"What a great place!"
We had such a wonderful experience at this unique hotel. The bed was comfy, the staff was helpful, room service was pretty good. All in all this was a great trip mostly because of the Edgewater and its great staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Wonderful place to stay"
I loved the water view and the fireplace was on when I entered the room. It was a great evening. The only thing I should have mentioned is the spiderwebs from the headboard to the wall had me hunting for spiders for a little while. Everything else was delightful.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Hotel was very clean and cozy. The staff was VERY accommodating. Yes the Hotel costs a bit more but it was worth every bit. I'll be staying here from now on when traveling to Seattle.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Pier 67 in downtown Seattle!"
The Edgewater was built for the World's Fair and enjoys a waterfront location as it is actually built on Pier 67. Cozy lodge style rooms with fireplace and either city or water views couldn't be more welcoming. Food at the restaurant is inventive and reasonable for city prices and includes fireplace's and fabulous water views. No airport shuttle, however, […] the hotel has a town car connection that is priced better than a taxi, and half as much as a mini bus shuttle. Plenty to see nearby on level ground, or hike up a hill for more. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trains. Planes and automobiles."
If sleep is not important to you this is a nice place to stay. Would have never imagined trains running all night long. Living hell.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Missing my bath tub"
The hotel is ok ? Except for one or two things. The first I was sure that I paid extra for a tub in room that I didn't get & the second is the heating is on by the fire place. To me when I want the room to warn it may not be the time for the fire place.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel but not worth the premiere price"
We decided to come to the Edgewater for a romantic weekend. Overall, we were disappointed. Our room was small, and we expected the furnishings to be more premium. The rooms were nice, but other hotels in the area provide a better atmosphere for a cheaper price. I would highly recommend this hotel if the price per night was $150 or less. The hotel would […] be perfect for a convention or business trip. Be aware that valet parking is $39.00 per night. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
it was a peaceful stay. on the waterfront. the staff, particulary one valet staff was rude and condesending. it was slightly overpriced. has we felt more welcomed, it would have been a nicer stayGenuine Expedia guest review
"A Real Gem"
It is delightfully rustic in a very upscale manner. The room was perfect: wonderful mattress, fireplace for warmth and ambience, and a bathroom to die for. The staff can't do enough for you also. I would definitely stay here again, and the short walk to the ferry was perfect.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel on pier!"
Waterfront view was amazing, staff was more than happy to help with anything. Walking distance to all of downtown and waterfront district!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful view, excellent hotel"
Loved every minute, 1st place to stay on my returnGenuine Expedia guest review
"A wonderful view of the water!"
A gorgeous room with a fireplace and view that was the best in Seattle!Genuine Expedia guest review
"a gem in the city"
So close to everything, yet secluded enough. $5-$10 cab ride to anywhere in the city. Being on the sound kept you feeling like you were tucked away. My new favorite in Seattle.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Good location shuttle service verry nice place to stayGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great find! Will return"
The perfect Seattle experience. The bar restaurant is right on the water so the views are stunning. The hotel is very warm and welcoming. I will definitely return.Genuine Expedia guest review
"A bit spendy for what you get"
It was very convenient to the waterfront attractions. The lounge and reception area were beautiful, with stunning views. The room was nicely decorated, and we liked the gas fireplace. It seemed hard to keep the temperature regulated. It was either too warm in the room or very cold. Our view was of the parking lot construction zone, and the trains were […] frequent and loud. $50/night for parking seemed exorbitant, too, after what we had already paid for the room. At $30+ for entrees, we didn't even try the restaurant. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful, but dirty"
We were so excited to stay over and enjoy our Staycation. Overall it was a great stay and the service at the front desk, bar, and restaurant were superb. We arrived and were charged $40 upgrade to get the tub - which we really wanted. We got to our room and started unpacking some items and noticed that there were leftover beverages, and food in our […] minibar from the last guest. Then as we were packing up the next day, we found a brush under the bed that wasn't ours. Clearly some housekeeping issues here, and lead me to believe that the room that we were in, may not be as clean as we though it was. Gave me the heebie-jeebies. The sprinklers on the ceiling were mismatched - one had the casing around it and the other one was "still in process" like it hadn't been finished. Overall great staff, just some cleanliness issues and I'm bummed we paid $40 extra for a dirty room. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
This hotel was awesome..Right within walking distance of everything..I got the water view suite and it was wonderful wouldn't have it any other way..Staff were very friendly..Fireplace gave the room a comfy feel..I loved the hotel ill definitely be backGenuine Expedia guest review
"What a view... even from the city side."
Not a perfect room, but comfortable and pleasing. We enjoyed the fireplace and the view was amazing (the Space Needle). Only problem was the obnoxious wedding party down the hall from us- they were extremely loud and inconsiderate with their drunken coming and goings until 2am. We probably should have just asked to be moved, so I can't complain too […] much. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Right on the water"
The room was great, great layout, windows opened all the way so you can feed the seagulls right from the window. My 3 y/o had a blast feeding them, just that would make me stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Nice room, very nice place, I liked it. Nice town, good locationGenuine Expedia guest review
"Seattle's only waterfront hotel (so I am told)"
Easy to find (used GPS but was somewhat familiar with Seattle's waterfront district; valet parking was excellent; far more staff on hand than the required minimum; pleasant, courteous and efficient staff; easy check-in; knowledgeable staff; beautiful room--we chose the room that was suggested by desk attendant out of several available; free shuttle […] to Century Link Field for NFC playoff game; smooth check out; all additional expenses fully and succinctly explained up front; staff appeared happy to be doing their jobs; never had to wait for even a moment to get staff attention; room seemed basically brand new; easy to operate gas-log fireplace; cool shower design; comfy bed; super-clean room; very fresh/new-appearing linen...we liked it, as you may surmise... Nothing to complain about, everything was wonderful, the room, hotel, staff, view, location etc, fabulous hotel, highly recommended!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Not The Room I Expected"
Maybe I am pickier than others....but when I request a waterfront room I expect to open my drapes and see the water. When I opened my drapes I was looking at a warehouse. The room was one of the most eastern rooms that is looking at the warehouse next door. To see water you could hang your head out the window and look to the west to see the views. I […] own a lot of vacation rental homes on the beach in Seaside Oregon so I know the hospitality business pretty well and we would never tell a customer that this would be a waterfront room/house. The room also has double beds instead of full or queens. A husband and wife sleeping side by side in a double is pretty small. They are very small beds for 4 people....2 adults and 2 skinny teenagers. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Beatles room absolutely worth it!"
We booked a great deal with Expedia on a waterfront room and airfare. When we arrived we we're offered the Beatles room for a few bucks more... we jumped on it! WOW! You've got to do it. We pressed a button and lit the fireplace, waved to sail boats a few feet from our window and took an overdue long hot bath in the huge separate tub. The on site restaurant […] is superb. Banana pancakes for her and the Smoked Salmon for him. Steaks for dinner and you have to try the cheesecake! Bomb! Staff was great, concierge was terrific. Zero complaints! Staff was outstanding, room was very clean. Could use a little touch up paint in a few area's but overall excellent hotel. Room had balcony over the water and a great fire place to keep warm late night. I'd stay again.Genuine Expedia guest review

Close to all attractions, free shuttle to downtown area but close enough to walk. Lovely restaurant with excellent staff and service.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Edgewater Inn, Seattle"
The Edgewater is a unique experience. I mean, seriously, how many other major cities offer a hotel where you can fish from your hotel room window or lanai? The hotel has been around for over five decades, but is well maintained. Service was a bit disappointing this stay, with Room Service forgetting about the breakfast we ordered the night before and […] there being only one clerk at the desk during check out rush. Still, my wife and I will go back. It is one of our favorite places to stay for our anniversary or other events. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Waterside rooms have a great view."
Booked only one night -- unfortunately on the cityside & not facing the water simply because my friends & I didnt expect to be in our room much. That being said, location is good; right down from the Seattle ferry, close to Belltown. The gal at the front desk was very nice & friendly (her name escapes me). The commas area is situated right on the water, […] which is nice. The room was nice, the bathroom was really nice, one of the nicer hotel bathrooms I've encountered. Overall, a very nice stay. Only thing I might add is that our room (two beds, cityside) was a bit cramped. The space around the beds was very limited compared to other similar hotels. Still, a very pleasant stay & great bathroom :D Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Blood stain on sheets but I was credited for room"
Front Desk was very helpful in solving the problem of blood stain on the clean sheets and the House keeper was WONDERFUL in her quick trip to the room to fix the problem. Loved the hotel but a little disappointed sheets had that stain.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location, next to the ferries"
Very nice place. I don't recommend the tofu steaks in the dining room however. They "didn't sit well" to put it mildly. Loved the fireplace in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Best hotel experience ever!"
The other reviews persuaded me to stay at The Edgewater and I consider myself lucky to have stayed there. The staff has the professionalism of a Four Season but not the hubris often found with the Four Season. No need to call ahead for the valet to get your car they always pulled it up within minutes without a call. The room was nice, clean, fresh and […] affordable. I've stayed at hundreds of hotels and would put The Edgewater in the top 3 or 4 of all of them. Thankfully I found a place that simply "gets it" by making everything pleasant and enjoyable. "check it off the list"
it's a little bit pricey ....the location is great .....we enjoyed it overall , but probably wouldn't do it again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, homey hotel"
The experience was great with two exceptions. Our room had an interconnecting door to the next room which let through a lot of noise, we could even hear normal conversations in the next room. The second issue was the heating system which could not be turned off, the fan was noisy and the room became way too hot at night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Beautiful Water View"
The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival to our room and seeing the note and earplugs on the bedside table, I realized that we would be subject to noise from the trains as we had a "city view" room; I immediately returned to the front desk and asked to change to a water view room. It was well worth the cost to upgrade and would […] highly recommend anyone staying here opt for the waterfront rooms. In the waterfront rooms you can open your window and literally lean out over the water. The view was amazing! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

have a wonderful stay, the lobby is so warm and welcoming. Very nice staff. "Can't wait to go back!"
We stayed at the Edgewater after MNF. Go Hawks! Our room was great with an amazing view of the Sound. We suggest having appetizers and drinks at SixSeven. Food and cocktails were delicious. It's been less than a week since we've stayed there and we are already looking for a reason to go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Fantastic location, cozy rooms with fire places!"
You can't find a better location, view or cozier room then the Edgewater. With fireplaces in all the rooms and either a city or ocean view, you can't beat this hotel. The restaurant is super modern, with 180 degree water views. We saw sea lions while we we're eating lunch! Great happy hour deals and a cute shop to buy the toothpaste that you always […] forget! "Seattle's Hidden Gem"
Edgewater actually sits OVER the water and is one of Seattle's most unique, charming hotels. It is very clean, courteous and professionally managed but the real star can't be anything but the beautiful location. Our room was on the third floor, water side with a sweeping view of the Sound and downtown. We sat on the porch getting sun, yes sun! while […] sipping our coffee and watching ferries go by. The rustic elements incorporated into the building design make this hotel warm and inviting. The staff could not have been more helpful. If you like a sterile, impersonal automaton hotel--don't stay here. We walked to the Seahawks game and had a blast beating the Saints (sorry y'all) and then in the morning walked the dog down to the sculpture garden and park. We go back to the Edgewater every year. "Great hotel and location"
We decided to upgrade to a water view room when we arrived and we were so glad we did. Everything was perfect. We had a fireplace, claw foot tub adjoining the room by a sliding door. The window opened over the water so we could take pictures of the city and the mountains. Just beautiful.Genuine Expedia guest review
