Nice place to stay to see Washington do not need a car Metro within 10 min walk. Great location for shopping eating or relaxing. Only issue was the hot tub was down.

Close to subway and therefore easy to get to everything. Everyone there were extremely helpful. Full breakfast a plus. Room was clean and had a complete kitchen. Business center was useful and soon will have Wi-Fi.

Pleasant experience all together. Breakfast st up and service could be improved, for example: bagels had very little taste! Plates and cutlery was not all available at times, plates were not very clean...........But, coffee was good!

Stayed at the Residence Inn in Pentagon City as we were going to DC. Loved the hotel. It was only 2 blocks from the metro and they provided a shuttle if you didn't want to walk. Very close to the Pentagon and the Pentagon Memorial. Also close to either the Pentagon City or Pentagon Metro stop which was very handy. We also made use of the refrigerator, freezer, and microwave since there was a close grocery store. Easily accommodated our family of five which is not always the case.

We went for a 3 day DC visit and this was a very good choice. The hotel is very close to metro just a block away. It takes few mins to walk to the station. We took hop on tour which has a pickup point near to the pentagon mall so that turned out to be very good. View from the room was amazing overlooking DC and night view was superb. There is no Valet […] Parking as said on the website. Plus: Location, View, Staff, Room Facility. Minus: You can here people next door if they are talking loud, Slow internet and 22$ parking. We had a great stay. Finally a hotel that understands families! I love the 2 beds plus a pull out couch and kitchen. Close to metro, shopping near by, great views of the city. The only con was the broken hot tub. Staff was very helpful and friendly!

Had a great stay at the Residence Inn Pentagon City. We arrived early and were accommodated right away by the desk personnel with our rooms. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable with down comforters. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that the hotel offered free dinner in addition to breakfast. A free shuttle bus […] takes guests to various spots within a mile radius there is also a free shuttle to and from the airport. The only complaint that I have is WiFi is only available in the lobby area. Free Internet is available in the room but only via wired access which didn't help me with my iPad. We just returned from a 4 day trip to DC and had a wonderful time at the residence Inn. To try to make this review a helpful I 'll break our experience down into four parts. Location: The Hotel IS directly across the street from the Pentagon and DEA with an excellent view of the DC skyline from the upper floors (3and above), pentagon and, There is […] a cluster of 3 shopping centers about 2-3 block away which include a wide variety of restaurants, Harris Teeter grocery store, pharmacy, Best Buy, and a wide variety of restaurants and retailers. The Pentagon City Metro station was two blocks away with access to the blue and yellow lines. Amenities: The hotel has a small but adequate indoor pool on the 2nd floor that kept our children occupied. Breakfast was served daily with wide variety of choices from breakfast burritos , to sausage and gravy depending on the day. The hot entrees we're changed daily with waffles, cereals, breads and fruits remaining constant through out the week. A free managers dinner is available Monday through Thursday. We were only able to take advantage of this on one evening due to the time of our stay, but were satisfied with the choice offered. *Our room was recently remodeled and much nicer than the pictures on the web site would indicate. Service: The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and very attentive. Every problem or question was met with swift attention. Value: The breakfasts, diners and full kitchen add quit a bit of value to the property. Coupled with price we received through this website made it a great value for us. Fantastic stay! My husband, two children and I took a five-day mini-vacation over the President's Day weekend to meet up with my sister and her two children at this hotel and see the sights in D.C. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff really make this place! They couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. There was some renovation going on […] in the lobby, but they did their utmost to ensure that it caused the least bother to the guests. The four kids loved the pool, the breakfast buffet was great, the room was spacious and newly redecorated, the kitchen had everything we needed (one night our two families got together and cooked a meal). I loved the Harris Teeter supermarket, wish we had such a nice one near us here at home. The hotel offered to have the shuttle driver take us to the supermarket and also pick us up, which was really helpful. We are thinking of making the President's Day weekend an annual D.C. mini-vacation, and we'll definitely remember this hotel for future stays. The other nice things are that the hotel is a couple of blocks from a nice mall with lots of stores and restaurants, and it's also very close to two Metro stops to go into D.C. The supermarket is an easy two block walk from the hotel. Very convenient. location. One tiny downside is that parking is an extra charge. My car battery died and they helped me within minutes. I had different places to go on business, and they dropped me off and picked me up from each location. My son and I decided to spend an impromptu weekend in Washington, D.C. The location next to the Pentagon City shopping complexes was sterile but it offered places to eat close to the hotel. The metro was nearby for easy access to D.C.-area attractions. Though the hotel charges a hefty $22 a day for parking on the weekend we found ample parking on the […] street. The room was comfortable for two and the kitchenette would have allowed us to save a few dollars on an extended stay. As it was, we made our own tea and warmed up leftovers in the microwave. The hotel has a shuttle from the airport and another car that the front desk staff drives that will take you anywhere you need to go within 1 mile. My tv did not work when I arrived in the room. The desk sent a repair person immediately. When I asked them to call me a taxi, the shuttle operator offered to take us to the location himself for free. he came back and picked us up later.

The Residence Inn met my minimal needs: it was clean and convenient, being a reasonable walk from the Pentagon City metro station. And the room was spacious and had a kitchenette and microwave. But I had hoped to get some food, and late at night, the only option was very overpriced candy and chips (I think it was $4 for a candy bar).
