"Not so great"
A hotel in need of an update. Just worn out. Great location, though, for my visit. Challenging parking, make-your-own coffee, old fixtures and finishes, a few items left from previous lodger. There has to be something better in this area for $100.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Was adequate for one night stay, older facility in need of updating very noisey ac system bad shower heads, staff friendly and inexpensive for area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It does the job."
A decent inexpensive hotel that has clean rooms and is in a central location. We stayed there for another event and this seems to be a good choice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice hotel. But the attendant was very rude. The bathroom had hair when we arrived.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great area, clean room!"
I was there just for the night, it was comforting, clean, parking was easy, room was clean, and bathroom was huge. I had breakfast in the cafe downstairs, it was decent, and very affordable. The only downside was they do not allow pets (even my 4 pound Yorkie) but other then that I will be staying again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very comfortable room/mini suite"
Nice place in the heart of Korea Town. Hotel staff is very friendly. Good deal on the breakfast. Not much available in their "store"Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not as bad as some of the reviews"
It was inexpensive and after reading all the negative reviews I was expecting the worse. It was actually fairly decent for the price. Rooms were clean. The front desk attendant was pleasant and the location was perfect, right in koreatown where I wanted to be. I'm not sure what all the bad reviewers were expecting for the price but I did not see what […] the saw whatsoever. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"we treat americans like foriegners"
parking is a hassle due to the location, this hotel is in Koreatown, LA, If you're looking to eat asian food then you're in heaven. there was only one front desk clerk at 7pm, the room was suppose to have a microwave in it , I was told I needed to request one, so after calling the property , I requested extra pillows and the microwave, now once I checked […] in the person i spoke with is not working and there's a extra charge for the microwave, and no extra pillows in room, the ice machine on floor wasn't working and the ac was loud!! over all it was too pricey for just one night this wasn't a three star hotel Ramada is more of a motel than hotel....luckily it was just for a nite. I also decided to eat breakfast in the hotel restaurant the waitress never asked me how I wanted my egg brought me soupy oatmeal one slice of toast with unsalted frozen butter, what was suppose to be ham was spam and the hashbrowns were raw potato strings burned on the outside...to add insult to the already bad breakfast when given the check she added a two dollar tip to the bill, which I rightly scratched out! I didn't like my stay, AC seemed not to be working. The room had a weirded smell and the sheets were dirty so when we complained that night when we got there, they said we can change your room tomorrow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The size of the king suite and bathroom and tub were surprisingly large, the hotel is not super new and fancy but the staff was nice enough, especially at the attached restaurant. Edible food, at super reasonable prices. There was also a cafe called novel, i think, .2 miles away and delivered, where I could get a tofu scramble, important thing for a […] vegan in K-town surrounded by BBQ places. The first night we checked in my non-smoking room smelled like smoke but I was too tired to do anything but crash out. The next morning I left the windows open before leaving for the day and when I came back the room smelled fine. Super location if you want to be in K-town or near the Wiltern. The underground gated overnight parking was a nice perk. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"good for the price - great location!"
we were in a hurry to book a place, but this was unexpectedly good. the best is the location, very close to the biz places (offices) we needed to get to. 2nd, the staff were friendly and knowledgable. the surrounding of this hotel, unlike some other inner city area in LA, made us feel particularly safe. finally, if you happen to like, or wanna to try […] Korea foods, there are many nice places nearby. we are not Koreans, but still ventured in and enjoyed many new dishes. "Exactly what i was looking for."
i planned to go los angeles with some friends, and as you can imagine, finding a good hotel is critical. i went over 50 different hotel that trip advisor shows and i read the ratings, checked their addresses in google maps (to compare distances to attactions, etc) and i ended up with this hotel. the staff is pretty friendly, its in wilshire st that […] can take you from downtown to beverly hills, avoiding some traffic that you will find on i-101 and i-110 at certain hours. "not my favorite place"
We were under the impression at time of booking as stated on the Expedia website that there was a lounge and restaurant that is why we booked there ,, well the restaurant is only open for breakfast and there is no lounge .. otherwise rating may have been better bath tub looked a little sketchy due to the peeling paint in itGenuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent, affordable hotel"
Staff were friendly, sincere and very helpful; neighborhood very safe (in Koreatown) and 1 block from the subway so it saved us driving around LA when we went downtown and out to Hollywood Walk of the Stars /Chinese Gruman sp? theatre where the stars' handprints are in the sidewalk.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice Hotel in Koreatown"
It was good value for money. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, I was out all day and came back at night to sleep. Hotel has free Wi-Fi which s nice. The staff was very friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Room was very tired looking. WIFI signal very weak. TV reception fuzzy and just not good - very limited channel selection. A/C erratic. No in-room directory of services.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Clean room and good location"
Good location and locked underground parking. Closing to restaurants and shopping centers. Clean room and quite at night.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Better Than Most"
This isn't a too bad hotel, better than some of the places I stayed in. It's in Koreatown, but great as a centrally-located hotel for the LA/Santa Monica area. The room I had was like a suite because it had a separate area for the bed with a screen you could close and was pretty good sized (unlike the incredibly small studio I'm moving into). It really […] wasn't too bad, it was pretty clean. The carpet could have used a cleaning (I wore my beach sandals in the room). There were no bed bugs! Hurrah! The cleaning staff sure could have put more effort into wiping down doors, washing the bathroom floors, wiping down anything in general instead of standing around complaining in Spanish about their jobs. "convieniant location, brisk service"
Service was brisk, not quite rude but not far from it. Rooms were clean but run down, water damage stains, peeling wallpaper etc. The front desk staff was the worst part of our visit, when approaching the desk to check in we were told (in a rude manner) check in is not until 3.... it was 3:15 at the time, when the staff noticed this she did stop chatting […] up her co-workers and shoved us onto another person to be served. On the day of check out the front desk called the room 30 min before check out time to let us know check out was in 30 min.... which they might be used to doing since they gave no information during our check in.. not even the direction to go to get to our room. "Money well spent."
Great rooms, very clean. Located reasonably close to a good amount of places in Hollywood. The only problem we encountered was with towels. We never had enough and the staff never replaced them unless we called 5 or 6 times. Would definitely go back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice but eh"
Hello, my stay at this hotel was just nice nothing more or less. It is in the heart of Korea Town in LA and close to everything ie beach, hollywood, universal studios, with tons of little shops that stay open 24 hours. The good about this 1. near everything 2. very nice hotel staff 3. very cheap in price The bad about this 1. very old and run down 2. […] not as clean ie the rugs have a lot stains and very dusty 3. very old electronics in rooms 4. small rooms One other thing did happen on my stay the door stopped working it would not lock when leaving and it was very scary since anyone could just walk into our room we called the hotel staff and they came right away and took care of it but it was a little concerning as this must happen lot the doors not locking. Another thing also was the parking is in a super small garage and fills up quickly so the only other parking is in the BACK of the building and at night be careful there are some creepers out and around looking at cars and stuff. "Unprofessional & bad service"
We had only bad experience. We paid for 3 persons but always got only 2 sets of worn out towels during our 4 nights. We had a broken TV remote. When we asked for new one, they said "we are looking for it but can't find it"! We paid full but sadly we never got value for our money. "Convenienceof hotel location"
the condition and maintenance of the hotel was very bad! Reception was unhelpful and arrogantGenuine Hotels.com guest review
My experience at the Ramada Wilshire unfortunately wasn't the best I've had. I ended up having to change rooms a total of four times during my stay. This was a major en convince for me. The first time I had to change rooms was because I was told my room was ready and when I went to my room it wasn't cleaned yet. The next time I switched rooms was because […] I asked for a non smoking room and was put into a smoking room. Thee third time I switched rooms the carpet was soaking wet and the blow dryer wasn't working. And finally I was place into a suite which I stayed in for the rest of my stay. Overall I loved the city of la but having to switch rooms four times was a major en convince. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

I stayed here for a convention a little while ago. The hotel staff was very accommodating and prompt with whatever information I needed. I did like the proximity of the location to the convention center and the amount of noise I did hear was pretty minimal.Genuine Expedia guest review
The room was way overcharged. Room was dirty.. had ducktape holding bathroom mirror togrther. Bathtub had huge crack in it with a piece of tape covering it. Wifi was awful.. slow. This hotel has many issues. It is old and worn. Worn carpet, worn toilet seats, just overall rough condition. There are security concerns as well. One of the buildings has an elevator accessed from the garage area only. Anyone can wall off the street and take the elevator or staircase to the room. I ran into an indigent man in the stairwell. A women […] might have felt very threatened. Also, there are no shears on the windows, only the blackout curtains. The maid turned off my AC and opened the blinds letting the sun bake the room to about 85 degrees or more. Just what I want to come back to after a long day! Overall this place is a crapper. "Good rates/staff, great access to transportation."
We got a great deal on this hotel through Expedia for six nights stay during E3. The hotel isn't right in downtown, but was only one block away from the subway station which gave us quick access to the downtown core and in convention center. Hotel was pretty average overall, we didn't notice any bugs or mess that others seem to have complained about. […] I didn't notice any additional amenities but didn't look to hard. It was OK if you need to stay down town or in Korea town. Reasonably priced, Good free parking with no major downside.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a bargain. Free parking, decent rooms, great location, quite and comfortable all for less than $100 per night in Central LA. The internet wasn't great but if I worked with my laptop in the lobby it was fine. And at this price, I have nothing to complain about.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Korea town near USC"
Called day before arrival to confirm double bed non smoking as booked, they said only king available. Upon late arrival, only a king smoking left. The hallway smelled of smoke, the room didn't. Bed was good, room needed updating, bathroom big and spacious, coffee pot not cleaned. However, this was a suite room with a pull out sofa. 2nd day switched […] to a non smoking king suite room. This room was fully updated. The daily cleanliness could be better and the towel supply was inadequate. Some days towels, some days some or none. We were told they aren't place into the rooms until they are washed, indicating there wasn't enough supply to replenish the towels upon maid service. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Hotel needs maintenance"
The staff was friendly, the location was great for our purposes, but the hotel is in need of serious work. A light in our room flickered constantly when it was on. The switch for a part of it was removed so it looked like that was the fix. The sliding doors didn't slide, the furniture was worn.
