I had an early morning flight and figured it would be most convenient to stay at the airport. Staying on site enabled me to return my rental car early, and get extra sleep by being on site. We pre-payed for the room and were then asked to give a $200 deposit for things we might use while in the room on arrival. This policy should be stated more clearly and so should the fact that if you use a debit card you may not get your deposit back for some considerable time! There was some construction going on, so it was kind of tight navigating the elevators with luggage. Our room was very spacious and clean. It was quick and easy to check in, and there was water and free wi fi. There were some people in the hall at night that were loud, but that wasn't anything the hotel could have helped. The proximity to the airport […] was key here. There is a breezeway that connects you from the hotel to Terminal 3 (which was where we flew out of) so it couldn't have been easier to get to the airport from here. Very convenient location, quiet, nice updated rooms. Checkin was prompt and everyone was very friendly despite the late hour. My only complaint- nothing says that there are two terminals and which one the hotel is across from. This was a nice hotel, especially considering we did not have to leave the airport to get to it. Our room was nice, but there was a good deal of noise as we were in a room by the elevator, but we were so tired it didn't bother us. Also of note, had walked in from airport to get a room and the price was going to be $189. Had checked it on Hotels.com […] and it was $98. You can't beat a hotel in Terminal 3 when you have an early morning flight the next day. Although only one elevator was functional -- making for some long waits and tightly packed trips up/down -- everything else in the hotel and room was functional and in good shape. While the rail service between terminals is out of order due to maintenance, the bus shuttle between Terminal 3/Hotel and Terminal 1/Flight was convenient, even at 4 AM. Since I had a negative experience in the hotel restaurant at a PREVIOUS STAY, I went across to the terminal and got a sandwich from Tim Horton's to take back to my room for dinner -- easy solution! For the price of the room, I think in-room internet access should have been free, but it wasn't (something like 10 dollars/hour). Under the same circumstances, I would definitely stay here again. We stayed here for Memorial Day weekend - in town for a wedding. Hotel was easy to get to and located right in the airport across from terminal 3. The staff was very accomodating, friendly and helpful. Cleaning staff did an excellent job, the rooms were spotless and bathrooms were clean. There is a Bell Man working there who was extremely pleasant […] and helpful when carrying our bags. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I would consider staying here again if revisiting Toronto in the future. **Note: This hotel does not own a parking garage. The sound on the TV did not work. After trying for a while I just turned it off and went to sleep. Price was a little high but the location was convenient. From the bag claim customs area it was frustrating to try and find the hotel. No signs no directions on website. I would think that you could place at least one sign saying Sheraton Hotel ticketing […] level. There were some signs in the ticketing area however you had to already know where to go to find them. The airport guy at the information booth was totally misleading. He said three doors down elevator to third floor. Three doors down no elevator. Elevator 2 doors down only 2 floors. Better directions would have been take escalator up to ticketing (10 ft behind the booth) and look for signs. Your directions show how to drive to the hotel. However none for how to find it when you come in on an airplane. Arriving at an airport and walking through the maze of customs hamster tubes leaves people disoriented.
