Our room had two minor issues which we reported at checkout. (Refrigerator did not work well due to broken seal on door and toilet needed a little tightening) I will trust the hotel will address these maintenance issues. The suite was clean, comfortable and pleasing for our stay. This is always our first choice of accommodations, so much better than a standard room. The Hotel has simple elegance and a top rate, friendly and efficient staff.

We chose this hotel because it was closer to city center than most others and about half the nightly rate. The room was very clean and bed was pretty comfortable, good water pressure, etc. Furniture and linens were a bit aged but that was no problem. The ice machine wasn't working but the owner of the hotel was kind enough to fill our ice bucket out of her own freezer. Biggest problem with this room was that there was no thermostat, and it was VERY warm the second night. We were able to get the window open a little, but it was about 15 degrees warmer than we would have preferred. Very quick and easy drive to all the major shopping/dining in Burlington. Overall, this motel met our needs and saved us quite a bit of money over the other options. I would stay there again.

The free breakfast was good. The hotel itself was nice, but nothing special. Parking seemed very expensive.

"Great evening with the kids"
We were thoroughly impressed from the moment we enered the lobby. If was magnificient. The reception staff were friendly. Our room was larger than we expected and we noticed the small fridge, microwave, safe and lots of mirrors. My kids spent 2 hours at the pool and would have stayed longer had it not closed (at 10pm). "Stage West Hotel - I enjoyed my stay"
I was in a group of 5 adults. Our room smelled a bit musty, but it was clean. A little small for 5 people, but we fit and it was cheaper for everyone that way. The breakfast buffet was good. Been to the Pallazo in Las vegas, hotels in downtown toronto and also what i would call crappy hotels in the miami airport region. I must say that Stage West was a nice in between especially for the price. I guess for the money I expected a barely passable hotel. It was very clean and the room was very comfortable, very homely and not run down. Love […] the glass doors to enter the bedroom and seeing that I am a female, the vanity with the numerous lights was great for putting on my makeup. I slept very well when i was there. Could have been my home away from home. Very well maintained hotel. (not a fan of the pool though). Hotel was in a good location. The restaurant was nice and clean and the buffet breakfast was good, convenient and easily affordable. Service overall at the hotel and restaurant was very good The only complaint is the airport shuttle is on-demand. Meaning there will be a wait time for the shuttle going and coming. Factor that in your time when u need to get back tot he airport. Other than that, this is now my favourite north-american hotel. I will definately be staying there when next I travel to toronto. The location of this hotel was perfect. Easy off /on 401 and within driving distance for the subway into the downtown area. The room was very clean with microwave & fridge. Parking was secure and no charge. Fast food close by if need and the restaurant within was very good. We will use this hotel again whenever we are in the area.

Our stay at stage west was un eventful, and finally a hotel room big enough for our family of five. Wish there was comp breakfast and the air.conditioner clunked every hour or so.. but it kept the room cool. Pool with slide a big hit with the kids. Pretty much everything was on par or above what we expected. Thought location would be out of the way […] but found it within ten to fifteen minutes from everything we wanted to see. This hotel is a good bet only for travelers with a car and a prior knowledge of Toronto. It is very isolated in an industrial area; There is no place to eat in walking distance exceptthe hotel's expensive dining room and a Mc Donald's. Every other eating venu reauires a car. "Good Value"
Room was neat not the most updated but it was clean enough. The pool and water slide were fun for my 11 year old. Location to 401 was great. So overall it was a nice place to stay outside of Toronto.

Arrived after midnight as arranged. There was no offer to help with my bags. Called for room service at 10 p.m., left a message. After 20 minutes called another number only to discover there was no room service after 10 0'clock even though the services guides specified room service available till midnight. Purchased 2 rooms at the same time but the […] prices varied. Was supposed to get a 10% discount for a two night stay but this room was more expensive than my other room where the occupants were staying only one night. Read more

"Hotel needs updating"
We were returning from a 3 wk vacation in Asia and thought we were getting 2 rooms in the suite - it turned out the sitting area was just a corner off the main sleeping area. The beds were comfortable and the restaurant was handy and all employees were friendly and accomodating. Everything in the room needs refreshing, updating except the mattresses. My stay at Stage West as usual was very comfortable. The room is clean and very spacious. The staff was very accomodating. I asked to extend my stay one more night and I had no problem in doing so. I was also able to keep the same room, which was nice not to have to move all my things. The next morning however, the front desk was a bit annoying. At […] 10am they started calling my room to see when I would be checking out. Check out is not until11am so I didn't understand why they were bothering me. That was the only negative about my stay. I travel to the Toronto area quite often and this is where I choose to stay. If you are looking for a hotel close to downtown though, this is a bit far unless you have a car. It's convenient to the 401 which takes you downtown, but it takes about 15 - 20 minutes if traffic is moving well. All in all it is a very nice room and hotel for the money. Read more
"We checked out early"
Our stay was so bad at this hotel that we check out a day and a half early. We didn't even care about the money we lost doing so we just had to get out of that hotel. 1) the queen room was way too small for 4. 2) the sofa bed was lumpy and falling apart. 3) the in-door pool was super cool and mucky 4) the spa was too hot and looked like it needed cleaning. 5) […] there were never any towels. This hotel was cheap on towels for the pool area and the rooms. We checked in with 4 people and they give us 2 towels. 6) then room service clean the room the next day and again only left 2 towels, I had to go and request more towels. 7) the room smell of moldy shoes, and bathroom tub keep clogging. The room was clean. and everything was easily accessible, the stores, restaurants, and close to the airport. Loved the stay there and I would stay there again. The price was right! The corrider carpets needed to be changed or cleaned. Too much carpet deodizer.

I travel to the Toronto area often and stay at Stage West each time. The rooms are large, clean, and very comfortable. I like not having to pay for parking as well. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the 401 for the short drive to downtown Toronto.
"Great Room for the Money"
Rooms are spacious and clean with separate living area including pull out sofa bed for extra person. Clean bathroom. Courteous staff. Didnt get to try the great indoor pool area with huge slide. Will stay in this hotel again on our next trip up north.

Desk staff were not pleasant and the bed was very hard but generally for an overnight stay it was close to main transportation arteries and amenaties were good. vending machines were all empty so we had to go out of the hotel for snacks for my son

We simply wanted a hotel near the airport to stay at before leaving on a trip and that had a shuttle. The suite was very nice with space for 5 of us, and as a bonus it had a pool. "Almost Perfect"
It was the second time using Stage West. We use it for parking and staying overnight after returning from a vacation. The price was right,the rooms neat and clean. It is nice to have a coffee or tea in the room while getting ready to head home. Service and shuttle service is a REAL BONUS. "Stage West"
I was overall satisfied with the hotel, however the reason I picked this hotel was because I was traveling with my two children. The hotel has a pool and waterslide. Once I got there I was told that the slide is only open on Fri afternoon and Saturday and Sunday. Had I known this I would have looked elswhere.

"The room was nice and that is all"
Our room was exactly like the pictures, clean, relaxing and just how we expected it to be. The slide at the pool was closed. Menus and information in the rooms need updating as they say room service is available until midnight and restraunt is open until 11pm when it is actually 10pm. We had to go down the street to Boston pizza for dinner due to the […] misleading info. In our room there was a breakfast menu that said to hang on the door before midnight to have breakfast delivered in the morning. We did so right away. After midnight it was still there so we called to make sure they were still picking them up. Come breakfast time it was still hanging on our door! Very disappointed in their service! Read more

never had a issue booking for a room when we travel on our yearly trips. so close to the airport, awesome shuttle to and from the airport, and a great place to leave the car while you are gone. they are they as quick as possible to pick you up from the airport and it is nice to come back to a nice room to crash after the late flights . very clean and […] nice. this is where we go every year now and the price is very good for what you get as a service!! can't wait to book for next year!!! My daughter loved the slide, and the shuttle to the airport was fast and efficient. Great rooms, but they could use more luggage carts. We will return.

The hotel was a bit awkward to get to. Once you knew where it was it was easier but not easily accessible from the 401 highway eastbound. The room looked like the picture from their webiste and it was nice and clean but you can tell the age of the hotel. The carpets in the hall were drab and worn and the ice machine did not work on my floor so had […] to go up three floors. The rooms were comfortable and the convenience of a bar fridge made it easier. "not happy"
we picked this hotel totally based on the fact they had a waterslide, the waterslide attendant told us the ladder had to be replaced for safety and to come back later in the evening, the ladder was not replaced and the pool was over chlorinated and ate our bathing suits... was just horrible especially when travelling with children. I hated it.
