I was there on business and I was literally in the hotel for about 2 hrs total! My mom and daughter were there much more than I was...but the room was clean and beds pretty comfy! We were in the new side and it was very nice!

After viewing all the other reviews, I selected this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Restaurant for dinner is pricey but worth it. The breakfast (by voucher) is way above what you would normally see on a breakfast buffet.Will definitely stay at Best Western Plus again. White Spot Restaurant across the street is upscale and food is wonderful.

"Excellent location for walking tours"
Enjoyed my stay at this fine Hotel. The rooms I've stayed in during my two visits have had an interior view to the atrium in the mall. Lots of sunlight with complete privacy of the mirrored glass.
Great, welcoming and helpful staff. A bit hard to find with the location being in a mall and on a one way street. Parking not included, so that was a disappointing addition to the rate. Room was fine, super comfortable bed and I was upgraded without asking, nice touch. Another nice touch was FREE wireless, which you don't see much of traveling to different […] hotels. Location was great . Right in the City Centre Mall. Rooms were large. We had some guest join us between the wedding and reception. The sitting area and the wet bar were very convenient. (As compared to a regular Hotel room we would have had to sit on the bed ) The staff was very helpfull...advised us on weekend parking rate. "Anniversary date"
We were upgraded from the Standard room I had booked to a Suite room because we told front desk we were staying for one night as our anniversary date night. The front desk upgraded us for free. When we arrived it was hard to find out where the entrance was to the Hotel after mall hours from the parkade. We were happy with the price and room since they were so kind to upgrade us. Everything was great execpt the parking and after hours you have to use your card to go up and down the ellivator

For security reasons we do have to lock the elevators after hours to ensure that only hotel guests gain access to the guestroom floors. Everything was okay this time except when we wanted to use the business centre and they couldn't get the scanner working. The manager who came over was extremely frustrated and got angry with us, like it was somehow our fault that their equipment wasn't working. He was extremely rude with my wife. This is the third bad experience in a row with staff […] at that hotel. What do they say about three strikes? Looks like we might have to move to the Sutton Place or the Westin next trip to Edmonton. "A good nights sleep"
Beds were comfortable and clean.Free internet access in room. Nice fitness room, and hot tub. Rooms clean and well kept. Parking was a bit expensive, and the area of town seemed a bit seedy. Overall we would return to this property.
"Great Downtown hotel"
We showed up at 11am and they accommodated us right away. The room were very nice and staff were knowledgeable about the surroundings. Only downfall as we expected was the parking in a public lot which cost $. Overall very satisfied and will be back.

My stay was short; did not have time to enjoy amenities. Was disappointed to not find a small fridge, but in all other aspects the hotel was clean and comfortable, plumbing worked well, linens clean and comfy.

1 response by Delta Edmonton-Centre Suite HotelI was dissappointed in number of things.On arrival a dog was running unleashed on my floor and his owner playing ball with him.Tv remote was dirty sticky and dying batteries.The wireless phone in the room was real old very dirty a homeless person would not want to have it his place.The bath room tub has spots old dirty and the drain cap was not in its […] place.I struggled to put it back on so i can bath ,it got stock ,there was no sign how to release it & while i was in the shower i had to leave it fast to avoid flood in my room and my body was still soaked in soap.In this hotel I had a bad experiance wont forget in a long time. I am sorry for the challenges you experienced. While we are aware the tubs are showing their age I can assure you that we do clean them. I have forwarded your comments regarding the other cleanliness challenges to housekeeping so that they can take another look at the phones. You did not mention in your review whether or not you contacted maintenance regarding the plug so that they could fix it for you. I will however forward your comments to our maintenance team so that they can take an extra look at the plugs in the guest rooms while they do their routine room sweeps. We called 7 times throughout a 2 hour span and the staff failed to act and even attend the floor. The noise continued and was not dealt with at all. The rest of the visit was […] fine. Staff was very friendly and helpful, especially when we had left something behind after checking out. They found it and we were able to pick it up the next day. The surrounding neighborhood leaves a little to be desired in the clientelle that hangs around but that is similar in most inner city locations. Having the shopping mall attached was unique […] and made avoiding the weather very handy. As with most downtown hotels in any major city, parking is expensive and not including in the accomodation rate, thus a great deal on the room rate was in the end only a good rate when the parking was added in. Clean and modern building. Rooms are extremely quiet with a decent sized entrance room. Cool wall to ceiling glass window looking into the City Center Mall. Cute shops, downtown entertainment and endless amounts of resturants are all within walking distance and plenty of shortcuts through the mall on the cold days. First time staying there, we were very impressed at how quiet it was, even though we were right down town we never heard traffic, sirens just the odd people in the hallway when they went by. The location was great the staff was friendly, we will stay there again.
