Overview

Location. In Ark Hills near Akasaka, Roppongi and Kasumigaseki, the hotel shares the neighborhood with "ex-pat" communities, government agencies, corporate headquarters, embassies, financial institutions, and exclusive hotels. Tokyo's metro rail network can be accessed within one kilometer (0.6) miles and Downtown Tokyo is less than two kilometers (1.2 miles) away.
Hotel Features. The ANA InterContinental Tokyo hotel offers an onsite 24-hour fitness room (surcharge applies), outdoor pool, staffed business center with complimentary high-speed and wireless Internet access and a dedicated lounge/relaxation area. Wireless Internet access is also available on a complimentary basis across most public spaces. The four meeting rooms vary considerably in size, holding from 30 through to 2,200 guests. Dining facilities include Cascade Café on level 2 serving international cuisine (breakfast, lunch and dinner); Unkai Japanese restaurant on level 3 (all-day dining); Akasaka (teppanyaki) on level 37 (lunch and dinner); Aburi open kitchen charcoal grill on level 3 (lunch and dinner); Karin Chinese restaurant on level 3 (lunch and dinner); and Italo-Provence fine dining on level 36. Hotel shops include a convenience store, florist, beauty salon, newsstand and gift shop.

Guestrooms. Guestrooms feature work desk with desk lamp, multi-line phone, voice mail, cable television, pay movies, complimentary newspaper (each morning), bar refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, and turndown service. Non-smoking guestrooms are available.

Expert Tip. Although Akasaka is a haven of expensive restaurants and nightclubs after dark, many of the same venues offer great value-for-money deals for lunch from approximately JP¥1000. Try tempura (lightly battered vegetables and seafood), shabu-shabu (traditional Japanese hot pot), and international fare from Indonesia, France, Mexico, Russia, India and Italy.

ANA InterContinental Tokyo Roppongi

A short guide to Roppongi

If Tokyo had a Las Vegas, it would be located here. Birthplace of the city’s 1960s disco scene, this area fostered its reputation as the place to party with the more recent inclusion of restaurants, nightclubs, and other forms of entertainment, such as cabarets and hostess clubs. It is also the place to rub shoulders with Western musicians and celebrities.

The hotel was of the quality you would expect from intercontinental. Very clean and comfortable. We stayed at this hotel on three occasions and were let down a bit by the service on this our final stay.

This is an excellent hotel choice. Great location with easy access to the Metro and walking distance form the Roppongi Mall which is a must see in Tokyo. Good rooms and excellent service from the staff. We would use it again,

good location and very helpful staff, only grumble is you have to pay to use the swimming pool - which was freezing cold. A bit cheeky to charge.
