This is a separate hotel from the Hilton two blocks away. This one does not adjoin the convention center nor does it have convention facilities. The breakfasts are fine. "Hidden costs and sub par rooms"
The hotel is a valet only hotel, with parking costing $28/night. No nearby street parking, and this is a big unexpected increase to the daily cost. My first room faced to the interior of the building with no windows to the outside. "For Average Hotel it is good, but for a Hilton..."

"Good, but not perfect"
My experience with Hilton has always been top notch, so maybe I'm being too picky with how I felt during our stay. The people were nice and friendly at the front desk. The people in the restaurant, not so much. The restaurant manager with a little snippy when my girlfriend asked for silverware because he had brought some already, but he brought 2 not […] 3. When I asked for water, the server sighed and rolled her eyes at me. The food was not worth $12, but the convenience of a full breakfast buffet is there if you want it. The room was nice and clean, but the sheets seemed very small for that bed size and by the morning the bed cover had complete come off the bed and we were both sleeping on the mattress top. The commode sounded like a jet engine and woke us up whenever it flushed. The staff was nice enough to get us a roll out bed within minutes of requesting it at check in. I enjoyed every part of this stay. Room was comfortable, breakfast was great, and friendly staff. The only thing that I was not happy with was the fact that when I received my bill in the morning they had charged me an extra $30.00 for parking. I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn over the weekend of the Austin City Limits Festival for its convenience to Zilker Park. I found the facilities to be very comfortable, staff super friendly and attentive. The valet crew is especially warm, engaging, and efficient. I was disappointed by my room's view, however; I didn't realize the "garden" part of […] the hotel's name means most rooms are going to overlook an indoor courtyard, not outside. It's a lovely courtyard, but it was an inconvenience and a bit disconcerting to not know what the weather was like in the morning. Wonderful location and a great hotel. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had was with housekeeping. The first day they forgot to give us new washclothes or a bath mat. The second day we told them we just needed new towels and such but they didn't have to make beds as we were in and out of room. Just pick up. "Pool picture is very deceiving"
Overall, the hotel is nice. The valet area is very small can get very congested if it's a busy time (ex. around check-in) or if they are hosting a private event (ex. there was a wedding Saturday night so it was extremely crowded and we had to just sit in our cars for a little while until it was cleared out). The pictures show a very cool waterfall/pool area. Well, just be aware that what you see in the picture is the absolute only pool space. There is no "pool" to swim around in. It's basically a small square (3-4 feet deep) where the waterfall is. They also do not have any lounge chairs to lay out. They do have 2 small tables/chairs out there but the area is very small so it gets crowded extremely quickly. "Serious review about the hotel"
The location is right on the spot where nightlife club and bars are located and college area, and Hotel gets very busy and high traffic at the lobby with so many people for the weekend. Most likely, clients are between 20 to early 40s who frequently goes there. Online photos for the pool, shows it totally expanded and altered. the reality of the pool […] is like 15'L x 10'W. The pool at my house is bigger than this one and it is right at the lobby in display of everyone. For the parking, you must pay $28 for mandatory valet parking with no choice to park your car anywhere in the city, if you find a spot, you will pay by the hour. For the Service at front desk, they are professional enough to deal with the clients. but it feels like when you are dealing with a government agency employees with a fake smile and enough to say to be sarcastic/professional. The rooms are very clean and bed is very comfy. The only negative about the room is the bathroom, you are practically allow to do 1 and half step inside and door covers all the open space reaching the toilet. The breakfast service is awesome and service personnel are outstanding. You can observe and compare the difference with these personnel and the ones at front desk. I paid a total of $250 with all parking cost and internet with breakfast included for one night. I rate this hotel 3 out of 5 stars. "hotel overbooked, unapologetic"
I am very disappointed with the above experience. On Expedia I got a room that sleeps 4 adults. I called the hotel around 3pm to say they would be late checking in (after 10pm)- room paid for. At 11:00 pm I called again to say they were on their way. I wanted to confirm the room I paid for she said- "we don't have any that sleep 4 left, you will get […] a king & a roll-away bed (if we have one)." I explained that 4 adults cannot sleep in 3 beds and that my reservation was for 4 adults- a king/queen sleeper sofa or 2 queens were shown on Expedia & confirmed by the nice front desk lady when i called earlier. This Front desk lady was rude & made silly excuses. Never apologized or offered remedy- like 2 regular rooms (she said she would charge for 2nd room).
