When I stay at a super cheap hotel, I'm not expecting the Waldorf. However, I've paid half as much for better rooms in more expensive cities. First, if you like detachable shower heads, you'll be happy. I don't like them, and the mount for the shower head at the curtains as opposed to somewhere useful in the shower. I haven't encountered a hotel bed […] this hard since the Clinton administration. If you're staying there, try seeing if there's a pull out sofa. I didn't use the pull out sofa, but I can't imagine that it would have been worse than our mattress. If you have a health issue with tobacco smoke, be aware that the non-smoking designation from rooms seems to be largely theoretical. For our entire four day stay, our room smelled like cigarette smoke. Finally, the sign for the hotel can pretty much only be seen when driving in the wrong direction along a divided highway. My room was comfortable and clean, but it needed some maintenance. The flapper in the toilet tank did not seal properly. Consequently, water would leak and the tank would refill about every ten minutes. I had to turn the water supply off at night so the noise from the constant refilling would not disturb me. I reported the problem on my first night. […] The problem was not repaired when I left after the three nights. One of the lamps was a electrical shock hazard. It too had not been repaired or replaced by the time I left. The electrical wall sockets are so old and worn that cord plugs would easily fall out when a car drove by in the parking lot or if I walked too close to the socket - without touching it. My stay was comfortable, but a little attention to detail would go a long way to improving the overall rating of this hotel. Read more

Everything worked, room was clean, towels a little thin which, I have discovered, is not uncommon these days. I have stayed here before and will again as it is always good value.
