The water ferry took us to right to the hotel from Manhattan. Our room was in the newly renovated West Wing on the 7th floor. The room looked like we where the first to stay in it. We opened the blinds and our view overlooked the entire Manhattan skyline. This was amazing! Across from the hotel are two great restaurants and a food court for an inexpensive breakfast. We walked along the river and felt very safe. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. They provided all the information needed to tour New York City. The bus service was located a half block from the hotel and took only 10 minutes Port Authority bus terminal. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Oustanding Service by hotel management staff, cleaning crew, etc. This hotel looks like new and was spotless. The staff was very friendly and took the time to answer my questions related to commute to and from NY. One great plus about this hotel is that it is located 2 blocks from the light rail system. Take the Hoboken train for 1.75 and then the PATH train (subway) to NY for 2.25 if I recall correctly. About 4 dollars to get to NY in about 15 minutes. Also, the Ferry stops outside of the Sheraton. For 7 bucks, you can make it to Midtown in less than 10 minutes. Overall, an amazing experience. Kudos to the Sheraton staff.

I was at the Sheraton Lincoln Harbor Hotel for a conference, and I enjoyed my stay very much. The meals were excellent, and my room was immaculate. (I stayed in the new wing of the hotel, and I suggest you do as well). The bar is a fun hang out in the evenings, and the restaurant is well-priced with very good quality food. Across the street, there are bars, restaurants, even karaoke and billiards. And for about $2.50 you can catch a bus into Manhattan. I had a great visit and recommend this hotel!

Considering this is off Manhattan. Its really bang for your buck. The location is ideal with ferry servies across the street. Views are great. Though we were not given the west views. Shoddy service due to less attendants on service. The hotel was packed and busy. There were signs of overuse with wear and tear visible. Sad becoz Sheraton has a reputable name. Liked the suites... large with microwaves and fridge in room at no extra expense. Great for family travel( had a toddler in tow)

This hotel exceeded our expectations. Stayed in more expensive hotels in the city, but this gives you more value for the money. You have the view over Manhatten and can sleep at night. The staff is outstanding. Large rooms with some outdated furnitures but everything is clean and functional. Free internet.

The hotel is doing a multi-million dollar renovation in 2010, so we probably should have waited. Our room needed a lot of improvements. The toilet kept running and actually stopped working for a day. Both phones in the room did not work when we arrived and housekeeping did not bother to plug the lamps back in and move the furniture back against the walls after they vacuumed. It was almost impossible to turn the deadbolt on the room's door unless you tried to lift the door and push real hard. The thermostat was impossible to figure out. The tube TVs do not swivel. The room is listed as a suite, but it seems like it's just a regular size room with a partial wall built in the middle. The carpet and walls have stains on it. The hotel has two buildings and the Club Level is only in one of them, although the buildings are connected on the ground floor. The Club Lounge is very small. The hotel has a nice bar and popular restaurant. The hotel staff was professionl and responsive to our needs. There is no shuttle to the airports. The hotel is directly across Manhattan along the water and the ferry is literally in front of the hotel. It is also just down the street from the Lincoln Tunnel and the GW Bridge is easily accessible also. Just a few blocks from Hoboken. Great views of NYC and great restaurants within walking distance.

Getting to NYC is very easy. Take the bus. The hotel claims they're undergoing renovations. The wallpaper was a little old and carpets a little dirty but nothing too severe. Reserved a king sized bed but got a room with 2 full sized beds. The people at the front desk fix this without an issue. Overall a good stay. Hopefully they do renovate and still have fair rates.

The hotel was great for location. The ferry to NYC was just outside the hotel. However, two major complaints include a very hot and stuffy hallway as well as a strange room configuration. The bathroom door was at the foot of the beds, and they had a door stop that prevented the door from swinging open more than 90 degrees, which also prevented anyone from passing back and forth from one end of the room to the other unless the door was completely shut. What a hassle when you're trying to pack up your belongings that are in the bathroom! Open ... close ... open ... close. Ugh

There is a shuttle to the NY Waterway ferry which made it very convenient to get in and out of Manhattan without the hassle of driving. The only issue we had was one of the beds linens were not clean. I am sure had we called, the front desk would have remedied it but after being in the city all day and night, we just put the other linens that were in the closet on the bed ourselves.

I had an event to go to and would have to make different plans to get ready if I didn't have a room. The front desk attendant told me by phone that I would have to take my risks and just show up. The only answer I wanted was yes or no, so that I could make different plans. This should be an easy task for the front desk.
