We had a short stay here, in late April so the hotel was not at capacity. We stayed in a "hacienda" on the property. While the rooms were slightly outdated from a style standpoint, it was spacious with a kitchen, high ceilings, private patio and large gas fireplace. The room and property were great but the customer service even better. We mentioned […] we were there for a milestone birthday and when we returned from dinner there was a bottle of champagne and chocolate covered stawberries courtesy of the hotel. We found the prices at the restaurants very reasonable for this type of resort as well. I hope I find myself in Tucson again soon, I wouldn't even consider another hotel. Read more

I recently stayed at the Omni Tucson National Resort while in town for a friend's wedding. Everything was absolutely perfect! The room was terrific and the staff could not have been friendlier and more accommodating. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting Tucson.

The Tucson Omni is located in a beautiful neighborhood with the gorgeous mountains in the background. Our room was excellent and we loved our location on the property. The view from our back door looked out to the golf course, a pond and many ducks running around. Unfortunately, the pond was filled with dead fish. I called to have maintenance take care […] of the issue, and they said someone would come right away. Nothing was done, and I asked the following day and the pond was not touched. We had a great time at the resort. The rooms are big. Everyone at the hotel was extremely nice and helpful. The rooms are just starting to show a little wear. Not enough to keep us from coming back. We will be back. The resort is a little north of where we would have like to have been. The grounds are beautifully maintained.

For the price, this hotel needs upgrading. Curtains in the room did not block morning sunlight. The TV is from the 1990s. Rooms need to be upgraded. Getting in and out of the hotel is also difficult because of road construction all over the area.

Generally my group had an excellent experience staying here. Customer service was very good and handled issues that arose. Our first morning we woke up to no water in the shower or sinks and that was rectified in less than an hour. I was able to rent a car through the hotel very easily. My husband and I went to the Omni for one night just for a quick getaway. Everything was wonderful! The hotel staff was very friendly and quickly checked us in. The room was nice, equivalent to a W or other higher priced hotel. We were there on Christmas Day so there weren't many hotel guests, and the only restaurant open was the bar and grill, but […] the food was excellent. Our waitress was super-friendly and she gave us good service. We also enjoyed a swim in the heated pool and the finished off with a hotub. The only issue we had was that we had to go through a lot of road construction to get there and had to make many detours, but that's not under the hotel's control. This is a 3 star hotel at best. Needs major rennovation...room was very outdated. Tub had peeling & dark stains in it. Gross. Everything in room felt old & worn. Sheets had holes in them. Wouldn't stay here again.

I enjoyed the location as well as the convenience to provide a place to entertain my friends from Colorado. We stayed in a casita and were very disappointed to learn there were no on demand movies nor a DVD player. The pool was nice, service was good, restaurants good. Unfortunately, there was no gift shop to buy a book or snacks. The location near Saguaro National Park was convenient.

I'd rated it a 4+. The carpet and tub faucet should definitely be replaced. I liked the hotel a lot and was sorry we hadn't planned on two nights. The only thing wrong was the heavy drapes wouldn't close which meant the light on the patio lighted the bedroom all night. I looked for a switch to no avail. Visited in late August '12 and it was great. The only thing negative worth mentioning is tons of construction which made finding the place in the dark a little confusing. After we became familiar with it, our visit was wonderful. The room was very clean.

We checked in late because our nearby house was flooded and the front desk staff was great, sympathetic and very helpful. I truly appreciated their help. They got us checked in and settled very quickly. The room was comfortable, clean and had a great outside patio.

Great place to stay. Very quiet and secluded area outside of Tucson. The newer salt water pool was wonderful with poolside drink service. Beautiful grounds and environment. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was great except the shower was a little dirty with mildew because the floor did not drain properly and left water standing.

When my wife booked the Omni for our upcoming trip to Tucson, we were excited. We had never stayed at one before and the chain has a reputation of being one of the higher end chains. We were given a casita right on the golf course (which was beautiful and well maintained). The room was spacious but had a musty smell that made it seem as if the room […] had not been used in quite a while. The wall paper in the bathroom was peeling. The toilet was the worst part of the room. The handle had to be held down until the water went all the way down or else the flush would stop and everything remained in the bowl. Kind of gross, but even worse was that the toilet got plugged up one day for no apparent reason and they had to send maintenance. On another day, I had to call the front desk because someone neglected to open the pool gate by 7AM. In Tucson you definitely want to get in the pool before it gets too hot. The television was an old style TV and although it had a CD player alarm clock, there was no iPod dock. There are 3 restaurants in the resort but no information on them in the room. We did not eat at any of them. Our advice to the Omni would be to modernize the rooms a little bit. My wife and I were moderately disappointed but have definitely been at worse properties. We will not be getting as excited to stay at an Omni in the future. Read more
