I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.

great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay

The hotel was reasonably priced and a two minute walk from the falls! The rooms were nice (King sized beds!) but watch out for extra charges...they will charge you a hefty rate at the end of your stay for just one nights parking.

They're supposed to turn freely. I suggest you replace those things. Our TV was also bad. It was mostly green on one side. Other than that, we were okey.

The room was fine, as well as the welcome. There was a problem with a leak from upstairs that wetted the carpet in the corner but it didn't effect us. Also it was quite complicated to understand how to make the jakusi work (had to push hard on the button on the wall, and the buttons on the bathtub were useless. Well realistically you get what you pay for and in this case I paid a very low rate for 4 people to sleep comfortably and it didn'[t exactly happen that way. The front desk clerk was 100% professional and the surrounding area was a 5+.......BUT the room was awful. The beds were way to soft, there was water leaking into the room from the roof so the […] rug was completely soak and wet near the table. I had to place towels there to soak up the water. The remaining rug was very very dirty and the room smelled like a cellar. The TV sound would not get loud and the neighbors next door had a child that would not stop screaming at night and again in the morning. We never got to experience the breakfast because it went from 6:00am until 8:30am. That kind of time period should only be set for a conference connected hotel were guest must get up and out of their rooms very early for classes or some other typr of business venture; but, for guests who are on vacation they rarely get up before 8:00am. Breakfast should at least be extended until 10:00am for those who get up late and on vacation. I am sorry but I would not recommend this hotel to anyone due to the fact that it was not cleaned well enough. Read more

A very affordable hotel located 5-10 minutes away from all tourist attractions. Services was highly appreciated, housekeeping has a direct supervision, concern and attention to every customer staying in the hotel. Front desk was easy to access 24/7, any minute you call and ask your need, always available, no question ask. The cleanliness of the surroundings, […] and the swimming pool was taking cared of. Staff and personnel are approachable and definitely will attend to you with a smile. We are convinced that there are other hotels that are bigger but the rate was incomparable with Howard Johnson Express. "Absolutely horrible"
This hotel needed upgrading 20 years ago. The air conditioner leaked all over our clothes. Obviously leaking for a long period because of the mildew odor. The carpet was soiled and ripped. The toilet wobbled and ran all night. The ceramic tile on floor was cracked and coming up. The elastic on the fitted sheets no longer exist due to over use. To call […] this a suite is bait and switch. It was 2 small double beds crammed into an even smaller room. If you want verification we were in room 122. Also when we got there they tried to charge extra for our dogs. The only reason we chose this hotel was because they were dog friendly. The hotel itself was ok. The manager/owner was very nice. The girl working at the desk was very helpful. There were a few issues we had though. First thing was on the first night there, there was a fight in the parking lot between two guests that were staying there-which the owner promply broke up. Also, we were offered a hot breakfast when we booked […] the room and there was only bread for toast and stale muffins. And the last issue was that the pool itself looked nice but one you got to it, there was hair and debree in the pool. It was rather gross. Also, we broght our dog with us. When we went out, we put him in a cage so they could clean our room. One day when we out and came back several hours later, our room was not cleaned. The reason given as to why is wasn't cleaned was because the dog growled at her. It is a cocker spaniel, in a cage, and NOT aggresive at all. The owner was a very nice gentleman, very helpful and caring. My earring fell down the drain and he came up right away and took the pipe apart to get my earring.

It's hard to complain with the rate I got for a hotel in Niagara Falls, ON. The room was ok, clean but showing it's age. The evening front desk clerk was very friendly helpful. Sadly her counter part in the morning was not. I got down to breakfast aroud 8:30 and there wasn't too much to left to eat and breakfast still had 30 minutes to go. In the 15 […] minutes I was there no one came to check on the condition of things, to restock any of the breakfast items or to empty the trash. The trash can was full to over flowing and people had started piling trash up on bar counter that was shared with this breakfast nook. A typical HOJO; room was clean and staff was friendly; nothing special, but nothing wrong. Good location and it's a good value. Free wifi was fast; continental breakfast should be skipped.

The hotel is more of a motel than a hotel. The location isn't bad - it's surrounded by other motels and a short drive from the falls. We upgraded to a jacuzzi suite, which was great, but the shower stall in the bathroom was tiny (picture a standard bathtub turned on its side). sucks big time...totally not as showed in pictures...completely deceiving..was not expecting fancy but, at least clean...all kind of dirts and spilling on the carpet - quite disgusting
This hotel is just sad. Need to charge around 50$ or 60$ any more than one star is just pure stealing money. Horrible location unproductive staff over all 1 star

We were just looking for a place to stay for the night so we chose this hotel. It is an express hotel, so we knew it wouldn't have all the niceties that other hotels would have. We enjoyed our stay there.
