If you want to be in the center of things in Jakarta, and not pay five-star rates for a five-star room, stay here. The room is as spacious as you get at a Marriott or the Hyatt, but it is at the price of a budget hotel. Also, with traffic a nightmare in Jakarta, you want to be centrally-located, and the sari pan cannot be beat -- halfway to Kota (chinatown) and the clubs, and to menteng down south.
