We truly enjoyed our stay. Staff was excellent, room was outstanding but the bed was probably the best I have ever stayed in a hotel. Don't forget your swim suit for the indoor pool and workout clothes for the 24/7 gym. Really a great place and anytime we're in Detroit, we will be staying here.

Overall everything was nice. Nothing stood out as being exceptional, but everything was very clean. For just one night, the price and location were exactly what we needed for our short stay. The pool was nice too, and my kids enjoyed it very much.

I read dozens of reviews. My family of three adults and one 11 year old son were all quite comfortable. I've stayed at scores of hotels for business in various parts of the country for a couple decades now in addition to stays for personal events. The staff is friendly and down to earth. The breakfast foods and attendant were very well received by my […] family and other guests appeared and expressed that they were well pleased. My son and I enjoyed the indoor pool and jacuzzi. My sister and I were able to have light workouts in the fitness room. Our mom was able to rest comfortably and sleep well with no aches and pains. In addition to the continental breakfast, this hotel had a wonderful meal during the weekday which was a benefit for me as I did not have to spend additional money by going out to eat. Room was very clean and staff was polite at all times. Neighborhood is a little run down looking but overall I had a good experience at this hotel. Thanks!

We loved staying at the Baymont. Our room was quiet and comfortable. They even served free dinner on the nights we stayed (Monday and Tuesday). The staff was gracious and friendly. I will stay there again!

Was not that impressed with the room. There was trash under the furniture, stains on the linens, the door lock broke upon entry on first day. The A/C had some sort of mold or issue with humidity and my fiancee developed a head cold and allergies the first day. The food was ok, but will not be going back to this hotel again.

I you're not looking to go out late and party than this is the place to stay...if you're going to party stay at a place closer to the bars...overall services and cleanliness is excellent and staff was very nice and neighborhood is very very safe

We stayed in this hotel with family for 4 nights and were pretty satisfied with everything. Driving to Detroit is about 25 minutes and to Dearborn about 30 minutes. There are several other hotels around and the area seems to be pretty save. There is also a superwalmart nearby.

Can't say enough about the kindness and responsiveness with all employees. Breakfast & dinner are sufficient, don't look for gourmet! Also, breakfast pulled at 9 am, okay for the business traveler but not good on families, such as was my case. This is a great hotel for the price. The staff is very friendly. There are many restaurant choices and a few within walking distance. On week nights, you may want to stay in and enjoy the complimentary meal in the lobby. This was my second time to stay here and will definitely book again.

Check in was a breeze. The sitting room and entry way are nicely decorated and comfortable. The room seemed clean and comfortable initially. Once we were settled, we realized there were a few issues but it was the end of a long day so we didn't mention anything to the staff. We just made the best of things with our two young children. The sink was broken […] around the drain and small pieces were missing but it wasn't leaking. There was some hair in the bathtub. The carpet felt a little sticky, like the cleaning solution was left behind. Lastly, while tucking our kids in, I noticed small spots of what appeared to be dried blood on the duvet cover. I assumed that since it was a cover it would be washed each visit, along with the sheets. I took the cover off for the night. The pool was comfortable, bright, and clean. Breakfast had a variety but guests have to eat in the sitting area rather than take it back and enjoy it in the room. The staff was friendly. I basically live on the road and this is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in during the last four months. The staff was fairly competent, except for one, but the worst part was the smell the first room I was put in had an unpleasant smell as soon as you walked into the room and the second room was not any better.

There to visit family in Michigan. Baymont turned out to be everything they said to me and more. Had wonderful nights sleep on very comfortable beds. Free morning breakfast was really nice when travelling with our 2 teen children, plus the buffet varied a little every day! I am very pleased with our stay. The hotel was nice, clean rooms, halls, pool. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. Not only did they offer breakfast but since we were there on a Monday thru Wednesday they also offered dinner on those nites. Very nice. When in the area again we would difinitly stay again.

I do not recommend this hotel for families. This hotel is not child friendly. The staff tends to be stand offish with people who have children accompanying them.

Check carefully between your hotels.com reservation online and what the property will deliver in actual room size and layout. We booked a "suite" with separate sitting area / sofa bed and even after confirming via phone with the hotel staff prior to arrival, they did not have us booked in the larger room when we arrived. We had to purchase a "second […] suite" for quite a bit more money. (All other options were "sold out".) The accommodations were generally nice and fairly updated. We were all accomodated together and the rooms were spacious allowing plenty of play and visiting opporunities in the hotel.
