Lovely hotel. Beautiful views. Hotel is a bit isolated, you have to drive to get anywhere, but things are pretty close. 20 beautiful minutes to beautiful beautiful Malibu. Very friendly.

Price is our first concern, then proximity to the event. Pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness of the room, and lack of any bad odors.( which we... experience at many bargain hotels) Location worried me because it backs up to the fwy off-ramp, but never heard anything. When we arrived there had been a mixup on the reservation, the hotel had not being sent the latest information from hotels.com. The peron on duty, an asian indian, was extremely rude, initially would not give us what we had reserved, (2 queen beds versus one king). He became quite arguementative and then left in the middle of sorting out the room change […] and passed it off on one of the other staff. The second asian indian was far more helpful. I found the first person exrtremely rude, arguementative and believed he felt he was somehow superior to us. If this reflects Day's Inns then I will no longer use them. Read more

The Hotel Staff were very helpful and friendly. I had a few speciasl requests upon checking in. The desk agent was very helpful in giving what I needed. The room was much larger than I expected. The bed was very comfortable. Although it was a bit cool to use the pool I did sit by and read. The pool looked inviting but it was just to cold.

For us, the hotel was very conveniently located for a visit to family in the Ventura area. We love the surrounding area with restaurants, grocery store, outlet mall etc. in very close proximity. The location was good; close to freeway, and outlet stores. The surrounding area was pretty quiet. The room was large and clean. The continental breakfast was just so-so, but overall it was a good stay and would definitely stay there again. And for the price, you can't go wrong.

The staff was extremely rude to my son and I. When we brought them our dirty towels so that we could get cleans ones after 3 days, they were rude and wanted to know why we would want clean towels. One bed had a smoke burn on the bedspread in a non-smoking room. The only reason we continued our stay was the location.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortable. Had a few problems. The airconditioner stopped working at 2am. The toilet was loose. Most of the water went down the spout instead of through the shower head. I told the staff, so hopefully they took care of the repairs.

Good neighborhood but staff not knowledgeable about restaurants or how to get there from 101 in Ventura. Wasted gas after being sent in wrong direction to find freewayt exit. Low pressure toilet irritating. Cracked washbasin & stained sheet on bed. Did not live up to Days Inn reputation.

Room had stained carpet, mold on shower curtain, towels with yellow stains. The clerk at check in had no personality. However, housekeeping staff was friendly and accommodating when we needed our room cleaned so we could dress for a wedding.

Economical Hotel with great location but, the carpets were very dirty. So much so, that the wet bathtub turned black from my feet. Carpeting was extremely dirty inside the entrance door of the room. The manager stated that they have been too busy to afford closing off a room to shampoo the rugs.

bad breakfast (cheap danish/cereal and old apples and oranges. The coffee was terrible. Loud area and our door wouldn't stay closed unless it was locked. My son went down to get breakfast while they were getting ready to close and they wouldn't let him get cereal.... I would not stay there again.

The shower was very small, which would have been OK except the shower head was so awkardly placed that it was very difficult to shower effectively. No one at the front desk ever answered when we tried to call with questions.

We appreciated the breakfasts. The room was clean and well kept. Generally the motel was showing its age, inside and out. We were gone during the day and generally there just to sleep and to have breakfast. Staff was helpful.
