The hotel was dark, dank, outdated, spider infested and NOT SAFE! My room was opened and used by someone before I entered and when I reported it to the front desk, they were rude and unprofessiopnal! And then I requested a different room, and the front desk personnel acted like I was inconveniencing them! The second room I was given was spider infested […] and had a musty smell to it. I was tired and only needed the room for the night so I decided to stay, thinking that at least I would have a nice breakfast in the morning... WRONG! The "complimentary breakfast was a joke! The hotel promisedd hot and cold items in their advertisng. I arrived at the lobby for breakfast at 8 AM only to find a few boxes of raisin bran, a warm carafe of milk, 2 or 3 bagels and NO HOT ITEMS. When I inquired with the front desk as to where was the rest of the breakfast items, once again I was met with rude, unprofessional behavior. I was told that "the Hotel does not promise to offer any hot items, and that what you see is what you get." I asked if there was a manager around that I could speak with and I was told "If you want to talk to her, then you need to do it during the week because no one could do anything to help me now. I will NEVER stay here again and I definitely recommend that anyone considering staying here not waste your time or money on this DUMP! Read more

This hotel is okay. Negatives were that the pool was not open, mold in tub, wallpaper torn, found dirty cup in the coffee maker and breakfast not too good. Positives were location, lobby updated, comfy beds and other than mold in tub, the room seemed to be clean and we felt safe leaving our show cars in lot.

Although I specifically asked for a wheelchair when the reservation was made, upon arrival there was none. The wheelchair they had had been stolen in December of the previous year and it had not been replaced. The best offer they could make was I was free to go elsewhere. This was at 8:00 pm and I was with my 90 year-old mother. I found a dining room […] chair that had wheels on it and that is what we used. I was not happy but was too tired to drive up and down the street looking for a night's accommodation. Had that clerk taken some ownership of the problem she could have called a rental place for a wheelchair. She only took direction from the manager who was not on the premises, but on the phone, completely removed from the situation. The manager, who did not ask to speak to me directly, suggested I could go elsewhere which I will from now on and divert any business away from the Lexington as long as I shall live. Read more

Great place to stay when you have an early flight out in the morning. Rooms are large and clean. The breakfast is ok, but the coffee is quite weak. Overall a great value. Long term parking there is expensive when you leave your car there less than a week as the parking options are on a weekly rate.

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. If was well worth the price. There is no restaurant for dinner but the Marriott Courtyard has a restaurant and it is across the parking lot. The staff was very helpful and I would stay at this hotel again. I booked this hotel the same day as my stay.

Thus hotel is close to the airport at a reasonable price. It looked like it had seen better days, nothing terribly wrong, but a bit frayed around the edges. I left too early to comment on the breakfast. Most nearby restaurants were closed for the holiday. Shuttle to the airport was on time.

The hotel was not very clean I had to request to change rooms and the staff was very rude. I witnessed 2 members of the staff wheel some garbage outside below my window rather than put it into the dumpster. I thought at first well maybe they got a call and will come back to finish the job later but to my dismay they never came back to remove the garbage […] and when I called to the desk to make a complaint they were not very receptive to my comment nor did they resolve the issue. Instead I received from the front desk this comment "well for the money you are paying" with a what did I expect or think I deserved attitude. I choose this hotel because of the obviously false pictures and reviews it got on Expedia and for that matter isn't the point of using these sites to get the lowest deal possible for these rooms that would be an outrageous amount if we just called and booked a room forthright. All in all I was very displeased with the hotel and would not recommend it to anyone to stay at nor would I stay there again. I was quite embarrassed when I had a friend stop over and she said "Why are you staying here" it made me feel like she was implying are you poor and that this is the only place you could afford. There was only one girl who worked the desk who was not only helpful but also very kind. I will use Expedia again because of the way they resolved the situation but never for this hotel. Read more

The Lexington near the Detroit airport is good if you just need 6 hours of rest and a shower. It's very close to the airport and if you don't mind hearing the red eye flights or early morning flights depart then this hotel would be fine for you. Overall the hotel was clean but very dated and more than a little run down. The wallpaper in the room was […] peeling and the ceiling above the shower had water damage. There was also a hole in the 1980's predated carpet. Though for the rate we paid it was nice that it had a refrigerator and microwave, the fridge was only used to keep my soda cold. They have free shuttle service to the airport which is nice, but the free "hot" breakfast was lacking. It felt like they wanted to compete with such complimentary breakfasts that you would have at a Hampton Inn or Drury Inn which is a little more upscale. The round egg patties and sausage pucks were dismal, the milk looked like it was left out too long. Luckily I was satisfied with a bagel and cream cheese. Overall not a place that I would stay for an extended period but for our quick stop for some rest it worked out just fine. Read more
