While all rooms at this hotel are considered "cozy" even by the staff, the hotel's amenities, service and location, by far make up for the room size. I would highly recommend it. Located directly across from the Embarcadero, it makes for ease of shopping, eating, and ferry trips to Sausalito, all conveniently just across the street from the hotel. If you choose, ask for a room with a bay view that nicely overlooks the Oakland Bay Bridge and Harbor. All other San Francisco attractions are just a cable-car or bus ride away.

This is a great hotel to stay for a weekend in San Francisco. Location puts you within walking distance of the Ferry Building (great Sat. AM farmer's market), AT&T Park and trolley/cable car lines. There are also a few excellent restaurants and bars on the same block as the hotel. The hotel staff was very friendly and even remembered our names (not sure how they did that). The only complaint I have is that our room was quite small - barely fit the bed and furniture. With the bathroom door open, one couldn't walk to the other side of the room. If you don't generally spend a lot of time in the room then it's a great little hotel.

We arrived after 11 p.m. and checked in. I carried my bag up the 5 steps to the elevator (no problem). The bellman helped my wife with hers and I expected him to accompany us to our room. But nope. top of the stairs that's all. More humorous than anything. The rooms were beautiful the bed was comfortable. I had read that the rooms were small but they were not uncomfortably so. We didn't notice the large drawers under the bed until the second day. The staff was very helpful in recommending restaurants in the area. There are not a lot to choose from the Financial Dist on the weekend. The location was very good. Close to BART, Cable Cars, Street Cars and MUNI. I look forward to staying there again.

This hotel has a great location. The room I was in had a fabulous view of San Francisco Bay. The windows opened (big plus for me) but there were no screens on the windows, so flies flew in. The room was small---the bed takes up almost the entire space. The plus for me was I could lay in bed and see the fabulous view. The negative was that the bed was hard as a rock. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I did not eat at the on-site restaurant because the hotel is within walking distance of so many great places to eat. The trolley line is just a block away which takes you downtown or to Fisherman's Wharf.

We have stayed here before and love the area and also the hotel. Although, the rooms are small, they are well furnished and very comfortable. Parking is a great incentive.

I love the Embacadero and was excited to stay at the Harbor Court. But I was disappointed and will make the point to not recomnend it to others. Three basic reasons: 1. Parking was $40 a day. Rip off. 2. I had a 8 a.m. wake-up call after flying in late from NY; room service knocked on my door at 6:30 a.m. and when I asked why, they went "Oops, wrong room, sorry!" 3. When I went out the so-called back door that faces the Embacadero and the water around ten p.m. on Tuesday night, two homeless guys were sleeping on their steps and entrance area.

Small but functional and comfortable rooms. Location is walkable to most tourist areas or easy to take public transportation. Try for a room with the bay / Embarcadero view. Area has many high end resturants but try Perry's for reasonably priced drinks and solid food or walk over to the Ferry Building for options. Tayler's Refresher for a great lunch or Hog Island for oysters. On Sat. it's home to a huge farmer's market

The hotel was cozy but wasn't expecting the room to litterally be a few feet larger than the bed as though it was a spare room in a personal home. Customer service was great but it would be nice to have a change machine for the meters out front as most people don't carry that much change with them while traveling. All in all I would recommend this hotel as it was very clean and in a great location.

The rooms were very nice, very clean, the service was great, very convenient location for both in-city and out-of-city travel. The adjacent sushi restaurant was very good and had Chimay on tap - always a big plus! The only negative I can come up with is that the rooms were a pretty small. In my case, I was in for business for two nights and it was just me in the room, so it was totally fine. You might feel a bit cramped if you were a couple there for a week or so. Although small though, the rooms were very nice.

San Francisco has a great hotel in the Kimpton Harbor Court. It is in a central location, a few blocks from the Ferry Building, Bart, Cable Car, Street Car and Muni. The staff is professional and warm. The room we had on the courtyard was very quiet and smelled very nice. The housekeeping staff was on top of everything, our room was always cleaned to meet our schedule. Our bed was turned down every night with a chocolate, soft music and soft lights turned on. They met my allergy needs (no down or feathers) with excellent care and still kept the bed comfy and warm. Cozy fireplace, wine in the evening and cookies and milk for nighttime snack was especially nice. The hotel is pet friendly, so we were able to visit with other guest's dogs. We will stay there again.

The Harbor Court Hotel is conveniently located in financial district near the Ferry Building. The hotel's location is great for the Saturday morning Farmer's Market and is close to some of the best restaurants (within 1-2 blocks) in the city. The hotel welcomes dogs and offered a bed, food/water bowl, and anything else that we needed for our puppy. They have cookies and milk (even have soy milk!) at night which is a nice treat! The hotel is next to the YMCA (we did not have time to use) and guests can us it for free. The rooms are quiet, although very small. However, most rooms in San Francisco are usually small so it is not out of the ordinary. We have stayed at the Harbor Court Hotel twice and will definitely be back!
