"Great Place to Stay...."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
ALL staff is very polite and helpfull. They will go out of there way to assist you with any of your needs. I would recomend the Clarion to everyone. On the down side they have renovations going on and restaurant is closed and the front desk is a short distance to the elevators. Stop in and say "HI" the staff will greet you with a smile. I have been here the last 7 weekends and VERY HAPPY...

"Wedding interfered with our stay"
The hotel was completely taken over by a wedding that was held at the facility.we could not use the restaurant, it was noisy, the complimentary breakfast was decimated by the wedding guests and not replenished.. I went to print out my boarding pass at their business facilities and the computers were so dated that they. Old not accommodate the java required […] to access Jet Blues site. Even the hotelS website could not function correctly because it used Flash and the software was so down level that it would not display. The desk clerk had to access my record in their back office for me to print out my boarding pass Read more

"Enjoyable Stay"
The staff was friendly and the hotel was clean. The beds were a bit on the hard side for me, but some people prefer them like that. We only live 10 miles from the hotel, we were just looking for a little getaway. We choose the Simsbury Inn because it has an indoor pool. Down the road is a bowling alley and they also have laser tag. Our five year old […] enjoyed that! There is also an Indian restaurant down the road called "Little India". They serve excellent food. If you are able to, bring your bikes and enjoy the bike trail! It was a very pleasant stay. Read more

"Simsbury Inn, Simsbury CT"
Simsbury Inn is a very comfortable hotel, great pool and spa. Food and service at Twigs Bar was very good. Only problem we found again was so called breakfast, know it's only muffin type stuff but talk about slim pickins. Second time at Simsbury Inn, both times food selection for breakfast was terrible and always empty. We had to get something to eat […] at local bagel place first visit and this time we went to Inn Cafe which was not good at all. Read more

It was a lovely hotel, and we enjoyed our stay. Sunday brunch was excellent!
"Deep in the snow belt of CT is the Simsbury Inn"
An impressive structure in a lovely quaint town brings to mind an over-sized bed and breakfast, a turn of the century boarding school and a luxury hotel all in one. Winter was quiet and service was toned down, but sufficient for the pace. Everything was perfectly lovely, except the beds (a little hard and flat). It was in a perfect location for my business […] purpose and I would happily stay there again. Once could easily make The Simsbury Inn a regular destination. Read more
"Simsbury Inn, Simsbury CT"
Wonderful Hotel, easy check-in, very nice employees. Only problems I found would be uncomfortable bed and at 9:15 AM no more food available at free breakfast.
"Nice Old House"
Overall satisfying stay in this old house. Rooms are very nice with extremely commfortable canopy beds and wooden furniture. Only downside was the breakfast (only sweet pastries and some fruits).
"Great secluded location"
The only thing that bothered me was an unpleasant "BO" smell in the room. Furnishings were beautiful, location and surrounding countryside was lovely and secluded, but the room smelled a bit.

"Westminster School Class Reunion"
The hotel is very convenient for Alumni weekends at Westminter. It is also very comfortable with friendly and helpful staff.
