Not bad unless you have to have 5 star rating. I was impressed. Staff was friendly and kept it Clean. Breakfast was good. Always love waffles! Room smelled like smoke, but it was a smoking room. Pool and hottub a plus. Would go back.

The room was okay. It was just off the Ohio turnpike, which made it convenient for a stopover. The only drawback was that the room faced railroad tracks about fifty feet outside the window. Luckily only one train went through during the night. A little noisy.

The bedding had hair on it and didn't appear to be very clean or freshly made. There were questionable spots on the sofa. It was loud there with a train right behind our room and people running in and out of their rooms at all hours of the night so no sleep. This hotel is about 15 miles from Cedar Point. Not bad whatsoever. We got the rooms for a great rate. And for what we paid we were very pleased. Basic breakfast (hot waffles and your normal continental fare) Free Wi-Fi. I really can't complain. I thought it was good all around.

Average hotel, staff not all that friendly, about 15/20 mins from Cedar Point. If you're just interested in going to the Amusement Park this is not a bad choice, although there are other hotels in Sandusky that are nearer. Nice pool.

Staff was very helpful. Beds were too small for one adult and one child. No way 2 adults could share a bed. They seemed to be twins at best. Towels were a dingey gray. Which was a first too see in any hotel. Hotel suited our needs for 2 nites while visiting Cedar Point.

First impressions are everything-the hotel owner was rude-we arrived early-she said-no rooms clean-come back at 3:00!!! This is after 5 hours on the road with 2 special needs kids. However, there is a nice American lady that works there-that was just lovely-and very accomodating.The linens are like cardboard-the rooms are dated-the carpet in the halls […] are filthy and original to the hotel. The contrast is the indoor pool-it was realy nice-clean. It was close to Cedar Point-. For the price, its a great place to stay for 1 night. Rooms have everything you need, are clean and, for the most part, quiet. The place is in need of some repairs in the rooms and the pool area. The hot tub didn't even have any real jets blowing the water. The lights on the walls in the room were ready to fall off. The only nice thing I can say about the hotel is that the other guests that were staying there were very nice. The room Had NUMEROUS problems. The air conditioner made the room cold,but humid, the exhaust fan in the bathroom didn't work, the bathroom lock didn't work, the room safe didn't work, We had to get 2 new keycards to open our room all 3 days […] we were there because everytime we came back to the hotel they didn't work. They didn't clean the room one day. My son threw-up in the middle of the night our second night so we cleaned it up as best we could and let the front desk know the next morning that our room hadn't been cleaned that day (which we didn't get back till around 11:30 that night) and that my son had gotten sick on the floor and that we laid a towel over the spot we had cleaned up so they could give it some extra attention or shampoo it and got back that following evening to a cleaned up room that smelled funny. They cleaned everything else,but never shampooed that spot. We have stayed at Days Inn hotels before and always had good,clean rooms and nice experiences,but this was horrible!!! Read more

We thought it was a rather scary place in a scary part of town. Many non guests milling around outside. Breakfast was fair and it was close to the interstate but the negatives far overshadowed the positives. I will not be a repeat guest.

Employees were helpful and friendly but the room was a little dirty. The back of the toliet wasn't cleaned and the toliet paper wasn't refilled. A pillowcase had what looked like a red stain (koolaid or some beverage) on it. The room temperature was hard to regulate with the air conditioning unit. Location was right off Ohio Turnpike, very easy to locate. About a 15 minute drive to Cedar Point. Seeing as we stayed for 5 days, probably should have gotten a room closer to park but for the price of room it was worth it. Pool was very clean. Morning breakfast was good just a little busy.
