To much money for what it was. Was very hot in room when we got there didin't cool down until next day. Air conditioner was very loud and annoying. I didn't care for it at all thought people working there seemed ok. Nice enough anyway. Beds weren't that comfortable woud not recomemed it.

We chose this hotel because of its location. It is a little far from historic St Augustine by foot but close to fountain of youth. This cost us a premium not justified by the inside of the hotel. The room was filthy. The gentleman working was very nice but he couldn't do anything but give us a sheet to put on top of the spread and a blanket to put on top. The bedsheets has hairs in it, bathroom had whiskers in the sink and a broken womens polished nail on the floor, disgusting!! The hotel was perfectly located for what we came to Saint Augustine for. I would definitely stay there again. Even though the continental breakfast wasn't all that great. The rest of it makes up for it.

This hotel was completely filthy. The carpet had strange white stains on it, which we covered with our comforters so we could walk on the floor. The shower was so dangerous and gross. Apparently whoever installed the shower left a huge air bubble under the basin of the shower where you stand. So when I first stepped into the shower I almost fell because […] I wasn't expecting the basin of my shower to be soft and move. Staff was great! Room was nasty. Carpet was greasy and made my feet black after walking on it for 5 minutes. had to wash my feet, water turned black. Brown long hairs in the shower. towels were hard. Never again!

we had a problem with fire detector beeping. called office and within 10 minutes maintenance was there replacing battery. place was clean and bed very comfortable. staff was very helpful. very convenient in downtown st.augustine to get trolley.

This was an older quaint facility. It has all you need. It's clean and has been refurbished to the extent you can do with an older property. Everyone was friendly and helpful. We park the car and can walk anywhere in town to see the sights and is even on the tour train stop, so if we do get tired we can take the train back. The facility was old and a bit run down and had only a tiny sink in the bathroom with no counter space, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The location was great - easily accessible to the downtown area (we walked it although it was a bit of a walk), and very quick to get back on the road in the morning.

Charming motel setting in great location with a trolley stop in the parking lot at the historical tree. Fountain of Youth park and Old Jail are an easy walk. Continental breakfast was great with varieties of choices. The room was perfect, clean, and comfortable with fridge, microwave, and coffee maker. "Good job HoJo."

Not sure why this hotel has 3+ stars overall. Maybe we just got unlucky and got a poor room. The room was dirty, outdated, and the bathroom in horrible condition.
