"NO COMPLAINTS"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 6, 2012
I was not disappointed in any way. The location was easy to get to and a magnificient view from the room of Niagara Falls set the tone for the whole weekend. Dinning was great and service was above my expectations. What more can I say.
"great experience"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
great hotel with phenomenal service from the front desk staff. i noticed there were no robes in our room and mentioned it to the front desk as we left to visit the falls just so they were aware and i wouldnt get charged for them. i told them i really didnt need them. when we came back, there were 2 robes in the room, fresh cookies on the desk, new chocolates on the headboard, the bed was remade, and there was a hand-written note. could not have been happier with the stay

"good location for Town Ballroom events"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Although we didn't spend very much time at the hotel, the staff called to see if we needed anything and they delivered. The beds were comfy, bathroom roomy and nice TV. The free breaky the next morning was good and better than most others I have had.

see all hotels in Niagara Falls"Great service for the price"
The top 3 things I looked at when booking this hotel was the location, price and cleanness. Did not eat there, but everything else overall was good. The carpets could have been cleaner, but the bed sheets and towels and bathroom were clean. Really close to the (new) casino, walking distance to the falls, Clifton Hill and pretty much any attraction […] area. Read more

"Travel Lodge Niagara Falls"
The Hotel is very easy to get too. Close walking distance to the Falls. Staff is very easy going Only downside you have to pay for Parking at hotel and Lot is across street on the back side of hotel. They have a small pool and Hot tub Plenty of Attractions near by.

"No frills, just far enough away from the noise"
The hotel's location is great for those who don't want to pay the higher rates to stay right next to the attractions. It is on Ferry Street, one block south of Victoria, leaving you a 5 minute walk from all the restaurants/shopping/museums/mini golf and bowling fun, without having to experience the noise of that at night. It is also walkable to the […] falls themselves - a 15-20 minute walk will save you money and time trying to find a parking spot by the falls. You will pay for parking at the hotel, however. The room was clean, spacious, and had all the necessities. It's not luxurious, but it was perfectly reasonable. The hotel has a pool and hot tub that was popular with the kids staying there, and the front desk staff were courteous and helpful. Read more
"Recommend hotel"
This hotel was centrally located within walking distance from all attractions. The rooms were comfortable and I would recommed it to anyone traveling - I use my hotel room as a place to sleep, rest and freshen up- It was very clean and quiet. The only disavantage was they charged for parking each day and no continental breakfast, though a coffee pot […] was in the room- no refrigerator either. Staff was very friendly Read more

"free breakfast isn't worth it"
The stay was very nice. the hotel staff was very friendly and very helpful. they could tell us a lot about the local attractions. the room was nice. the bed wasn't very comfortable, and the tv was had way to much static! but it was really well priced, and within walking distance to everything!! next time we won't bother with the free breakfast, you […] only have two choices, and it took a really long time, and there was a hair in it when it finally came!! overall...you get what you pay for.. "no complaints"
ok price, great location if you're not looking to be right at the falls... easy walking distance to everything else... clean, nice rooms... on a small lot, so not a lot of places to even stop to check in
"Travelodge by the Falls"
The location of the hotel is good because it's a short walk to the main street. We got two hotel rooms for the 4 people in our group because it was cheaper than having all four of us in the same room. Parking is not included in the hotel stay, it's an additional cost.
"Travel Lodge - Niagara Falls, Canada ONT"
The hotel staff were very accommodating. The room was comfortable, and maintained very well. Breakfast was not included, which would have been a plus, but there was a restaurant on-site that was convenient and the food was good.
"Average hotel, but a good price"
Pros- free wifi, cheap parking, nice staff, clean room, location is OK Cons- walls are paper thin- you can hear everything in the hall and next door.
"Travelodge by the falls"
I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends!! It was very clean, close to falls and surrounding attractions and hotel staff were very helpful. Only thing I would have liked would have been a refridgerator and microwave!!

The air conditioner put out a horrible smell. The non-smoking room smelled like smoke when I arrived.
"Thin walls but convienent"
Everything about this hotel was what we expected. It is a cheaper hotel that is near the airport and mainly for people on their way to another destination. The walls are super thin and we heard some people getting 'friendly' with each other in the next room over. All in all, it was what we expected although it should be a little less expensive if you […] ask me. Read more
"The hotel at Niagara Fall, Ontoria"
When I got there, I was surprised that there was parking fee over there. Then when I got into my room, I was surprised there was no wireless signal even they claim they had. The guys next my door kept their TV sound to max and I got free TV all the night. It is not good for my first night.

"Good location for our agenda"
Only negative issue relating to our room was the shortage of toilet tissue and soap. Otherwise, everthing was great. Front desk staff were immediately responsive to our request for both items. No need to show this in our review. Unfortunately, we were not at the hotel long enough to take advantage of the amenities (pool). It appeared to be well maintained […] and clean. Read more

"Good Price"
Good price, clean hotel, great people, good location. My only complaint was beds and pillows are very uncomfortable because it feels hard, especially after a long day around the major tourist attractions.
"Rip off hotel"
Charged for parking, 9 bucks a day. Other surrounding lots were cheaper and most other hotels did not charge for parking. Rip off! The pool was so small my foot barely fit in it and it was so cold that even on a hot day it was to cold to go in. Plus people walking down the road or at the restaurant could see you. They also charged me tons of extra money. […] Had 4 people two boys, two girls and they wanted 50 a night per person for anyone over 2 people. It had two queen beds and four towels. I guess I really wasn't renting the room, otherwise I would have been able to acutally use the room to its capability. I could understand charging for a 5th person since there is no bed for them, but why for four when the room is built for four. The receptionist was also mean and kept telling me it was the online booking expedia that was responsible, which it was not since they billed me seperate. Read more
"Perfect deal for the price!"
I picked this hotel to stay at because I wanted something well priced. I took my son and his friend to the Falls as an 'end of school year' celebration, so we didn't need anything fancy like what we would normally book on a full family trip. The Hotel was clean, it has a pool, (a little small, but who cares), a hot tub, sauna and an outdoor wading […] pool. The boys went swimming on 3 different occasions and had a blast. The room was a standard 2 queen bed, nothing out of the ordinary, but very clean and exactly what I would have expected. The hotel as a whole was clean and well looked after. The staff was friendly. There is a parking fee (the cheapest I've found at Niagara Falls!), but I knew that ahead of time by reading the other info about the hotel on here. (For those that comment about the so called "unexpected" parking costs, just read the details, it's all there) There's a small restaurant at the lobby level which we didn't use, but would be very convenient if we had wanted to use it. There is no free wifi which some people might be looking for when the book a hotel. (but I did manage to pick up a signal from elsewhere and connect) I would absolutely recommend this hotel for anyone looking for good, clean, standard accommodations. The price was perfect, the hotel was clean - which was probably one of the most important things I was looking for in an economically priced hotel. No real view outside, but I wasn't there for the hotel room view anyways. If you want cleanliness, convenience, and a good deal, then book this hotel! Read more
"Close to the falls, clean and comfortable"
I was very happy with this hotel for a one-night stay in niagara falls, ontario. Clean, comfortable enough beds, great shower with AMAZING hot water pressure - got the thumbs up from the boyfriend. would definitely stay here again, but would avoid eating at smitty's downstairs (plate 'o' grease for nine dollars - rip off)

"Good hotel for the money"
We were satified with the rooma andf the location. Close to attractions to attractions and the falls. Did not like having to pay for parking at the hotel. We felt this should have been included.
"Great Hotel for Money"
Good location, close to Clifton Hill activities. Hotel recommended Four Brothers Restaurant for dinner which is located next to the hotel. Excellent choice.

"Great room for the money"
The hotel was conveniently located, within a walking distance to all attractions. Helpful staff. Room was clean and quiet. We were able to see fireworks from our window. The breakfast turned out to be a bit pricy for a breakast special. We paid about $Can 30 for 2 adults and 1 child. Overally, great room for the money.

"Great Hotel"
We had a great stay at the travelodge by the falls! It is within walking distance from the falls however with walking back and forth a lot it ends up feeling pretty far away. The room was great. It was very clean and we did not have any problems. As soon as we arrived in the room we got a phone call from the front desk asking if everything looked ok […] to us, which it did! The price was good as well. The pools looked a little small but we didn't even have time to use them. I definitely recommend this hotel and I would stay there again! Read more
"Ordinary Hotel but Pricey on Weekends"
The hotel was an average Joe hotel. Nothing extraordinary, but nothing bad about it either. The only problem is that we went to Niagara Falls on the weekend during the summer time. While I am sure this hotel isn't the only one to do this, it was a slap in the face to see the price double that of a regular weekday price. The hotel is plenty close to […] the main strip of the falls if you don't mind a 10-15 minute walk (3-4 blocks). We didn't mind the walk. Gave us a little opportunity to look around and get some exercise. Pros: Clean room, bathtub was a molded plastic type that looked new with no opportunity for anything disgusting like mold to be present. Cons: Single light in bathroom did not light it up very much. Made showering a little on the dim side. $9 parking fee not included in the booking on this website. Read more

"Nice Hotel"
The Travellodge was nice and their employees were friendly. We would stay there again.
"good location"
Easy to get to and out of if your driving. Hotel is on the main street of tourist places with the falls at the end of the road. (with in walking distance) Rooms were clean and had all the basics you would need. There is a resturant on the main floor that had breakfast specials for $6.99. If your going to the skylon tower plan to go at night. The falls […] are beautiful light up and so is the town. Read more
"A good choice"
The hotel was a good choice to stay. It was within walking distance from the attraction and amusement located in Canada. The room I stayed in was comfortable and clean. Room also was quite roomy. The pricing was not so bad either, good for a couple who wants to have a great time and wants low pricing rate. Though all was good, there are some cons to […] this hotel. The pool is not so big, the outside pool was not so good. My suggestion is to go when its extremely hot for the outside pool. Oh and it closes at 10pm. Another, no free access to the internet. "Good room for the money"
The Hotel was clean and close to the falls, the bed was not the most comfortable, but for the money and location it was worth it.
