This hotel was the perfect location for the event I was there for. The hotel was extremely clean which I was surprised by due to online reviews, but I have to say I was very happy with my stay. If I had any complaint it was that the online registration didn't know that there's a charge per dog, the hotel manager was very helpful and understanding.

Felt the desk clerk that checked us in was completely UNHELPFUL! We had 2 rooms booked and requested the rooms be close to each other, not only were they not close, they wee on different floors and different sides of the hotel. It was awful. They were in the process of changing out tubs in bathrooms and toilet was leaking all over the floors, even got wet carpet in the bedroom. Room wasn't clean when we got in it. We were loud and there were no complaints. Went to see a Pink show at the Schottenstein center. It was very close. $60 compared to $90 but worth it. Everything was great, some things were missing, no refrigerator, microwave or hair dryer. All would have come in handy. Over all it was good.

I chose the Hotel due to it's location. It was where it was supposed to be! However, there was black mold growing on the bathroom ceiling and around the fan and the tub. Stayed there one night and we thought there were only 3-4 staying in the whole place. Rooms were clean enough and price was good. It was just a room for the night for us. Wasn't close to what we wanted, but if your there to go by Ohio State or need a room for the night for that...then your good.

I booked two rooms for 4 of us for a daytrip to Columbus to hang out/party during the OSU game (not at the Shoe itself). Though my reservation from hotels.com shows 2 non-smoking rooms, 2 of my friends ended up sharing what was obviously a smoking room. (After airing it out for a bit, it didn't reek so bad.) In our room, we turned the TV on and it + […] the lamp above it immediately shut off, plus the phone didn't have a dial tone (not as big a deal). I went to the lobby and they had maintenance there within a few minutes to fix it. All in all, not too bad considering it was the absolute last option for a hotel anywhere near OSU that weekend. We were able to walk the 1 mile to and from the campus without any trouble. (Our other choice would have been to stay downtown and pay cab fare.) Read more

First of all, the rooms were rather outdated. The Free Wireless Internet did not work well at all. The bathroom left much to be desired and the toilet would not flush and ran for hours to fill the holding tank. The rooms had an odor. I had two rooms, one had roaches scampering around in it.

There was an odd stench the room. The door to the bathroom was splintering, leaving unsmooth edges around the door knob which scratched my hand. Toilet and shower looked dirty. Bearable for just one overnight stay.

Worst hotel of my life. Convenient to campus for the OSU football game (which was amazing as always), but very poor in every other aspect. The price was affordable but not worth it. The smell was terrible. There was literally an inch of dust on the table and chair legs. There was a cigarette burn in the blanket. The bathroom door would not close. The […] bathtub faucet would shoot off when you turned on the water so it was unusable. We eventually had time to ask for a new room. They changed us. It was better but the remote wouldn't work on the TV and the damage was done. The breakfast was laughable. There was a fizz in the apple juice - just awful. Coffee was good but only muffins and juice available. Check in/out was good and friendly. It looks like they are remodeling but I was in the old part. The best was when the repair came to fix the TV remote, he couldn't figure it out. His solution was to offer to give us the key back to our old (smelly) room, watch TV there, and then come back to our room for sleep - WOW. I was a little worried due to bad reviews but for the price it was fine. The sheets and towels were clean and so was the room. Coffee maker. Small fridge. Ironing board/iron. Microwave. Close to Country Living Fair. We only stayed one night and bed and pillows were comfy.

Staff was nice but would not stay there again. Very upset that I was not informed that the pool was not working when I booked my stay. I always look for a pool when I book a room. Rooms were dirty and the air conditioner spit water in one of the rooms.

We were there four nights and had no major problems. It rained the last day and the key card would not work but the desk clerk opened the door with the key. There is nothing deluxe about breakfast. Doughnuts/Danishes, bagels, and juice. Overall we had a good stay. Staff was very kind!

We could walk to the Columbus Crew stadium and the rooms had been refurbished but it is an old motel facility with doors opening directly to the outside, the breakfast was not good and the overall appearance of the exterior and parking area was not good.
