Room was small but very comfortable and clean. Complimentary wine and beer from 6-7pm in the lobby was very nice; also coffee in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"quiet convenient location"
The hotel is very charming, clean and the staff was great. Only small detail is that the lobby does not have any restrooms and the two associated businesses that are used for this were both closed on the 9/1 holiday.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is the second Kimpton hotel we've stayed at and both times it was a nice experience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean, updated and comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed in a King Bay View room on the fourth floor, here are a couple things to keep in mind Cons: -YMCA is located on the first 3 floors, so if you're on the fourth floor (as we were), you will likely hear lots of dropped weights and treadmill noises. Upper floors should be fine. - Service was a little spotty- front desk offered to send up utensils […] to our room, which never arrived, and when I requested a reservation to the restaurant downstairs, we never heard back. Not a huge deal, but a little annoying. Pros: - Location and views of the Bay Bridge are amazing, take full advantage of the proximity of the Ferry building! - reasonably comfortable and clean rooms, although you're mostly paying for the location - appreciated the free coffee/tea in mornings, and wine reception/ cookies + milk in evenings - Convenient access to public transport Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Natalia's 19th birthday celebration"
We loved staying in the Penthouse suite; there are three in our family so having the extra bed made our stay much more comfortable. We enjoyed Ozumas for dinner and in the morning, we loved riding the bikes to see the bridge and the wharf. The hotel is very nice and we appreciate our stays at the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great rate, nice smallish room, excellent YMCA next door.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I went to San Francisco for business and stayed at Harbor Court as it was 3 blocks from my destination. The hotel was also close to restaurants and the bay. My Experience at Harbor Court was excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
An ideal location for all of a San Francisco experience. A five minute walk from the Ferry Building. You are at a hub of all the transportation you need to enjoy the entire city. The hotel is beautifully appointed and the staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating. The room was not big by any matter of means but very comfortable. The bed was awesome […] but the best part of the room was the bay view. It is definitely worth paying a little extra for a bay view. This is my new and only hotel destination in San Francisco from now on!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Small rooms, great locationGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small Room, But Very Comfortable"
Small room, but was one of the "cheaper" rooms. Originally was given a double bed with standing shower and was upgraded at no cost to a queen bed with shower & tub because of availability. Really comfortable bed, cozy room, large TV, big enough bathroom for both of us to get ready at the same time. Service was phenomenal. They really cared about us […] having a comfortable stay. Couldn't have better. We were upgraded to the top floor with bay and bridge views. Room was comfy. Easy walks to Bart, Ferry Building, and great restaurants. The hotel had the typically great Kimpton touch. Can't wait to go back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Romantic Weekend Complete with this hotel"
The view from the King room with ocean view was breathtaking. At night the Bay Bridge becomes the world's largest art instillation - and it is magical! There is little that compares with the laying in bed watching the light show. The hotel staff was great and the room was tiny but the view made up for everything.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very nice place in a great location"
The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was small but quiet and nicely appointed, and the location is ideal for access to lots of hot spots on this side of town. Loved the hosted wine happy hour included!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Nice classic hotel on the waterfront"
We enjoyed our stay. Yes the rooms are small but it is a historic hotel on the water. Very friendly staff and a great location for easy access to the Bart and ATT park. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely look at the harbor court for our new San Francisco getaway.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"nice place near ferry building"
it is typical Kimpton. small room but well done. great location. excellent staffGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We stayed here for the weekend, very nice rooms and service. Rooms are small in size but perfect for a place to crash after all day I. The city. You do have to pay 60 dollars to park your car, and the gym and pool listed is at the YMCA next door which is an additional fee. As far as service and cleanliness goes it was great! Would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Convenient location, great customer service, very tiny room, hard to do work in the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Noisy and over priced"
It was tough getting a reasonable priced hotel in SFO on my recent business trip, so spent nearly $400 for one night. I ended up in room near large roof top AC units and a special needs shower that came up to my chest. Major disappointment and will not be staying here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
Great location on Embarc and really great front desk staff. Rooms are small but pretty functional. The wine hour from 5 to 6 is nice and they have coffee in the morning. The view of the Bay Bridge is spectacular - spend the extra $$ for a room with a view. I would have preferred a little more space and a safe in the room. Also, breakfast is tough to […] find on the weekends particularly early for those on east coast time or who have booked early tours. There is room service at steep, bu normal for room service, prices or another hotel with a restaurant. Weekdays have more options with a deli and bakery nearby that are closed on weekends.. Bottom line, it isn't a 5 star hotel but it is nice and I would recommend it. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Small rooms but nicely appointed."
Hotel staff was terrific. The rooms were small but very nice and the bathroom was comfortable and spotless. We will definitely stay again. View rooms overlook the bay and bay bridge. If you plan on spending relaxing time in the room, it would be worth the upgradeGenuine Expedia guest review
"SF Giants getaway weekend"
Very convenient location 20 min walk to ballpark. Staff was great. Wine reception every evening was fun mingling with other folks there to go to the baseball game. Room was small but very clean and comfortable. Walking distance to all the attractions on the SF Warf.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, wonderful staff, lots of perks!"
The Harbor Court Hotel is a great boutique hotel. The complimentary wine hour, milk and cookies every evening, bicycle loaners, goldfish to keep you company in your room were all nice touches. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. It was like home away from home, which is really nice when you travel alot for business. I will definitely stay […] at this hotel every time I visit San Francisco. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
The management and staff are absolutely the greatest I have ever experienced. Most of them are locals that grew up in the area. They will and want to help in anyway they can to make your stay and experience the best it can be. The hotel itself is beautiful and modern on the inside. Plus it is right on the bay which makes it extremely easy to walk out […] the front door and into the mix that is San Francisco's famous Fisherman's Wharf. Most of the important Faries for San Francisco Bay are down the street from the hotel roughly an 1/8 mile away. Do you remember the eat at National Franchise Restaurants. Anything owned as a local Mom and Pop Restaurant for fine dining will be twice to four times the amount of money for less food just because it's a tourist destination. "I was expecting more...but was let down."
The place looks nice, but overall it's too pricy for what it is. Rooms are tiny! Room service was lousy, food was brought up cold. Don't bring too much luggage because the elevators small. I will say that rooms were very clean and cozy but I can get that at half the price point. Personally I would never go back and I have stayed at a lot of hotels.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Terrific view of the bridge light show!!! O M G"
I couldn't take my eyes off of the light show on the Bay Bridge!!! It is worth it to pay extra for the view with the lovely water shimmering in the night. The room itself is very small. They try to make up for it with a mirrored wall. I felt a little claustrophobic, though. The bed is one of the most comfortable I've slept on!! Hotel staff goes out […] of their way to please. Great experience all-around. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hosted Wine Reception Rocks!"
Overall, it was great. The service and location were terrific, but the room itself and the bathroom were tiny. Fortunately our plan was not to stick around the room, so it all worked out fine.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Hotel Staff"

"Lovely little hotel!"
Great place if you want to be on the bay. Small, but comfortable and clean rooms. Could use a bit of a furniture and wall paper refresh, but the uber friendly staff and location make it a winner in my book!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything went smoothly. Staff was very helpful. Wine reception in the evening, freshly baked cookies later in the evening and always two large pitchers of water, one with lemon, one with cucumber, near the front desk.Genuine Expedia guest review
For our purposes of going to AT&T park and hanging out near the water, the location was great. Right next to Ferry Building and easy access to BART and muni Metro. Rooms were definitely on the small side and dark. On the plus side, the rooms were clean. Highly convenient and appreciated that they provided charging hubs w/ USB ports and outlets. Service […] was great and they offer coffee in the morning, along with happy hour later in the evening and cookies at night. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Husbands 50th celebration"
The hotel was in a perfect location for our weekend events. The staff was extremely accommodating and even provided a champagne and special treat to help us celebrate his birthday. Our view was amazing. Would absolutely recommend this hotel and will stay there again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Converted YMCA and it shows."
Rooms are very small. No place to sit except on the bed. Expensive parking $60+/day. No restaurant. If all you want is a place to sleep, then this is the place. Hard to relax in room where there is nowhere to sit. Staff was very friendly.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great location; comfortable"
The Harbor Court Hotel is across the Embarcadero from Pier 19, a pedestrian pier, and in the Financial District. It's a 15-minute walk from the hotel to AT&T ball park, and a 5-minute walk to the Ferry Building. For a $30 upgrade, we got a harbor view room, which was roomier than most hotel rooms we've stayed in at San Francisco. We were treated to […] a view of Treasure Island and the Bay Bridge from our hotel window. The area was very quiet late at night and in the early morning hours. I can't recall any encounters with homeless people near the hotel. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at the restaurant next door, Perry's. As is the case with most San Francisco hotels, the valet parking was pricey. We paid $60 for one night's parking. The valets must be complimented, I must note, because they kept our car late that afternoon while we went to tour Alcatraz Island. They did not charge us any additional fees for that extra hour hour or two of parking. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. The staff was exceptionally friendly. This is a Kimpton hotel. The Wi-Fi connection was better than most San Francisco hotels in which we have stayed. We will stay here again. However, the cheapskate in me would like to find cheaper parking accommodations. "Second stay even better than the first"
This was my second time staying here and I wad just as pleased, if not more than the first time. We paid for an upgrade to a room with a view of the bay bridge and it was spectacular. I also awoke the next morning with a migraine and needed just a little more time to checkout and the front desk was very nice about it and didn't charge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not For Vacation"
This hotel was fine for a work jaunt but I would not recommend it to those on vacation, her is why: -Room size was an issue, so small it would have been tough for two people. -Great location -Bed was meh -Efficient breakfast room service -Nicely decorated room and lobbyGenuine Expedia guest review
"Customer Service = OUTSTANDING!!!"
Really enjoyed my stay at the Harbor Court Hotel. The hotel rooms are small and old, but have been very nicely updated and nicely decorated and very clean. The best things about the hotel are it's location, and the hotel staff. The staff are all young and very fun. Customer service was second to none. We missed the complimentary wine reception by 15 […] minutes and the staff had two glasses of wine delivered to our rooms!!! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Location is the key"
Great, helpful staff. Service was a 10. Hotel is the old YMCA, so rooms are very small. No bathroom in the lobby for pre/post check in use...you have to go next door to the current YMCA...not pleasant at all. No on-site restaurant; but many right next door. It's quaint, it's clean; but it's still an old "Y" and it feels like it. That said, you can't […] get a better location on the Embarcadero and SOMA area. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great hotel close to the Ferry Building and bay"
Hotel staff were all very friendly, went out of their way to help us book a tour. We forgot some items (tweezer and lint roller) and they sent complimentary ones up to our room. Free wine everyday from 5 - 6 pm and chocolate chip cookies each night. It was a great experience!Genuine Expedia guest review
Really nice staff, and as usual, the Kimpton does not disappoint. Location is unbeatable. Warm milk and cookies at night, wine at 5, free icy orange or cucumber water all day - what's not to like? Total value for the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Close walk to ATT Center, way better than Hyatt"
Little touches make all the difference: complimentary cucumber and lemon water, free coffee/tea in the mornings, milk and cookies at 9 pm. Rooms are not expansive, but well-appointed. I would definitely stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Room with a view"
Upgrade to a bay view if possible. Wonderful watching ships, sail boats, and ferries. Rooms are small as is bathroom but since you don't spend much time indoors, you can work around lack of space without much problem. Much quieter area than more touristy Fishermans Wharf.Genuine Expedia guest review
