I must say I was a little bit hessitant to book at this hotel not being familiar with the name. When we arrived and went to our rooms I was very pleased that it was basicly a small to bedroom apt complete with kitchen and dishwasher. I would definatley use this hotel chain in the future and would not hessitate recommending it to anyone.

The Sonesta is a quality motel, don't expect a hotel-like stay, but a top rated motel. I didn't realize when I booked this that all the room entrances are off the parking lot, traveling alone I prefer not to stay in places like this for safety reasons and wished I had known this ahead of time. The entrance to my room was off the back of the building […] facing an empty lot and there were long-term construction workers staying in the rooms around me. It was very quiet and the location is easy to get too. They offer free food during a reception each evening which was nice and the staff was very attentive. The room was clean but the bed was small and more like a dorm style mattress/bed than what I am used to while I am on the road. If you need an inexpensive place to stay overnight or with a family or a group the Sonesta would be ideal. If you are traveling alone, just know what you are getting into. It is what it is. We stayed at the two bedroom suite which was wonderful and clean. The breakfast was wonderful. The only complain I have is the bad reception on the TV and I can't play my DVD. I called the hotel front desk to try to get some guidance, but the guy was clueless as well. I can't connect to the internet and had to call the help desk to bypass the system. […] That was a hassle. It should be easy to connect to the internet, but it was not. Other than that, the sound barrier is very bad too. I can hear a baby screaming at 4:34 in the morning for two nights of our stay. O.k. Except I think the customer has to let hotel staff know when something needs to be fixed or improved,when they ask how was everything ? To prevent that hotel staff should inspect room 1 st. Housekeeping is a clean up crew only. Its not up to the customer to report issues with the front desk. My husband and I were searching for a new getaway from home, so we decided to try the Sonesta. Well, let me start by saying this place is definitly staying on our list! It's 30 mins from our home and finding it was easy! Location is great, directly across from shopping center ,Target in mall, so no worries about locating what you need. They also offer […] shuttle services at no cost (pre-arngmnts must be made). Our room was Extremelly clean, cozy & comfortable; everything was in place and all basic essentials provided (paper towel, toilettries, dish liq, dishes, etc), however no cable; but they did provide dvd players, so bring movies. I loved the shower head, becasue it was force adjustable (added + for me). full closet area made for easy dress & storing luggage. They also have pool & jacuzzi (warmer weather). Area Entertainment: added essential because there is a racket club in back of suites (not incld, but could prob acccess @ addt'l cost),. On the road parallel of Morehall, there are many restaurants, bowling lane, movie theater and shopping strips, so lots to do & this is within 10min of suite, so there is propably lots more to do if you venture further. Lastly, the continential brkfst, was the best yet (hot, cold, cereal & juice stations), and not to forget the staff, they were pleasant, and great to work with. Read more

The suite was spacious and clean. However, the TV's are old and the pictures fuzzy and there is only one phone in the whole suite - on the wall in the kitchen. Very inconvenient and not up to current standards in hotel accommodations. Finally, both mattresses were fr too soft for a comfortable nights sleep.

Our son is in college and we will return to PA a couple more time this year and this is where we will register to stay. Excellent stay. I went on business and my wife and kids on vacation. The check-in counter/customer service/staff were exceptionally good. The only minor issue I had was that the shower head in the bathroom is too low - I am 6'2" .

I had no big complaints. Only little things. The TV in the living room was grainy and the knob on the bathtub faucet to make the water come out of the shower head came off when I tried to pull on it. Other than that, everything was very clean and comfortable; even though its off of a busy street once the door's closed you don't hear a thing. Hotel is in good repair, all rooms are suites with full kitchen, and separate living room. Hotel area is well lit, clean and pleasant. Only downsides - old tube TVs in my suite rather than flatscreens, and a lack of nearby dining options, although this may be my lack of knowledge of the area.

We would stay at the Sonesta ES suites Hotel again!! Our experience was very positive. The moment we walked into the lobby we were greeted warmly and every effort was made to meet our needs. We were given a goody bag with water and snacks. The staff was friendly and helpful. We stayed in a 2 BR suite. It had been newly painted and was in great shape. […] The space was very comfortable and there was privacy. Each room had a TV (older model but worked fine). We needed extra blankets and when I called they responded within minutes. Each morning they had eggs, bacon or sausage, oatmeal, fresh fruit and waffles...most evenings there was dinner. The night we stayed in we had Chinese food which everyone enjoyed. They had chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate or fruit in the lobby and newspapers each day. There's a wonderful Supermarket (the nicest Wegmans I've been in) across the street where you can find most anything you need...even a place to sit and have a meal or drink! The location of the hotel was perfect for our needs and we had no problem finding it. (Look for the Diagnostic Imaging Center. It's nestled behind that building.) Read more

I needed to be in the area for a few medical procedures. The medical office suggested other places to stay as they had a 'deal' with those places for discounted rates. I did my homework and Sonesta was actually priced the same as the 'special rates' and offered a better rating on Hotels.com. One thing to mention is that this hotel requires you to climb […] staairs, and in some cases, plenty of them. When we arrived, we asked the desk to accommodate my needs of no, or few stairs. They did so without problem and without a service charge ! The room was perfect for what I needed. It was more of a small apartment than the traditional hotel room. It was close to some department stores and places for dining that were perfect, and close to main highways. I would definately stay there again, and would recommend this hotel for others staying in this area, or to others having similiar needs. Read more

This would be a great place for a long weekend or any lengthy stay. We (two adults , two teenage children) were here for a quick overnight and did not use most of the amenities. Room was clean and large (2 bedroom, 2 bathroom). Full kitchen with fridge, oven, glasses, dishes etc... While the hotel itself was good, the rooms need to be updated. The doors to the rooms have large chips of paint missing, the furniture and bathroom fixtures are old and should be replaced. Traveling with three young children is a challenge. We really appreciated the extra space of the two bedroom suite and the privacy of being able to close doors so we (the adults) could stay up later than the children. The accommodations were clean and maintained. The food at breakfast was a bit scarce due to the very full hotel (we stayed there Thanksgiving […] weekend). Next time, we will request a downstairs suite. We received a complaint from our downstairs neighbors before 8 PM, ten minutes after arriving in our room, about the children's running feet. We were already in the process of bedding and quieting them down. But I don't blame the hotel for our neighbor's grumpiness.
