Hotel du Continent - Paris

The hotel has a fabulous location near restaurants, shops and the Louvre. The bed was very uncomfortable and the air conditioning wasn't working. Plus there was a lot of noise from neigbouring buildings and construction. The staff were nice, though.

Hotel room was the size of a shoebox. The room had one twin bed with about two foot around the bed to the bedroom wall. The bathroom had someone elses hair on the floor and was small. Could barely move in the shower. I kept witting the control nob and turning it off or changing the temperature. When I left my room they asked that I leave the key. When […] I returned at 11 on night the door was locked and I had to ring the bell. The person working opened the door a minute later and it was clear that he was sleeping. Great location at a reasonable price. the amenities are not much. room was tidy and clean, but cramped and not all that well maintained. if you want a place to store your bags, shower and sleep; this is it. staff was friendly, wi-fi connectivity good. 1 block to metro station.

This is a small hotel, but it is a great location. We walked to the Louvre from this hotel. It is also close to the Metro, about a 5 minute walk. There was high-speed wireless, and plenty of A/C to keep the room cool. We had one problem with the room, and that was a leak in a water pipe under the bathroom sink. Small hotel with friendly staff. Good value for the location. Probably in need of a little refurbishment but for the price in this location it was what you would expect. Great location, easy walk to Place de la Concorde, Louvre, Champs Elysees and Metro lines. Small cold buffet breakfast - basic but perfect to start the day!

The location of thehotel was great and staff very helpful. Our room was small but met all our needs. We did have difficulty with the wifi. The only area of the hotel that we were able to get access was in the lobby.

Internet reception was poor on the 4th floor. Other than that, we had no other observations with this property, except that it was excellent for Paris. Great location, not far from any of the major attractions. Room was a bit small but that's normal for Parisian hotels. There's a wierd policy of having too hand in your key everytime you leave the building but apart from that a good hotel.

The hotel needed a complete reburbishment. The room had cracks in the wall. It was small and the decor, tired. The bathroom was so small that only one person could use. The shower also showered the floor and the area around the sink, dispite being over a bath. The most worrying problem was the door to the room. This is a middle-budget hotel in an area with high-budget hotels. So the neighbourhood is better than expected. The Tuileries are 2 minutes walk away, and all the major attractions are within walking distance. There are two restaurants almost next door, very reasonable and amusing (ever had cactus souffle?). This was a great hotel for a long weekend in Paris. its main benefit is its location off Rue de Rivoli, 10 mins from the Louvre 5 mins from the start of Champs Elysee. Literally most of Paris attractions are within walking distance. The neighbourhood is beautiful and upmarket. Hotel du Continent is more of a provincial hotel put in a beautiful part of Paris. Very simple rooms in this dark hotel where timed lighting may be green but ruined any atmosphere. ホテルの清潔さやフロントの方は普通なのですが、細部のメンテナンスに不備のあるホテルです。立地がよいため、利便性は良いです。しかし安全面を犠牲にする必要はないなと思い、もう次はここを選ばないようにしようと思いました。（ただ、他の部屋が以下のような状態かどうかは、私も分かりません。たまたまかもしれません。） まず宿泊した部屋の入り口のドアの建てつけが悪かったため、安全面に不安を感じました。 （ドアを閉めた時、隙間があいている…）鍵を内側から二回まわすと閉められるのですが、かちっと閉めたようにならず、どこか鍵がゆるいというかぐだぐだしているのも嫌でした。（ネジがゆるいのでしょうか…） また、窓がひとつあるのですがそこが中々閉めずらく、ちょっと壊れかけでした。 ホテルに戻ると、窓が開いていたためこ […] のことが判明しました。（おそらく、お掃除に来た方が開けた後、きちんと閉めることができなかったのでしょう…）やっと閉まった時には、バキッと嫌な音を立てていました。これ以上壊れたら嫌だったので、それ以上調べることはなかったのですが。ちなみに、閉まったものの、窓のパッキンがあまく、隙間風が入ってきていました… Read more

Ho sempre viaggiato molto fin da bambino, la mia opinione su questo hotel è positiva: sufficientemente pulito, camere piccole ma comunque confortevoli ed in stile parigino. Il personale è molto disponibile e cortese, se state cercando un hotel che sia centrale, pulito e di basso prezzo questo è l'ideale!!!
