We travel a lot and stayed at this hotel for work reasons. We will avoid it next time. Somethings they don't tell you: there is a train track just right by the hotel and the train runs every few minutes well into the night. Very noisy during the day, to the point you can't here your own tv. The room is a nice size but it is not really clean, there is […] accumulated dust on fixtures, corners and furniture. We were coming home for a funeral of a family member and needed someplace convenient to our family. This was perfect for convenience. The hotel was clean. The rooms could use a bit of maintenance, but overall they were neat and clean. the staff was very pleasant and friendly. We would definitely stay there again!

I suspect this motel may not be with Days Inn brand for long. Located next to the railroad tracks that separate Massachusetts from Pawtucket, a brief walk reveals it is in a fairly transient neigbhorhood. The desk people were very genuine and I stayed there only because of them, but the the hotel is not safe. The external doors were not only unlocked, […] they were left wide open all night. I thought the room smelled awful. the sheets had stains on them. There was a dirty tissue under the bed. The bathroom floor was dirty. I was afraid to sleep in the bed incase of bed bugs.

For the cost and the location we needed to be, it was okay. Relatively quiet, located across from convenience store, beds were comfortable. The room was a smoking room, containing 3 ashtrays for the small room(stunk of smoke ) .Several towels appeared to be dirty in the bathroom . On 1 bed I found part of a broken guitar string which could have easily caused an injury . Overall would never stay again !

The Hotel hallways smelt like a urinal..The minute you opened the door ther was a fould odor. If I would have known better I would not have stayed there. They were accomadating but rude when told of the request made by your company. They stated that you did not have the right to make the suggestion of a late check-out.

Hotel location was definitely less than stellar. Room smelled terrible, tv only got one channel, and alarm clock didn't work. Bed was fairly comfortable, and towels and bathroom were clean. Train went by several times durning the night, making it hard to sleep. Definitely would not stay here again.

The hotel is designed so that the rooms face the parking lot, but there is an enclosed breezeway separating the room doors from the outside. This definitely helped keep the outside noise level down. Hotel is close to highway and main road...and you can hear the traffic at all hours. Especially trailer trucks. Hotel could be updated a bit, and some repairs in the rooms are needed, but if you are just there for a night, it isn't so bad.

It's not the Ritz, but it's OK. Clean, reasonably quiet, and priced right. Great Rubens 3 blocks south at the Celtic Pub. I visit Providence once a year for a sporting event. I stayed at this Days Inn, then in a Center city Providence hotel the next year, decided I'd save the money from then on.

We werent familiar w/ Mass so we booked a known name hotel since we were only staying two nights for a sporting event. Hotel was ran down. Baseboard heat was either to hot or not on. Bed was comfortable. Remote and tv was outdated and didnt work at times.

We woke up with small bites all over, learned there were bed bugs. They switched us to a new room and did not have any problems. The train goes by on one side of the Hotel which is noisy. Staff was very nice but would not stay again.

The first time we stayed at this hotel for one night we asked for non smoking, but obviously there was someone in there smoking and the room was on the second floor and near the middle of the hotel where the outside ashtray was stored. I have allergies and the room had a bad odor inwhich my sinuses clogged up all night. We had to have the air conditioner […] on most of the night which made a lot of noise. The room, floor, bed, shower was all clean. It took us a while to figure out the television system and still had trouble with it. We couldn't find any instructions, and the batteries were weak. The staff was pleasant and the breakfast was doable with breads, donuts, cereal, juices and coffee. Two weeks later we stayed again for one night. We had a room on the first floor way at the end of the hotel. The air quality was far better than the first one. However, upon entering the television screen glowed "snow" and we just thought the cleaning people left it on. Again the place was clean, but when we went to turn the television off, it would not turn off. We tried every combination of buttons and the power button. We couldn't reach the outlet to unplug it, so luckily one of us had a black sweatshirt to cover it up for the night. We may have been tolerant, but I am sure the next customers may not be. We stayed only because it was a mile or two from a family member who needed us close by and it was cheap. As the saying goes "you get what you pay for". I would not choose this hotel for a vacation or for a restful place to stay. For a one night, just a sleep over night, it was managable, but I would not recommend it to friends. We laugh about it now and it will always have a story of the smelly room and the tv that didn't turn off. Read more
