"Alternative to depending on the restaurant menus."
We stayed in the studio with the fireplace. Apt complex has full sized, small, kitchen. (Full size fridge w/freezer, stove/oven, overhead microwave, coffee pot, toaster, cookware, dishwasher, towls, pot holder, dish soap, 3 storage bowls, dishes for 2 in studio, peeler, measuring cups, can opener, etc.) Called office, needed cookie sheet and 2 more […] sets of dishes for our daughters visiting from nau one night, office delivered them very quickly for us. Clean room, comfortable king size bed, decent pillows, bedstands both have plugin areas for electronics and lamps (lil to bright, husband loosened one of the 2 bulbs for night reading.) One complimentary log a day for fireplace, burns about 3 hours. Would of perferred tv and couch set up differently. Nice size tv, but getting a little older, tv set up pretty far from bed. Complementry breakfast. With all the construction going on right now, breakfast is set up for on the go with lil bags set up to fill to take back to your apt. Breakfast sandwiches, milk, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, yogurt, muffins, pb& j, different cerials, fruits, and fruit cocktail, etc. No elevators. Area is quiet where apartments are located, no traffic or railroad. Golf club near by. Nau, downtown, or mall are about 10-15min drive. Office and employees very helpful and quick. Plenty of parking. "Don't miss this terrifically renovated hotel!"
We stayed at the Flagstaff, AZ location. We are necessarily very budget conscious and this was more than we usually pay by about 25%. It did have our requested amenities (tub/shower combo, in-room microwave & fridge, and jacuzzi). ALL rooms are newly renovated & are suite sized. We travel 1-2X/mo. and I have never written a review before due to my […] high expectations. This place is outstanding! Everything in our room appeared to be brand new from the paint to flooring to linens to furniture to decorator items to flooring and bathroom fixtures. We had a king bed & fireplace with log provided. Full kitchen - full-size fridge with icemaker, microwave, stove/oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster - stocked with cooking utensils; large TV with HBO; plenty of storage, towels, extra linens, safe. Mattress, furniture, linens, shower curtain were all a grade you would be happy to have in your home. Cons- - Location is off the beaten path a bit; vanity with its bright lights next to the bed needs a pocket door; hard to get any supply of ice from freezer icemaker; seating was a small wicker "sofa" that was uncomfortable and wouldn't seat 2. Our BIG disappointment was that between when we checked into our room and went to use the jacuzzi, it broke down and was not repaired during our stay. Overall, best place we have stayed for the $. We would stay here again and recommend to friends. Would have appreciated some small compensation for the jacuzzi being inoperable. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
paid over $200/ night for a place i would not have stayed at if i would have know what the place was like. an old apartment complex being converted to a hotel. same stained carpet from the apartment days. breakfast was a white paper bag with otis spunkmire plastic wrapped muffins. i would have rather had less of a rate and bought a real breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"An excellent accommodation!"
An excellent accommodation and good value at the price we paid. The rooms are comfortable and well furnished. It is quite new, with construction still going on, which made checking in awkward. It has a very convenient location, close enough to the interstate, but not too close. We stayed overnight on a tour of Arizona's scenic wonders and discovered […] a culinary delight in the "Fat Olives" restaurant! Highly recommended. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice quiet stay"
This hotel has recently been remodelled and it is perfect. From the amenities in the room, appliances and comfortable bed it is a grea tplace to stay. The pool area was heated and the pool area was clean. The grab and go for breakfast was very convenient and the employees working in the room were very hospitable. Another bonus is the free laundry which […] is conveniently located next to the pool. One suggestion is to stock the fridge, restaurants are a couple mile drive but the location of the hotel is great since it is so quiet. I would stay there again. A great place to stay in Flagstaff. I can't wait to see it when the construction is done. Loved the free laundry.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Felt like home"
We were traveling with our granddaughter, and had been to the Grand Canyon, and Phoenix where we were hot, dusty, and "camping" in less modern hotels. It felt like we just arrived home. They were into major remodeling so there was less parking available. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did our laundry without charge, and had a fully equiped […] kitchen available, so we were able to make simple meals, other than the great breakfast that was provided. The manager provided us with a map showing local attractions, and local restaurants, which was a plus. I would definitely plan to stay there again, if we were in Flagstaff. We were on the East side, top floor, with nothing but open fields, and stars for our view. Very pleasant location. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"A great 4 day trip"
It was an amazing hotel. With 2 adults and 3 children staying in one room we had plenty of room. Even with the main office under construction we would give this hotel a 5 out of 5. Great price and great experience. We will be backGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Sonesta ES Flagstaff"
Although renovations and remodeling were underway, so some services were suspended, our room was great and the staff was very helpful and accommodating.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I had a really good time staying here. The room was in excellent condition with all the necessary items available. The stay was extremely comfortable. The pool and the hot tub with a nice breakfast in the morning was a plus. I would definitely stay again if I come back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel was undergoing some renovations, but the room I was in was freshly redone and amazing.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"So very satisfied!"
My family really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are very clean and modern. the kitchen and living room area are a welcomed change to the cramped areas of other places we stayed in on our trip. The lobby was under construction but there rest of the area was well kept. there is a little park for pets and hiking trails just behind. The rooms we quiet […] and the bed was amazing. the best nights sleep I had on our week vacation. We were very close to restaurants and within an hour of the Grand Canyon. "beautifully painted room"
Even though restoration to the hotel was ongoing, the evenings were quiet and the staff was so wonderful. The rooms were bright and cheery and we loved that they were painted something besides white and/or beige.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wait until after renovation complete"
Workers banging at 7AM. The advertised hot breakfast was prepackaged egg mc muffins you have to microwave in your room. I think it will be nice when done, but until then, stay elsewhere.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This facility is mid-renovation, but our room had already been updated and was just darling. Very cheerful and laid out efficiently. We only stayed one night, but wished we could have stayed much longer. We had had a rough day of travel (car issues) so quick check-in and a welcoming room were much appreciated. The provided list of restaurants was very […] helpful. A visit to the hot tub under a clear, cool night sky was pretty wonderful, too. The bed was comfy with great pillows. Extra blankets were available in the closet, but we didn't need them. This place is really set up for longer-term visitors with a well-stocked kitchen (full size fridge, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, pots/pans, utensils and dish/glassware). The bathroom is small (by today's standards) with an old-fashioned tub/shower usually only seen in homes, but all the hardware is Kohler. The sink/dressing area has good lighting and plenty of drawer storage room. Laundry facilities are available but we arrived too late to use them (ironic, because it was one of the reasons I decided to book here...) Breakfast offerings were grab-n-go style, but plenty of choices. Would definitely stay here long-term if I had the opportunity. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Sonesta Suites in Flagstaf, Az is a great place to"
The renovated room was very nice. Looks like a former Residence Inn. The lobby was closed for renovations but the hotel continued to provide free breakfast items from a designated room. Check-in is in a temporary trailer opposite the lobby during renovations. Hotel staff was very friendly. Will probably stay there again if visiting Flagstaff. "Good room but no hot breakfast and noisy stay"
Room was newly renovated. Good size and comfortable. Were not told of renovation in lobby and breakfast area. Had picked this hotel since hot breakfast was included in rate. Nowhere on their site nor hotels. Com was this renovation mentioned. Also construction around was annoying with work going on over weekend even though they said it will be during […] week. If the renovation had been complete, the room would have been worth the price. As it was, there was a temp. loby and a guest room was used for a scaled down breakfast. We were the second guest after reconstruction of our room. It was very nice except for a defect like hot and cold reversed for the tube. Excessive noise came from upstairs -- thumping […] on floor. "A Newly Remodeled Sonesta ES!"
I stayed at Sonesta 8-20 to 8-23-2014. Sonesta is my go-to hotel while staying in Flagstaff. They have recently done a total tear down, rebuild of their of their suites and they look great. Even before they remodeled, it was still a pleasant place to stay for the price. The only thing I didn't like about the remodel is that before you had a room with […] a two-seat sofa bed that could sleep two. The renovation took that away and replaced it with a single-seat sofa, one person bed. Because I usually am dropping off my daughter at college, she is only with us for one night. As a result of this remodel, one of the family members had to sleep on the floor. Now, it could be that some rooms have a larger sofa, I don't know. Or, you would have to upgrade to the two-bedroom suite. Other than all of that, the queen size sofa bed was extremely comfortable. They are pet friendly. I highly recommend Sonesta. "Hotel in Flagstaff"
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and well located. Easy to get to where we wanted to go.Genuine Expedia guest review
Excellent! We were able to bring our dog which was a definite plus and the charge was minimal, Room very clean and staff very accommodating. Breakfast a plus and tasty! We had two rooms. Grandma and grandson stayed in one, he slept on sleeper sofa and his bed was always out so there was no comfortable place to sit.Genuine Expedia guest review
First time Flagstaff and could not ask for a better stay. The room and accommodations were very comfortable. Service was exceptional, will be staying here again on our next visit.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but the pullout bed is not comfortable at all. You can feel every spring and wire in it. We'd love to come back especially if they make an upgrade on the pullout bed mattresses.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Have stayed here before and knew they were in the middle of a remodel. They offered one of the remodeled rooms as the remodeling is still going on. None of this impacted our stay. The bed was super comfy as were the pillows and comforter...down I think. Love the makeover! I called down to ask for a cookie sheet as there had been one in our room last […] time and we made cookies several times. The front desk gal said they didn't have cookie sheets and never had. (was she calling me a liar? ) Anyway she finally spoke to someone higher up the chain of command and someone brought me a pan from the kitchen to use. I had purchased a frozen pizza at the Target assuming there was a cookie sheet in this room too. We stayed here during our son's orientation at NAU. We will definitely be back. "Great Room & Location"
We were very happy with our stay at Sonesta ES Suites in Flagstaff, AZ. The room was immaculate, we were able to check in early, the breakfast was very tasty and the staff was friendly and informative about local restaurants. Sadly, when I checked, this is the only Sonesta in AZ. We would definitely stay there again!Genuine Expedia guest review

"Grand Canyon friendly!"
Newly renovated suites, contemporary furnishings very reasonably price... Breakfast/social hour WONDERFUL!!Genuine Expedia guest review
So many good things, only a few not-so-good. Great location, great breakfasts, great 'happy hour' drinks and food, nice room. Only improvements would be to replace uncomfortable couch and worn upholstered chair - they were in the process of remodeling other units. Our last few days there they were invaded by families with unruly children that were obnoxious […] - knocking on our door during our dinner and again after we went to bed! They ran around and made a mess at breakfast/happy hour, were loud and rude - and the parents just ignored it all. In fairness, there were families there with children that were fine, but the few really changed the whole feel of the place for the worse. The front desk staff was quite aloof the two times we interacted with them. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice room for family of four; breakfast needs help"
We chose a two bedroom suite for our family of four. Both our kids are grown and (almost) out of the house and it still had adequate privacy/space. The bedrooms are separate rooms, with doors, from the kitchen / living area, unlike some hotel "suites". Each bedroom had it's own sink, bathroom. There is a large kitchen area which would be great, esp […] for longer stays. They were upgrading units across the way, but this appeared to be an older unit. There was little/no noise during the day even though they were doing construction. The hotel is located on the east end of town near the country club, away from the very busy downtown area roads. It is close to the highway which was good for our plans. The only real con was that the breakfast selection was fair, but the food quality/presentation was surprisingly poor, at least on the only day we tried it. There are a couple of decent breakfast places in town and Flagstaff is full of places to eat. If you must have great coffee, and don't mind the ever busy eclectic atmosphere, definitely go see Macy's on south Beaver Street. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"more than expected"
Pleasantly surprised at the size and arrangement of the room. It was much more space and amenities than I expected. I was visiting family for a baptism. There was 5 of us, 3 being Teenage girls. Having two separate bathrooms for showering and getting everyone ready was truly awesome. We will stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"nice place in the middle of updating"
For a place that is getting spruced up accomodations were still nice. solid breakfast. been coming here for two years. only complaint is they are slowlycutting service and raising prices. used to have evening food and social hour seven days and it was awesome. now down to three days and limited. breakfast hours are even shorter. with nicer digs expect […] even higher prices and more nickel and diming. but having a kitchenette is still awesome i must say. fingers crossed they will stay affordable. "Would stay here again"
We stayed in a newly remodeled room. Everything was pristine and brand new. Only thing that could have used improvement was that the comforter for the sofa bed clearly needed washing. It was hot so we didn't use it and I'm sure they would have brought me another one if I'd have asked so not a huge problem. Great place to stay. Spacious for our party […] of five and clean. Breakfast was good with waffle makers and lots of other choices. Liked that it was in a quieter area but still close to food and conveniences. We would stay here again. It was nice. I would particularly recommend for a family with a pet because it was very pet friendly on the grounds. There were a couple of things that could have been better. While the queen bed was very comfortable, the hide-away bed in the couch was not very confortable at all. Also, there was not a DVD in the room, but were able to get one from […] the front desk and hook it up. We had trouble figuring it out and they sent someone immediately to assist. Other pluses were nice outdoor eating areas with grills, and a very nice complimentary breakfast. I would stay again for skiing or a weekend away in the mountains. "Great place to stop over"
We enjoyed the big room with fireplace. It was a bit of a lug up stairs with the suitcases, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The staff were friendly. It looks a little dated, but they had construction going on so it looks like that may change. Overall, it was perfect for an overnight on the road. With two dogs in tow we couldn't have felt more at home- wonderful front desk staff, breakfast and afternoon "snack" which was pretty real food.
