Overall the hotel was great! Had an indoor pool, Saturday night happy hour and had an awesome free breakfast with tons of selections. I would recommend this hotel for families as well as busines travel.

We love staying here. It is very comfortable and they were very accommodating to us. The first room they gave me had a very funny odor and I could not stand it so they let me go check out other rooms and decide where I wanted to be. They were all very kind. We would stay there again in a minute!!!

We purchase two nights in this hotel and I paid for a room with two beds because were total of four people two adults and two kids. And when I got to the hotel they told me that we have rooms only with one bed, I showed them my reservation on my phone and that I purchased two nights with two beds in the room and I explained to them that I wouldn't do […] that if I knew that it's only one bed because I have two kids with me. The hotel is located near the 55 Freeway & SNA Airport. The staff was friendly, daily breakfast was exceptional. Unfortunately, the rooms are past their prime. The bed mattress were comfortable, the sofa bed mattress was so bad that even my 11 yr. old couldn't sleep on it. The room smelled of old cigarette smoke and damp mold. The only way to cope with […] it was to leave the windows open but then you had to put up with the freeway & airplane noise. The housekeeping staff needs a lesson in attention to details. One of my mirrors was never cleaned, there was a large splatter of toothpaste from a prior guest that remained our entire stay and there was a 8 inch black mold spot at the base of the bat tub behind the door. Had we not been with a large group, I would have left. We stayed 5 nights, after the 3rd, I had to ask to get the floor vacuumed. Room 935 that supposedly had new carpet. The horrible smell was not new carpet, my guess is years of recirculated air with out introducing fresh air. In need of new paint, flooring, furniture, drapes and a new ventilation system. Needs a housekeeping staff that preforms basic services. The mold, dirty mirror and toothpaste splatter were easy to see. Read more

Booked a room with 2 queens on this website, paid extra to make sure that we got 2 beds for the 3 of us staying the night. Upon check-in, we're told in a terse manor that booking a room on this website "DOES NOT GUARANTEE" that the hotel actually has the room you booked even though you might have paid extra to get that type of room. Our reservation […] on this website lists in the fine print, it was pointed out to us, that our "Room Preference Cannot Be Guaranteed." "Next time, Book directly through the hotels website." they said. We were given a room with 1 bed and a very very uncomfortable pull out sofa. We were offered an additional "mattress," if you consider a 3 inch piece of foam bedding a suitable replacement, to go on top of the slightly broken, slanting, and highly uncomfortable pull out bed along with some extra sheets. We had no choice but to make the best of it. The room was a bit musty and old. There is construction currently happening on the top floor, so I imagine they will eventually get to the other floors. They did not have my room preference of 2 double beds nor did they have roll aways. With 4 adults, it was a little hard to make the king bed and sofa bed work. Good thing we like our 19 yr old daughter since she had to share the king bed with us.

This stay started off bad. The shuttle was supposed to take 15-20 min. I waited 40 before calling, they forgot about me I guess. I had to wait almost an hour total when it was very cold out. Then the entire hotel was freezing, I had to get extra blankets for my bed and was still cold. The front elevators were closed, so the ones in the back of the hotel […] were the only ones available. Convenient location but could use some updates. One set of elevators not working at all, the other set were very slow. Breakfast was OK. Atrium was beautiful. My room face the freeway which was very noisy but when I asked to be moved the staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. My new room wasn't much better however. Shower was OK. No heat or […] AC though, they only turn it on when it reaches a certain outside temp. I was a little chilly a couple nights. So overall no major complaints. Room was clean, staff was nice. Let me check in early. Complimentary breakfast the TV in the room displayed 10:30, when I went down for breakfast at 10am, everything was being put away. A large group of children came into the hotel, we had kids running up and down the hallways, knocking on the door, running throughout the hotel, wet, no shoes, and playing […] in the elevators. I tried getting on one elevator and as soon as it opened the kids inside pushed the door to close. No parents in site. They regulate the heat and air conditioning, the temperature outside was in the low 40's and the heat was not turned on, instead they gave us a small space heater for the room. They also had a large party on the floor above us and did nothing until 2:30 in the morning. Only good thing there is the breakfast.

This hotel looks beautiful from the outside but it is out dated on the inside. The heating system of the room was unbelievable, I was not able to get the heating working in my room. I called the front desk and they explained that their heating system would not get warm until 11:30pm, this was not due to a breakdown but that was just how it worked. So […] they said they would send a space heater up to my room. Well 20 minutes go by and no space heater. I had to go to the front desk and get my space heater. We enjoyed the swimming pool and beautiful atrium. Our laptop computer that was left behind, was turned in and we picked it up a few days later. It was clearly indicated on my reservation that I will have a room wih two queen beds, to our surprise we were givien a room wih one king bed and a sofa bed that was worst than sleeping on the floor. In addition there were no extra blankets in he room, however the staff was nice enough to provide use wih couple of very poor quality blankets. We did […] get a room with two queen beds for the third night but the washroom was in dreadful condition with urine on he toilet seat. On our request a cleaning person came and did clean the washroom in front of us and it was a terifying experience as she used a wet owel to clean he toilet seat and than use the same owel to clean the sink and counter. This was absolutely unacceptable, we took the cleaner (disinfectant) fromn the cleaning person and properly clean the washroom. My advice is to carry your own cleaning supplies if want to to stay at this hotel. Read more

Waitresses and bartenders in the restaurant were fantastic! They were very nice and checked up on us and the service was fast and they had delicious food. The pool room was out of towels a lot and the jacuzzi jets did not work. Fitness equipment was poor and some did not operate.

Sleeping on the sofa bed was close to impossible. The condition of the mattress was something I would have thrown out a long time ago. There was a huge slump in the middle of the bed. The Embassy Hotel is super big! and nice!, has an outdoor feel with the indoor comfort. Lobby was elegant, & the people at the front desk are friendly and helpful. waterfalls, streams of water, KIO fish swimming everywhere. Executive suite was sweet! Two room, two flat screen T.V.'s, Mini fridge, microwave, double coffee maker, cold A.c., comfy pull […] out couch, balcony with a nice view, only down side was there was NO HEAT! they have a sign above the Heater switch that reads something like "were on a two pipe line system so only every other floor has heating, and the rooms that have heating dont have A.c." so being that it was winter, the room was super cold, but we called the front desk & they offered a space heater for our comfort, as small as the space heater was it surprisingly worked very well.. swimming pool is heated, but not super warm & the Jacuzzi was super hot, maybe a little to hot, after about 15-20 mins me & my husband had to get out before we passed out lol. Cocktail hour in the lobby was nice, free drinks for two hours! I spotted a casino area down in the lobby, a bar and grill, fitness area, computer room, theres really no need to go anywhere once your checked in, its an all in one package! Breakfast was so awesome! Omelet station, hot bar buffet with scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, seasoned potato's, oatmeal, pancakes, pastries, donuts, muffins, Fresh fruit, coffee station, Juice station, food @ every corner! & it was all excellent! 5 stars. lots of fun! The room smelled of cleaning fluid. They obviously cleaned the carpets in the room earlier as the coffee table and chairs were still on the couch when I arrived. Then only luke warm water in the shower in the morning. I won't be coming back here again

We were only going to stay at Embassy Suites at the beginning of our trip to California but changed our minds when we arrived at our time share and compared it to Embassy. Even though we knew we would lose money and our week it was worth it to go back there where we were comfortable. We lost money and had to spend more but it was worth it!

The coffee & supplies were not re-stock on our 3rd day and on our 4th day they didn't even clean our room, make our bed or change out the towels. I thought I was staying at a rinky-dink joint. Plus on 2 different days they didn't have towels in the Pool/Jacuzzi area, even after requesting them.
