I needed a place that was reasonable, airport shuttle, close to airport and clean. The Days Inn had all of that. The shuttle was there in a timely manner- there was no waiting, very close to airport (maybe a 5 min ride), it was clean and given that it was so close to the airport the noise level was very quiet.

Only complaint was the noise of overflying jets. The hotel is right next to McGee-Tyson airport and the planes fly directly over the hotel. I'm talking 200 feet in altitude as they head in for landing. Bring ear plugs. The staff was very courteous. I left the charger for my iPhone behind. I discovered this after I returned home. The manager found the charger and mailed it to my house. Excellent view of the Great Smoky mountains from the room. Good place to stay if you're in town for a ball game. Very easy drive to Neyland Stadium.

The staff were extremly nice and helpful since we were not familiar with the area. The room was very clean and had plenty of room. We were there for the Auburn Tennessee game and were very suprised how quiet it was since the planes fly over the hotel. I will definatly stay here again...Thanks to the staff for making it such a wonderful weekend!

This hotel has been outstanding. Front desk was willing to work with me my entire stay, very friendly. My room was clean and you could tell they have done a lot of new renovations. Very quiet, I was very relaxed for my stay. The amount of pay channels they offer for free is more than I have seen in any hotel I've ever stayed in. The breakfast alone is worth coming here for, huge selection all cooked every morning. This was probably my favorite part. Overall I would strongly recommend this hotel for the price especially it is outstanding I would have paid double what I did to stay here.

The Alcoa Days Inn is a pleasant motel to stop in for a short stay. The staff and friendly and the room was comfortable enough. The only criticism was it was directly below the flight path for Knoxville Airport which meant low flying planes above, but the noise wasn't actually that disturbing.

The hotel was in a good location, but you did hear the plans over head, loud. The floors could have been cleaner, just wear flip-flops!!! Could have had more of the things you expect. Like conditner for the hair. Other then that, the pool was clean and a good hot breakfast!!!

If you are using TYS airport it is convenient and you can leave your car there for an extended period so it is cheaper than airport parking for trips of about 14 days or more. Other than that, it's a clean room with a bed. That's about it.

It was significantly overpriced for the quality of servioe offered. The room was dusty and the window curtains were falling off the rod with some fasteners missing. In addition, my stay was Saturday night after a football game and some of the rooms celebrated all night. I could not sleep from midnight on because of the noised and management did nothing to control the noise and party drinking. In summary, I would sleep in the car rather than stay there again.

Our hotel room was extremely hot, smelled musty and the toilet ran really slow and almost overflowed everytime used. We arrived really late and the room had no air on and never cooled off during the night. The carpet needed to be vaccuumed and the shower knobs were not easy to regulate the temperature of the water. Water was either too hot or too cold.

It was fairly cheap and could work for one night stay, if you are on your way and need to spend the night. The room had weird smell and shower curtains were moldy. It does need much more cleaning. As it is located very close to the airport, there are also airplanes landing and lots of noise.
