This hotel looks right out onto Mt. St. Michelle and you have a perfect picture at all time. The servcie was excellent as was the food. To me it was worht every penny and the only hotel I would tell anyone to stay at if they are going there. To me it was an A plus !

The service here was wonderful, including speaking some English. Apartments were nice and pool/scenery were great. Good location close to wonderful tourist sites of Dordogne. Hotels.com didn't tell me I needed to bring sheets/towels however, so I was charged an additional 20 euros. You are also expected to clean the apartment before you leave.

Most of the staff were friendly enough, apart from the young waitress who embarrassed us in the restaurant by continually repeating French words and expecting us to eventually understand. We were clearly unable to speak much French and all she had to do was get an English speaking staff member who was close by. She probably didn't mean to cause offence […] but she did. As for the hotel room, it smelt damp and was way too hot, even with the air conditioning turned on full blast. Great location though but just a typical cheap old Ibis that needs tearing down and rebuilding. Read more

The Ibis is in a wonderful location for those visiting Perigueux as a tourist. It is very near the cathedral, the old quarter, the restaurants and the shops. Although the rooms were small they were clean and compact. My only complaint was with the bath room. Only two small, thin bath towels were provided for the two of us with no hand towels. The bath […] was very slippery and high, the shower being over the bath and no anti-slip mat was provided nor any hand-rails on the walls Other than that the hotel was fine, the breakfast was excellent and the Wifi really worked! The Ibis is situated on the river and about 3mins walk from the old town which is full of lovely cafes and restaurants, so full marks for location. It was fairly easy to find but its worth knowing that the car park is opposite the hotel by the quayside, down a sloping slip road which you don't necessarily spot from the road if you don't know its there.
