countertops, caulking around tub coming off, peices of the laminate flooring was missing, discolored mirror and just very dirty feeling room, and you hear everything going on around you, not soundproof at all (no sleeping in)

This is an awful place to stay. The walls need painting. Televisions need upgrading. Property manager on duty was not accessible at 8pm. I would have understood if it was 12 midnight and not being available. The guests next door to me fought and argued all night. I barely got any rest.

The first non-smoking room I was given had a horrible stench of cigarette smoke. I requested a change of room which they obliged but it wasn't much better. They stated that they tell guests they can't smoke in non-smoking rooms but have no control over them doing so.
