"Opéra neighborhood is a great location."
The location is excellent. Easy walk to Paris highlights. Transportation is easy, guidelines for the train from CDG airport on hotel website are accurate. It's a very walkable part of the city. My teenager and I always felt safe. We found a nice little cafe nearby for breakfast. The staff was very helpful and spoke English and French seamlessly.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good location and reasonable price. The staff is the best in London -- friendly, professional and not to stuffy.Genuine Expedia guest review
The staff was exceptional in trying to assist in every way they could. They would go out of their way to deliver assistance. I would definitely return to this same hotel and recommend it to others without any hesitation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Fabulous Opera location and view!"
We stayed at the Hotel Edouard 7 on our way back through Paris for a short 2 nights. The hotel is in a super location and central to many restaurants and sites. The room was tiny but completely efficient and comfortable. The internet worked well and our balcony offered a splendid view of Opera Garnier.Genuine Expedia guest review
The location is great, near subway. The room was clean and the staff was great.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel, amazing location"
Great customer service and check-in experience. Hotel Edouard 7 is an example of the resurgence of Parisian boutique hotels with the right management vision and an appropriate team to execute upon it. I would definitively return to this hotel. "Centrally located little gem"
We ended our trip in France with a stay at the Hotel Edouard 7. It was centrally located to all the things that we wanted to see/do for our last 2 days - a quick walk to the Opera, Louvre, Gardens, d'Orsay and some shopping. You could see the Opera and Montemarte from our balcony, which was pretty cool. The restaurant at the hotel was excellent and […] the staff very nice. The front desk personal when we checked in were also great and very helpful, printing off maps and giving general recommendations. The room itself was cozy - a bit psychedelic with it's bronzy-orange and purple wall paper. Beds were small but comfortable. Our room somehow had small ants in it - which the gentlemen at the front desk didn't care about when told. He just waved it off. One warning, there are no shops around that sell bottled water, so we had to rely on what we could get at the cafes or use from the minibar (what a rip off! 6€ for a small bottle!). Another negative, which I think is more Paris in general though, was that most everything was closed on Sunday. I would definitely stay at this hotel again though. Great location, mostly great staff, comfortable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Great hotel with a great location!"
I was so very pleased with Hotel Edouard 7 Opera. They are on top with 3 important things. Location, service and comfort. The staff was fantastic, they were very nice and helpful. A comfort as well since I know very little French. The location is perfect. One direction you can walk to the shopping district and Opera the other the Louvre and other famous […] landmarks. If you don't want to walk to get around, the metro station is right there. There is also a market nearby on the same street. As far as the room, very comfortable, possibly the best bed I have ever slept in. The bathroom was very modern with beautiful features. The room is small compared to American standards, but I understand this is expected in Paris. I had no trouble with the room size. I will certainly stay here again. "Great hotel close to everything"
We picked hotel edouard for our very first trip to Paris because of the location and the great reviews. Like everyone else, we had a wonderful stay. The staff were amazing, the room is chic and cozy. We'll definitely stay here againGenuine Expedia guest review
In the middle of the street between the Opera House and the Louvre. Great location! Friendly staff. Nice rooms. Stayed with my husband and 2 kids. Not always easy to find hotel rooms for 4 people.Genuine Expedia guest review
We enjoyed our time spent here, the staff was very helpful and room was very nice. The wifi was frustrating at times, would cut you off in the middle of something or at times was not availableGenuine Expedia guest review
Rooms were very small for the price. They were able to give 1/2 hour late check out. Location was central that would be about it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel staff was friendly and helpful in giving sightseeing, shopping, restraint and getting about ideas. Hope to return Again soon. Blaine from atlantaGenuine Expedia guest review
"Paris in May 2014"
First, the negatives: I paid for and was told that the room was "deluxe" but later suspected that it was a standard room based on its size and proximity to the elevator and storage room. I would hear the stopping and starting of the elevator at night which proved to be somewhat bothersome. The bathroom was spacious with inlaid white marble and separate […] toilet and shower stall. However, the sliding door to the bathroom faced the beds so it was impossible to go to the bathroom at night without waking up the other person. Also, the lighting system was weird -- you had to place the room key card in the slot to keep the lights on. Expedia.com stated the room was 396 square feet but it felt smaller than that. The positives: The hotel staff was superb! They accommodated us by speaking English. They never made us wait to ask questions and expertly provided maps and directions to every place we wanted to visit. They greeted us every time we left and returned to the hotel. They provided all necessary toiletries and cleaned the room appropriately. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Great hotel, great location"
Our room was small but comfortable and very clean and well cared for. The location is great and is within walking distance of several days of activities in Paris. The staff was multi-lingual and very friendly and helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Perfect location. Staff was wonderful...very helpful. The resturant was great. Loved it !!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Excellent central Location."
Right on the Opera Avenue, this hotel is on a central location. Breakfast was not included so we choose to eat at nearby cafes. It was converted from an old ost office, so it did not have a courtyard. We noticed that a lot of business clients were there. The reception staff was eager to guide us and answer our questions.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very nice hotel very close to a lot of attractions"
The hotel staff were very nice, welcoming and helpful. We especially thank Billy who helped us book the airport transfer and local restaurant. Other staff members were very helpful with directions. The rooms very very clean, very pretty, only it was very small but all in all a very pleasant experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"One excellent week"
I stayed at the Hotel Edouard 7 Paris Opera for one week. The staff is multilingual and unilaterally pleasant. The rooms are comfortable and remarkably quiet given that the hotel is on a major street. It is 3 blocks from the nearest metro stop (Opera). I did not use the restaurant, breakfast, or room service services so I cannot comment on that. There […] is an excellent macaron shop (Pierre Herme) immediately next to the hotel, which is a plus. "Lovely in every way"
Let's face it - Americans in particular can have unrealistic expectations about hotel accommodations when traveling to large urban cities where space is at a premium. Opening the door for the first time to a room can require a momentary paradigm shift. This isn't the case at Hotel Edouard. The room we reserved was spacious and quirkily beautiful, the […] bathroom full of every amenity one could want including a good shower (as well as a hand held spray option) and excellent water pressure. We were travelling with our tween and the room was already set up with a comfortable cot. It was quiet (never heard a peep from other rooms though the hotel was full) and the service was impeccable. The hotel staff were able to make reservations for us twice at restaurants known for difficult bookings and were generally pleasant and helpful. The location was perfect for us - an easy walk to many famous tourist destinations but also completely safe for explorations off the beaten path. Honestly, I can't think of anything I'd improve. The hotel staff are just exceptional. They made me feel home since I first stepped in, especially Denise! The room really well appointed. Wonderful king bed with a spectacular view of Opera Garnier. "great location for attractions and shopping"
my room was dark in terms of color and there were not enough lights; inadequate desk space for workGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient hotel - close to Metro and Louvre!"
The hotel was excellent - we stayed in a standard room, which was small but very comfortable. The Metro was right down the street, and a lot of attractions were simple to walk to. Our only "complaint" would be that the breakfast (not included with our package) was pricey at 28 euros per person.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great location, nice decor, great people"
Everything was great. There were a few things off - one of the lights in the room didn't work making it a pretty dim setting, the cleaning lady once almost walked in without waiting even a second after knocking, and room service charge on top of actual items ordered. But nobody and nothing is perfect so all in all we enjoyed our stay. Rooms are on the […] pricey side but the location is worth it and the size of the room we stayed in (superior deluxe I think) was quite comfortable. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"The hotel was exceptionally beautiful and tasteful"
The concierge and doorman went out of their way to suggest places to go and to give directions, etcetera the doorman got tacos for us quickly and even walked us across the street and around the corner to a bakery. I will stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel close to everything!"
Hotel was very nice and clean. Rooms are small but it is Europe. They did not have a coffee maker in room which was disappointing. City is expensive but well worth it!!! Had a great time!!!Genuine Expedia guest review
This was our first trip to Paris and weren't exactly sure where to stay. The staff was extremely helpful. There was always someone to help us with directions or recommending a good restaurant. The hotel is located 1 block away from the Opera Metro Station. That was one of the greatest things about it. It was so easy to get back to the hotel. Overall […] great experience. "Unique Boutique Hotel"
We've heard about tiny hotel rooms and rude staff. That was not our experience. We requested 2 adjoining rooms to accommodate our family of 5 (3 teens!). Not only was our request granted, but when one room wasn't quite ready at check in, the desk clerk hand delivered the second key to us personally. Staff was uniformly concerned that we were pleased […] with bed arrangement and attentive to all our requests. Room sizes were comfortable, but not palatial (it is central Paris, non?). Both had separate shower and WC rooms, a mini fridge, and a safe that fit our laptop. Our rooms were on the 6th floor, facing Av l'Opera. Stepping onto our quintessential Parisian balcony, we could spot Sacre Coeur in the distance. Street noise was not evident at all, though we did hear some mild bumps from the air shaft in the rear. We could see the hand of the hotel owner in the room decor - each room is individually 'dressed'. Lush fabric wall covering made the rooms feel quite plush while providing another effective barrier to sound transmission. Decor was contemporary without being cold - not cookie-cutter - this was a hotel where we KNEW we were in Paris. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Best option in Paris"
I've been to Paris several times in business and pleasure and that hotel was by far the best experience I ever had there. You could not be in a better location, close to the large shopping malls, the Opera, the Louvre and several restaurants. The Pyramids metro station is just one block away. Service is great and staff is very friendly, with multilingual […] capabilities. We were upgraded to a room with the view of the Opera, nice size and very clean, as well as quiet. We have not tried the restaurant, but it looked good. Well recommended! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Edouard from May 31, 2013 until June 5, 2013. Our room faced the Avenue L'Opera and had a balcony. The room had a slight odor and could have used a rug since the entire floor was cold and bare. Other than that, the stay was more than acceptable. The staff was very attentive and assisted us when trying to locate our […] lost luggage. I would highly recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner. The food was excellent. The hotel is in a great location and easily accessible to the main highlights of the City. We would stay again for the great service of the staff but would request a different type of room. "Nice hotel. Convenient to all."
Staff is friendly and helpful. Unusual weather conditions for late May. Room was overly warm, had to keep balcony doors open at night, therefore noisy because it is located on a very busy street.Genuine Expedia guest review
Very nice hotel in a very good location near the Opera . Lots of good restaurants within walking distance. Easy access to the rest of the city via Metro. The Concierges are terrific. Pleasant, helpful people. Of course, the hotel is pricy, like all decent hotels in Paris. Worth it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

The Edouard VII Hotel Opera is a cute boutique hotel in a great location. Staff are great and personable always willing to assist. It was right in the heart of the city. Great location! You can walk to the Opera house, the Louvre, place Vendome, etc. the room was cute and modern and really clean.
