Some of the staff was amazing, others not so much. The biggest disappointment was coming back to the room after a long day out to find that they had not cleaned the room. Stayed here and across the parking lot at the Holiday Inn Express. The two hotels have identical layouts. The HIE has a little bit nicer room but for the price difference the Fairfield Inn is where I will be staying next time I'm in town.

Breakfast was great! The hotel can more insulation to dull out noise, a larger pool & our non-smoking room smelled of older smoke (vintage 90's). Overall, it was fine, you get what you pay for.

I was very dissatisfied with our stay. I booked a room for myself and one for my parents, it clearly states on my conformation One King Bed and One sleeper Sofa Bed in each of the rooms. We received regular King beds only, nothing additional. I also booked a smoking room for my parents but once we were at the hotel we were told that they did not provided […] smoking rooms. Then why was I able to book one? Also it states that they have a exercise facility and hot tub. NO they do not, you have to go across the street to a partner gym that allows guest to use their facilities. Who the heck wants to do that? Then when we got up the next morning neither of our rooms had hot water. Did not enjoy taking a cold shower. Breakfast was between 6 and 9. We went down at 8:20 and there was basically nothing but cold cereal and bagels left. When we asked when they were putting out anything else we were told that they were shutting breakfast down and was no longer service everything else. So we went to McDonald's. Overall I will never stay in this establishment again. I defiantly will not be recommending it. Read more

Room was very comfortable, both beds and linens, and quiet. Indoor pool very nice and clean. Terrific breakfast. Room did not have a frig or micro as not all rooms do, but there was a micro downstairs. I would for sure stay here again and so many yummy restaurants and good shopping very, very close to hotel.

up until 4:30 friday april 13 we were fairly satisfied.then the front desk placed at least 3 10 year old children in room 302 the room above us.we complained & were assured they would be calmed down.we returned to our room about 8pm after a business meeting ,& complained two more times.at 10:43 i called again to complain before the desk moved them.

We were running late the morning we left and in such a rush to check out that my husband and I forgot our chargers were plugged into the wall by the desk. When we remembered only a few hours later and on our way home we called the hotel to see if they had been found. We were told that they would check into it and call us back the next day. They never called so I called them again. The gentleman I talked to was very friendly about it and said that he had searched the room, and looked in the lost and found, but they had not been turned in, however if they were found they would ship them to us. We never got them back so I assume that whoever cleaned the room after we left took them because they would have had to of seen them while they were cleaning and we were not gone long enough, nor was the hotel busy enough for the room to have been given to another guest in that time. The first night our room had standing water in the bathroom. We told the staff, and we were given a kingsized bed room which was definitely much nicer that the two queen roomand I would stay there again. I would not recommend the two queen bed room though.

they are popping up everywhere, even across the parking lot from each other and they are all the same. I would recommend a workout facility on site, not at Golds and a Hot Tub. Oh, by the way we never got hot wated in the shower. Otherwise it served it's purpose as a place to sleep fro a couple of nights.

With all the competition around this location I would think this hotel would step it up. The lobby was small and uncomfortable. There was black paper up over the windows. I checked in around 5:30 PM and asked the young man at the counter where the breakfast area was located and he didn't know. Turns out it was in an adjoining room, also with black paper […] over the windows. I went up to my room and was overwhelmed by the smell of tuna fish when I opened the door. The floor around the door and in the bathroom was soft (I was on the second floor) and creeked and sunk underfoot with each step. It sloped dramatically. I checked the trash cans for any food trash that was left behind and there was trash left from the last guest, but no food. I tried to turn on the TV and it wouldn't come on. I tried the button on the set and the remote and it wouldn't come on. I plugged and unplugged it three times and it finally came on. The curtains hung down in front of the air unit and completely blocked the air. The furnishings and decor was outdated. In the bathroom there was a big black stain in the tub and in the sink the drain cover was broken and splintered. In the indoor pool area it was apparent that they had a hot tub at one time and had filled it in. I asked the man at the desk for directions on my way out for the evening and he had no idea how to even get to the turnpike or the names of the highways in the area. It was quiet overnight, not a lot of noise. The mattresses were very comfortable with lots of pillows on the bed made with different fillings. The breakfast selection was very good. All sorts of pastries, yogurt, cereal, a waffle maker, toast, fruit, juice, biscuits and gravy, milk, quiche, etc. The breakfast room was very small though and had no television so it was awkward basically sitting at the same table with a stranger watching and listening to each other eat. We were on the first floor and the guests above us paced across the room late into the evening and early the next morning. There was a school group in the hotel which probably accounted for it. I suggest anyone staying here request the second floor!
