Stayed here two nights to explore Bruges. The hotel is fairly basic, but offers all you need for a good price and exceptional location. The customer service was also great. Good value, clean, huge room, allowed us to check in early, reasonably centrally located. Doesn't take long to walk anywhere in the centre of Bruges. Only comment is this is quite an old Ibis that could do with a refurbishment, but its still clean and functional, and would stay here again

The room was really nice and perfectly clean. The bed was comfortable and bigger than myself and my girlfriend are used to so that was a plus. The house keeping services left clean towels and new toilet paper outside of the room because we had the Do Not Disturb sign up for the day. The only qualm I had was that the food and drink in the Hotel's bar […] and restaurant were unnecessarily expensive. They charged €3.50 for some sauce with the steak which wasn't that big or delicious to begin with. The desk staff were really friendly and helpful though so I would say that overall it was a really good stay for what we paid. Read more

A really nice hotel, centrally located in Bruges and perfect for walking into the centre. The car park is almost underneath the hotel, so minimal fuss to arrive and depart. I'll definitely be staying there again!

The hotel is nice, though not exceptional. It is in a very good location to explore Bruges. The standard is average for a chain hotel such as the Ibis, the rooms are modern, clean and tidy as you'd expect. There are no tea/ coffee making facilities in the rooms.

A good standard, economy hotel in a central location in Brugge, no more than a few minutes walk to most of the tourist sites. No frills; no problems; very helpful front desk. The slight smell in the corridors and lobby reported on by previous reviewers is apparently from the nearby canals! It's not offensive and is absent from the rooms.

Right in the centre of town and a very nicely situated hotel. If you're driving then the car park is pretty much next door to the hotel, tucked underground, you barely t even know it's there - great value at 8 Euro per day. Hotel is basic, small room but very clean - good shower (albeit quite small) but you get what you pay for. I went with the Mrs […] and friends - all we wanted was a bed in the centre of town and this was perfect for just that. Didn't buy brekkie at hotel, plenty of brekkie places right next to hotel. The hotel is located in a small square opposite the Novotel. Taxi from Central Station cost 7 Euros. The square is incredibly clean and tidy as is the rest of Bruges. the location is a short (and interesting) walk from the main square and shopping/restaurant areas. Check in was ridiculously easy, no faffing at all and very helpfull staff who were […] prepared for our arrival. The decor and facilities are bright and modern. Only complant from the wife is that ther was no power socket in or adjacent to the bathroom to plug in her hair straighteners, oh well. Bed and bedding was very comfy and the room well equipped with remote TV. Our room was very quiet and free from road noise or activity in adjacent rooms. The 24 hour Bar was well equiiped and reasonably priced. We didn't use the restaurant but the front of house looked very comfortable and modern. I'm struggling to find any negatives at all, I've paid a lot more money for a much poorer hotel experience. We had a great time and would be happy to visit the Ibis Centrum again. Read more

Rooms are on the small side and if you expect a twin be prepared to have to separate the beds yourself, though there isn't much room to do so. Toilets are likewise and the bath would only be useful for a child or as a shower. That said it was clean and tidy. Just one night, and no meals taken, but the hotel is ideally situated to see beautiful Brugge: a short walk from the historic World Heritage Site centre. Parking is available right under the hotel at an extra charge - you get used to this fairly hefty extra in Belgium and Holland. No complaints at all.

Fab location, rooms were excellent and staff welcoming and helpful. Underground carpark right at hotel (reasonably priced) was most convenient. If you get a room alongside the road you will here noise at night due to cars (not many!) driving down along the cobbles but this didn't affect us. Very central, excellent base to explore the beautiful city […] of Brugge. Would have had breakfasts there, but their price for continental brekkie was way too expensive and plenty of nice little places nearby. (Suggest Ibis should charge a little less for breakfast - you would get more customers!). Overall, enjoyed my stay would recommend and can't wait to go back there sometime. Read more

Great location, car parking, helpful reception in any language, lovely hotel and supermarket just oposite to it. Just few minutes walk from any atraction, coffe shops, chocolatiers, lace, boats, cathedral, etc. We go often to Brugge and I will go again to Ibis if I find a good deal again.

Great hotel location (right near the town centre) and excellent value. Slightly let down by noisy room (downside of central location) and at best okay beds. Would definitely return, buy would hope for a room on the opposite side of the hotel.

Title says it all, standard issue IBIS hotel, good clean fairly comfortable resonable rates. Water was hot, shower was good, bar had a fair selection of drinks. The location is excellent for Brugge centre and there is parking. My group were travelling by Motorcycle and we were able to park right outside the Hotel in an off street 'Plaza' area, there […] were some other bikes that also, no worries about security as the bikes could be seen from reception. 5 mins walk into town. For a value for money stopover or weekend break great place. There is a Novotell opposite on the same plaza if this was fully booked, same parking deal. Read more

On our booking it stated a non smoking room but on arrival the room smelled of smoke unfortunately the hotel staff took our booking papers so we were not sure if we had asked for non smoking so did not complain. it is only since coming home and checking our email that we find we did book a non smoking room. We arrived an hour early at this hotel and were surprised that our room was ready, however when we got to our room it was most definitely not ready, it had not been cleaned, dirty towels on the floor and the bed obviously slept in and a mess. We left our bags and went back down to reception, we said that we were going to go straight out and get some […] food and would be back in two hours, and would be happy for the room to be cleaned in our absence! Reception promised this would be done! We went for our lunch, but i was unwell so we returned after 2 1/2 hours and again went to our room which had still not been cleaned, on route to reception we noticed the cleaner and stopped him, he apologised that it had not been done and suggested we went back to reception, he telephoned reception, and said he would clean room now, he would be half an hour! We went back to reception, as it was busy we decided to have a drink at the bar,,,,,waited 10 mins and no one came to serve us, by this time i was feeling more unwell so we went to sit outside for ten minutes, after which we came went back to the bar, still no service and eventually my wife went back to reception, and they said oh your room is ready now! Later that evening we noticed the 15 minute rule card , any problem not solved in 15 mins, and we would be the hotels guest! When we asked about this we were given several excuses as to why this didnt apply to our problem. The manager was to ring us on our return home, no call!!! Read more
