Super sauber, gutes Frühstück, nettes Personal, etwa 20 min zu Fuß zu den meisten Sehenswürdigkeiten, Zimmer etwas klein aber sauber und neu.

"Sejour a Paris"
07/01/15 hong my t Fullerton, California
This hotel is a gem for travelers who want to live like local . The location is ideal ...you have bus 53 just across the street to Opera & Gare St Lazare ...you can also walk through the Marche Levis , a famous farmers market in the middle of the city to get Metro Villiers & Metro Malesherbes is another choice & the hotel is at walking distance from Place Clichy then from there to Montmartre The wifi is easily accessible & free ( very important for American travelers ) The room is not fancy but clean...the bathroom is brand new and the bed is very comfortable . Also the hotel is quiet and the staff is helpful & smiling ( Thank you Muriel & other ladies ). One day I needed a takeout at night & I found a sandwich store and next to it a superette or mini- market to buy water bottle or else at 5-10 minutes walking distance from the hotel I nearly forget to advertize their home made continental breakfast ...fresh squeezed orange juice , delicious apple cake , hot coffee etc... better than in big chain hotels where i was invited to have a brunch by friends My brother in law who stayed at the same hotel was informed they accept laundry for 10 euros .... On my departure day , the hotel reserved for us a shuttle for 18 euros per person . All in all , this hotel is worth your money ....a balance between price and quality . Again a big thank you for the welcoming staff at Glasgow Monceau who made our life easier & our trip better

"Good deal for your money"

The hotel is located in 17th Arrond., which is a bit far from the downtown area, about 8 min walk to the closest metro station. So if you looking to be in a heart of things, this is a very remote location. We had to switch at least 2 subways to get to main attractions. The rooms are small, but clean and very cozy. The staff was amiable and helpful. The breakfast was good. The hotel has more of homey feel, and not a regular hotel. You still get first grade service. It does have a Parisienne feel to it. The bathrooms are recently renovated, and clean. The only problem we had was with the shower. Its floor is flat and water tends to leak out onto the bathroom floor. Another thing, that our room did not have a clock, which was a nuisance, since we had to get up early for the airport shuttle. They do provide shuttle to airport but it costs 36 euro, paid in cash only.

"Nice location but no noise isolation"

Great location, great breakfast, very friendly and helpful staff, very small room (but normal, it's Paris), nice bathroom. The only problem was the noise. Clients next door made a lot of noise and smoked. Lack of isolation prevented us from sleeping and we had to put up with the smell. Very unfortunate!

"Amazing hotel, Awesome staff, Loved Paris."

This is a small and wonderful hotel located very near the heart of paris. This was the first pitstop on our honeymoon trip and the staff made sure that it was a memorable one. We reached paris early morning and proceeded to the hotel where we had a standard room booked for us by our travel agent for 3 days. We reached there around 10:00 am and the staff informed us that the check-in time in paris hotels is 2:00 pm. Fortunately they provide a luggage room where we stored our luggage for the time being and went about exploring the nearby area. The streets here are a delight, lined on either side by wonderful and picturesque shops, cafes and restaurants. After a stroll we went back only to discover that our room had been upgraded. We were delighted by the hospitality. We took the elevator one at a time as it was tiny and could fit in only a single person with 2 peices of luggage. On reaching the room we still found it to be on the smaller side compared to international standards. However this is the case with all paris hotels. The room itself was impeccable and the available space was used in an excellent manner to give a nice ambience to it. A small box of chocolates was kept on our bed, which brought smile on our faces. The breakfast buffet was complimentary and the food was tasty. I would reccommend the hot chocolate which i found excellent, though one evening, when i tasted it, it had turned stale. The main lobby was small but the decor was excellent. The staff was very helpful throughout our stay and i would like to extend our gratitude to all of them. They gave us maps for paris and the metro. They painstakingly answered all our queries, multiple times. When we missed our appointed cab one day, they immediately ordered one to for us and we reached our destination on time. Kudos to the staff! Lastly, i found paris to be a wonderful city. We did not speak french but had no language problems at all. Most people were conversant in english especially in the tourist areas. The top of eiffell tower was a treat as was the seine river cruize. The louvre was something special indeed and must not be missed. Disneyland was also enjoyable. Apart from this we specially went to the Pere Lachaise Cemetary to pay homage to Jim Morrison and were pleasantly surprised to find a lot of people coming ther; it felt like a tourist spot in itself. I have never seen a cemetary so large. It took us more than half hour to look up jim but it was well worth it. The climate fluctuated between a pleasant 15 to 20 degree C and we roamed around all day in a light jacket. We loved the city and would surely love to be back here.

"No frills but clean and A+ for hospitality"
04/24/15 Sue T Moorestown, New Jersey
I arrived at around 9:30 am, well before check in time. Usually when this happens I either have to pay for an entire extra day, or I'm out wandering the streets till the afternoon. Not the case here, they had housekeeping clean a room for me straight away, and brought me coffee while I waited. the room was quite compact, but the room was quiet, the bed was comfortable and altho it took a few minutes for the hot water to come on, once it did the shower was just fine. The hotel and the room itself were very tidy, but no extras- no frig or coffee maker. There was a hair dryer. The lobby was small and quaint, done tastefully but far from lavish. They serve breakfast, but there is not a restaurant or bar on the premises. The hotel is within walking distance of the metro, a supermarket and several nice cafe's and some to die for pastry shops. No fitness center or business center-not that kind of hotel. Althogh I got the feeling if I wanted anything faxed or copied they would have done it for me. I checked out at an ugly hour, about 4am. The gentleman at the desk was kind enough to make coffee for everyone in our party while we got out act together. One drawback, if you have more than one full size suitcase you will be making a few trips in the very tiny elevator. Anyway, I often find the French to be a little snooty, but the folks running this place were awesome!

"The nicest team! Very important for a good stay!"

The hotel is nicely renovated, I like the cosiness of the first floor and my room... It's all very clean. But even more important, I have to say that I am very happy with the team. It's very very important when you stay somewhere to have people caring about their customers. That's what happen to me. If I asked something, they would answer precisely (about Paris itself or other things) and with a smile!! Thank you very much!

"Good Hotel. Great staff."

Cost of taxi from Charles de Gaulle airport €49. We arrive over an hour early receptionist very polite and welcoming. Spoke perfect English. Free tea/coffee/hot chocolate/ croissants/ cake on arrival. We were in our room by around 1.15, check in wasn't until 2 which was nice. Free wifi, you need to log in, this was provided when we first entered. The signal strength was strong (we were on the 6th floor and had 3 phones, an ipad abd a lap top working fine) Easy walk to Metro. (5minsish). There are 2 close by but the only one we used was 'Villiers' Another lady at reception was so helpful in providing us with directions, a map and recommending the best places for us to go. Furnishings are very modern, in reception and in the rooms. The bathroom is spotless with soap, shower gel ect provided. Room service came daily and left the room/ bathroom spotless. There was staff on hand 24hrs who spoke perfect English. We were just b&b this was just standard continental breakfast; pastries (a wide variety), ham, cheese, egg, cereal, toast, nutella, honey jams and yoghurt. Same/ similar each day. There were local amenities, small supermarkets, bars, restaurants, bakeries and chemists for the time you don't want to go to the centre. We went to the Indian across the road on our last night the staff there was friendly and the food was good. We also went to a restaurant (Auberge Bistro), which is on the way to Villiers Metro station from the hotel the food there was amazing! (Evening menu of 3 courses was €23) Wine and cocktails were reasonable too. Transfers back to the airport was €18pp. This was booked through the hotel, our transfer was at 5am so i'm sure they accommodate anytime. Overall would highly recommend this hotel! My sister fancies herself as a vlogger. Here's our stay in Paris there's footage from the hotal, restaurants we went to and the excursions we went on: Watch "Paris" on YouTube - Paris: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLjV2B8EVnySm_TZGJzJq4Xu95xahdWaEB
