Overall the room, food and service was great. Easy access to Eaton Center Mall. Restaurants inside and outside the mall all within walking distance of the hotel. My only complaint is the bathroom towels were hard.

I was welcomed and attended to, with a bright smile at the front desk. My room had a great layout. It was very clean, neat and professionally taken care of. The restaurant and bar located within the hotel provided great service and they were very comfortable. I look forward to staying again when I visit Toronto again.

Good: The location. Connected directly to the Eaton Centre by walkway (the walkway comes out in the Sears in Eaton Centre), and by several subway stations (Dundas being the closest, I think). Walking distance to many, many things, including the CN Tower (maybe about a 20-25 minute walk). Right in the heart of what appears to be a shopping and financial […] district, so if you're a business or pleasure traveler it seems like a good choice. The rooms are nice and big, and stocked with your basic amenities like coffee and has lots of power outlets and connections. The staff is also friendly and helpful, and the in-hotel gift shop is kind of charming with some amusing gifts. Bad: Wi-fi is not included and is a bit expensive (CAD $15.95 a day). This is a major pet peeve of mine. Also, because of the above good reasons I listed, it seems to be quite a popular hotel. This is not necessarily a bad thing, but it becomes an annoying thing when the walls appear to be somewhat thin and your neighbors decide to be obnoxious and loud, as mine did on Sunday night. The room was FREEZING. I had to turn the heat up to 90 degrees just to make it maybe 73. I was shivering and had goosebumps so that should tell you how cold it was. The maintenance guy did mention they are in the process of installing wireless devices and the device was too close to the heater. The only other complaint i had was that the gym equipment […] was awful. They had Lifefitness instead of Precore and cycling felt like 20 times the effort. I guess, looking on the positive side, I got a much better work out in 1/2 the time. Other than that, the service was exceptional and the food was good. The beds were comfortable, of course, and the location was great. If they could change the thermostat location and change the gym equipment, I would gladly give the hotel 4 stars. Read more

We had a great time spending New Years here. I'm sure it is not the hotels fault, but police officers guarding the elevators was a bit much and taking away exits was very annoying. One way in and one way out was quite odd when you are partying. Other than that, I would love to rock this place in the future.

Hotel was a great experience, Marriott never seems to disappoint. Staff very friendly and accommodating. Beds super comfortable as always. Room and bathroom both a good size. Convenient location (for my purpose of taking in as much of the downtown area as possible). Would stay again!

The location is convenient, close to Dundas and the Gardiner Parkway. Rooms are quiet, the on site restaurant offers an excellent breakfast until noon as well as convenient and tasty dishes for lunch and dinner. The concierge is excellent, very knowledgeable, efficient and helpful.

It was a pleasure to stay here. The rooms were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The staff was very helpful and courteous. The location is perfect if you are sightseeing with easy access to the subway and buses. Right next door to the Eaton Centre for shopping and restaurants!

Great experience, very nice room, clean, friendly staff,the food was a little pricey but I've heard most food is in Toronto. If there is anything they can do to improve the hotel it would just be to put a better color paint on the walls, but seriously who cares about that. Oh and also they have a kiosk for internet and flight check in, but the flight […] check in kiosk didnt seem to work. I strongly recommend using this instead of waiting at the airport! Nice touch though having it in the hotel!The beds were extremely comfortable, the tv was great, bathroom nice. Hotel is in a great location, easy to walk to the Rodgers center, restaurants, brewers, that huge sports bar All Sports, comedy clubs, bars on front street, etc. Definitely recommended. Read more

Overall great. Location is great (although sometimes only valet parking is available).The pool is quite small for people wanting to do laps. Very good fitness room. Wifi comes at a pricey fee (which I really think should be waived EVERYWHERE). Good breakfast.

The location in terms of proximity to the downtown core and Eaton center is this hotel's strong point. Other than that, I would not rank it with the Marriott nomenclature but rather, one of the lower level in their chain. Here is the litany of things that were below what we expected: - noisy hallways through 3 AM in the morning. - towels that we could […] have found in a Motel 6 (sorry Motel 6, that is not a positive comment) - the bed was tooooo soft (intimacy can be a crushing experience, if you know what I mean) - have to pay for internet - I haven't had to pay for internet for a few years now - this hotel is way behind the curve in terms of this feature. - no bottled water - never been to a hotel that didn't offer a couple bottles of comp. I booked this hotel for a girls weekend and it turned out to be just what we were looking for. The location of the hotel was perfect. We were centrally located to many of the Toronto attractions and were able to walk everywhere. We were able to park right in the hotel's gated parking garage. This was great since we wanted to leave our vehicle there […] the whole weekend while we walked to our destinations. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. Our group did not know much about downtown Toronto so we asked the staff for recommendations on dining and nightlife. Not only did they give us many options to choose from, but they also mapped out directions for us. Everyone there was extremely friendly and greeted us whenever we walked by. The customer service that we received was top notch and we definitely appreciated the friendliness. I honestly cannot say anything but nice things about the staff and how accommodating they were. Our room that we shared was very nice. The mattresses and bedding were comfortable and the room was clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others and enjoyed my stay there. Read more

Location is the best. The room itself is clean and bright and spacious. Two seperate nights I was being waking at 3 AM by people talking and laughing loudly, and someone talking on the cell phone in the hallway. The towels are kind of old, and it has the most uncomfortable pillows. I will stay there again for the location.

Rooms were very basic (for a 4 start hotel, at least), but clean. No refrigerator or mini-bar. Our rooms shared the floor with conference suites that accommodated a non-stop flow of a rowdy bunch that kept coming and going at all hours of day and night. Because of this, the hallway outside of the elevators and the conference rooms looked like a pigsty […] with empty beer glasses and crushed potato chips. Although, we spent most of the time outside of the hotel, we didn't get any satisfaction out of coming to the room and having to hear the nonsensical hum coming from the hallway. We would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with a family. If you do happen to stay there however, make sure you get a room on the floor that doesn't have a conference suite.
