Out of 3 elevators, only 1 ran. Our room wasn't vacuumed and the bath floor had hair all over it. They have us a handicapped room (which were not handicapped) and the shower handle was so low and put on for a handicapped person so it had hardly any water pressure. We had to squat to use it. The stay was nice however, the pool closed early and we had lots to do at the university, the travel back and forth was quite a time killer, 20 min to school 20 minutes back and forth. Also I thought the website indicated they had a hot tub, looking forward to a nice soak after packing all day at the university only to find out the pool is closing in […] 10 minutes and no hot tub at all....great disappointment. Very nice,clean, comfortable room. Couldnt' find the hairdryer as it was in a black bag inside a black cubby under the sink. Called for another hairdryer but before it was brought to the room, my husband found the hairdryer. It was pushed way back in the cubby. Should have been on the white extra towels on the shelf under the sink. TGI Friday's is in […] the hotel and was our main reason for booking at the Crowne Plaza, also because it was close to the airport and we wanted a restaurant in the hotel. Breakfast was served in the morning but we didn't make the closing time and TGI Friday's wasn't open yet. There is an IHop just down the road so had our breakfast there instead. This is a nice Hotel. Really the only complaint would of been the brealfast. The food wasn't good at all. Eat the cereal! Room was clean. Staff was so nice. We are going back in a couple of months. This time we will eat at IHOP that is really close by.

This is the place i stay whenever i had to park my car and fly. The beds are so comfortable that you can have a good night sleep. The only issue that i have is the room was very hot and i could,t control the temperature. The heat switch was off and the fan has no 'off' ' option. It is low medium or high. Beds were very hard & pillows were very high. When trying to have coffee one morning I discovered old coffee in the coffee pot. Called front desk about coffee pot and it was replaced immediately. Also, there was a consistent knock in the heater and Rich fixed it immediately and was kind enough to leave us a note. Most importantly, when my wife lost her earing down the sink drain, maintenance retrieved it and left it on the counter for her. Our stay would have been better if the hotel was not under renovation, during our stay. There were construction going on the entire time we were in the hotel. Construction noises was very loud, even at night. The elevators were not functioning properly also during our stay. There were only (2)two of the (3)thee elevators working at one time or another. […] At other times there was only (1)one elevator functioning making transport to the various floors difficult at times. My sister and I were there to enjoy some time together. The hotel is in the process of being remodeled. I wish something had been mentioned about that somewhere and I would have probably chosen another hotel. We were not informed that the hotel was under construction . Two of three elevators not working. Tube in room very slow in draining, closet door very difficult to close, phone not working. Called front desk(on Cell)informed of problems. Came back to room following evening problems not resolved . Asked front desk staff about directions and recommendation […] on areas near hotel told they had no information. Or did not know how to get there. I will never stay there or any other Crown Plaza family. I will spread the word to everyone I speak to about travel. In addition to the above staff was very unfriendly. Cleaning staff blocked hallway with carts with no effort to move so that guests could get by with luggage . No vending machine for soda. No fridge in room. The room was very nice, except for the mirrored closet doors, which were extremely difficult to open. I was afraid I was going to break them whenever I tried to open and close them. The main reason I gave a low rating on the condition of the hotel is because the elevators were not functioning properly. Great location, right next to the airport. We stayed here on the last night of our trip so we could just catch the 6:00 am shuttle to the airport with our two small children. This made it super convenient. Room was nice, clean and had all the basics. I would have loved it had they had a fridge in the room. They have an indoor pool and a TGIFridays right […] in the lower level but the main lobby definitely needs updating. The fountain looked like they were working on it and there was some general construction mess here and there, which again, if it meant they were were remodeling, then hurray for them! The tile around the pool and hot tub could be deadly as water stands on it and does not drain. I nearly slipped twice just walking slowly on it. Also, there was a convention this weekend in town so we had all kinds of folks walking and rudely talking and laughing loudly in the hallway at 2:00 am and beyond which says a bit about the thinness of the walls! i got this hotel out of the 40% anonymous hotel deal thru expedia, i didn't know what i was getting but they said its 3.5 star hotel inc hilton/crowne plaza etc... i got excited when i saw the picture of the hotel after i did my confirmation. interior wise, the hotel looks very grand and there's a friday's in the property. #1.As soon as we pulled over […] the drive-way to get our stuff out of the car, the shuttle driver greeted us rudely saying we can't park on the drive-way because its for the shuttle only, so we ended up parking our vehicle at the parking lot with all our stuff still in it! (10 check-in luggage...2 toddlers, 1 infant and other carry-on bags, stroller etc.) #2 I checked in and asked for a dolly and I was told that, its first come first served so if we don't see one at the lobby...then better luck next time. # 3 I went back to my husband to tell him no dolly and he said, we need a parking permit...went to the concierge and he said "thats an old rule we do not require a parking permit, who told your husband about that?" called my husband, he said there was a sign at the parking lot stating that. OLD RULE MUST BE taken out!#4.the hotel lobby looks old and smells musty, the elevator buttons don't work right.#5 the room is old and run down! moldy faucets, musty and moist carpet, rust here and there. the balcony looks very dirty and just run down and not safe for kids too...OLD, RUNDOWN AND NEEDS A BAD MAKE-OVER. I ran the water in the shower for over 5 minutes and couldn't get hot (or even warm) water. When I told them this at checkout they said that "it's an old system that will be replaced soon" - and that we had to run it 10 to 15 minutes to get hot water.
