I've stayed here on numerous occasions...great staff, beautiful setting, close to the harbor, I5 and the PCH. Great views and adjacent to a scenic park.

The resort has NO SELF-PARKING, which is not disclosed on this or their own website. If you have a car, you must valet park and pay $32.00 per day! Tips not included of course. You're already paying a premium for the location/amenities of the resort, so I feel this is a major ripoff. Stayed here for 3 nights for a special business event and extended 1 day vacation. Great resort. Probably the most comfortable bedding I've experienced at a hotel. Not a budget hotel by any means. Having said that, I also must say, "You get what you pay for." I was mother of the bride for my daughter's wedding at another location. My friends and I stayed at this hotel. Everyone loved it. I hosted two very different parties assisted by their concierges and catering personnel. The staff really went over and above […] for each one. Basilica, our housekeeper did a great job on our room. The beds are like sleeping on a cloud. Lena, the concierge took care of everything else. Michael and Carrie gave us the best massages ever at the Spa. I have two suggestions, though. First, the Spa needs to be open later than 6PM. We stayed at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott for a family wedding. We enjoyed everything at the hotel. The location was beautiful and also the hotel. The beds were" heaven"! The kids loved the pool. Everyone was very friendly.We couldn't have asked for more.

The first room had plumbing problem with the bath top not draining, we were moved to another room that had sink problem as well; over charged $32 parking per night, $22 resort fee per night, $15 refrigerator use per night. 2nd time staying here! Great experience, and great service! Valet parking is a bit overpriced, however, for $32. Otherwise, the location is very close to the beach, literally walking distance. It was nice to go outside and breathe ocean air! Definitely a must-stay resort.

Room 102 was very noisy. We had afternoon spa treatments and went to room to rest "in the glow" but there was a lot of noise from housekeeping in and out of the room beside us. I had reserved a king bed, we got doubles. to too happy with that but the desk did let us check in early for our spa appointments.

Staff missed the ball a few times. Had to wait for luggage to arrive at room. Upon check in had asked for extra pillows and towels to be delivered to room. Had to call front desk to get them. Everything about our stay was great. Only one minor issue....they "ran out" of rooms with king beds. We booked a room with a king bed and upon check-in, I was told that they didn't have any more. I arrived to check in at 3pm and there were a number of other guests that I assume would be told the same thing. I felt ripped off. It was overly priced, not just the hotel rate but also the resort fee (jacuzzi didn't work) and breakfast ($71 for breakfast for two??!!). Also, there is NO self-parking, only valet at $29/day. Rip off.
