Sonesta ES Suites Orlando - Orlando

For my 2 night stay I couldn't have asked for a better location. Great restaurants in the surrounding area and convenience to parks. The included buffet breakfast was superb and the hotel layout was nice and relaxing. The only negative was no room cleaning the 2nd day even though all we needed was fresh towels.

We were in town for a swim meet and this hotel is almost right next to the Orlando YMCA pool. We could very easily walk to the pool when needed, which was nice given that the Y's parking lot is not very big. The 2-bedroom suites have separate bedrooms with doors that close, so that made if nice for those that wanted to go to sleep earlier. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The cleanliness of the room was amazing. The location is perfect, surrounded by restaurants and close to the I4. The hotel is in the nicer part of international Drive, but is dated and in need of renovation. The hotel and rooms were clean and the buffet breakfast was good. Very disappointed! Glad that we only slept there. I had to put sheets over the living room furniture so that the children would be allowed to be on them. The were something that you would see at a thrift store! I won't be staying there again.

Nice sized suites at a fantastic price. Suites have rooms on opposite ends with living room and kitchen in the middle. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and service was great. The pool area was very clean. No complaints. Great for groups.

I feel like I was at home, very comfortable stay. The staff was gr8, the food was gr8. The only thing I would say they need to improve is upgrade to flat screen tvs, the rooms are so fancy and then you have old fashioned tvs...but overall I was very pleased I would definitely recommend this hotel!

My wife and myself stayed at the sonesta in Orlando for three nights. It was the best experience ever. we arrived very late and they had our room keys waiting for us. The breakfast was terrific, and there are lots of eating places within walking reach say from about 1 min-5 min honestly for under 12 bucks, I kid you not. I had no intention of any theme […] park whatsoever, as we just went to collect some laundry parts in Tampa. We really had no time to try the itrolley as we rented a car which was about $160.00 complete for 4 days and it only took about 35 bucks to refill. All and all my wife can't wait to return. Thank you sonesta this was our best Valentine's ever, even though a.a mess up our flights going and coming from Trinidad, you totally compensated us in your hospitality. The hotel is centrally located, however, it is in a desperate need for updating. The televisions were old, and reception varied from room to room. The suite did have a full kitchen, however, it was poorly stocked, and the appliances were at least 10 years old. The room had that musty smell, and the carpeting had seen better days. We stayed at the hotel for a weeklong family trip to the parks around New Year's 2013. Many of the reviews I had read before booking held true: The staff was pleasant and accommodating; the pool was fantastic for kids (it's well-lit, clean and well-heated at night, and our small children loved the novelty of swimming under a dark sky). The breakfast […] was good, with some healthy choices (plentiful fruit, etc.) as well as decadent items like waffles. The location worked well for us; easy access to I4 but not right ON I4, with restaurants within walking distance, and we had a wonderful morning at the mini-golf place across the street. It was relatively quiet at night (not a lot of 2 a.m. partying). The hotel is a little worn, but that's to be expected at this price level and the number of kids coming through. All that said, I gave this three stars rather than four because of the condition of the carpets in our room: They were filthy...so filthy that the bottoms of our sons' feet were black after walking on them for a few hours and some of our socks were beyond cleaning. This isn't about vacuuming -- housekeeping was diligent and did a nice job each day. This is about regular shampooing or replacement of the carpets! It's a shame that was the only thing to mar our trip-- but it was very noticeable and offputting. Read more

The suite had everything we're looking for like furnished kitchen, complimentary breakfast, WIFI etc....The so called shuttle service for the parks was quite disappointing though. Bunch of hotels and suites in the area seem to have signed up with a local bus services to pick up and drop guests at certain time of the day to local parks. The timing of the bus is also very inconvenient and most of the time we end up taking Taxi from/to the parks. I knew from reviews that the Sonesta was old and in need of updating and the reviews were absolutely correct. While having 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a living room/dining area as a "public area" to use while traveling with our adult daughter, the rooms were very small and the furniture old and sparse. It was, however clean and the staff was very friendly. […] We had our beds made, towels changed and our bathroom sink area cleaned each day. The coffee was replenished as needed, though we ran out of sugar one day. My husband went to the breakfast buffet and brought some to our room. We didn't eat the free breakfast as we had read it wasn't that great and we wanted to go elsewhere anyway. All in all, it was adequate and will undergo a complete renovation that is to begin in Jan. of 2013. We spoke to a couple of people who work for Sonesta and they said it will be very plush when the renovation is complete. I would like to go back and see it when it is finished! I would definitely go back to this hotel. We rented two bedroom suites. The apartment is very spacious and clean. The hotel staff made us feel at home. The location is great too. 10 minutes driving to sea world. And there are a lot of chain restaurants nearby.
