Excellent experience upon check-in to check-out except for neighbors above seemed to be training for a marathon at 1 in the morning and again at 5am. Both occasions for about 15 minutes seemed as though they were running back and forth the length of the room...continuously. As anyone who stays here, it is not an inexpensive hotel, yet it doesn't break the bank--just expected to have a peaceful nights sleep. Other than that the grounds are beautiful, the common areas are kept clean and decorated beautifully and the staff is very hospitable. If I return again, I would ask for a top level room.

Had a great and very relaxing stay. We ended up upgrading our room from our orginal because we want something bigger. I would suggest making sure the rooms are exactly why you want before booking as the pictures shown don't really show the rooms properly.

I stayed for 3 nights for business I had in the area. My entire toiletry kit was stolen from my room on the third day. The management did nothing to rectify my loss, the supervisor was rude and told me there was nothing they could do. I am absolutely horrified and disgusted that I was robbed at such a "nice" hotel.

The Langham waa absolutely beautiful, every part of it. So much to my disappointment climbing into bed thinking it would be like sleeping on a cloud. Instead the bed was lumpy, squeaky, & tbe feathers were popping out & sticking us all night. It's time for an upgrade Langham. If you do it the place will be perfect!!

Overall good experience. Stayed here as a Girl's Friend Staycation. Staff was nice. We got double basic room. Pretty nice, classy decor. Clean. Somewhat comfy beds (would be better Queen). Enjoyed the workout facilities, a yoga class, and the pool. Had a lawn view above the bar, so was a bit noisy and looking down, they need to clean the roof. We were near the elevator, so I could hear it constantly going up and down, bothered my sleep... if you can make sure you aren't too close to the elevator. Bad... our sink was clogged and either our outlet or the hairdryer didn't work. However, when we told them they compensated us $45.

The hotel is beautiful however, avoid getting a room in the Terrace Building. We were awake alot during the night due to the loud sound of people up and walking. The noise was horrible. The ceiling and or building is not very sound proof. Not a pleasant experience with what we paid for. Restaurants are very expensive.

Great stay. Detail oriented and great service. Our daughter was hungry when arriving and Royce staff is paying great attention to get her food first. The food was excellent. The room is clean and spacious facing a beautiful, well maintened ground. The beds are a little hard for us. Otherwise a great stay.

Stay was great! Service was excellent with the exception of the staff at the pool restaurant who seemed very disengage. I felt like they were being disciplined by being forced to work there.

I booked with this hotel because of its 5 stars rating and the good reviews. But our room was nothing related to 5 stars hotels. From the inside, you feel that the furniture and curtains needs updating and it took me like 5 mins to find an electric outlet. The view to the outside was horrible, just garbage cans and a ramp to the garage entrance, you will see and hear the recycling truck in the morning. The in room breakfast was nothing for the price paid.

Overall and excellent experience. I wasn't sure what exactly to expect but understanding that the property was previously a Ritz Carlton, thought it would be still very nice. I was very happy with the experience and felt it was comparable to any other 5 star property I've stayed at.

The best experience I've ever had!!!! I'm taking about from the maintenance of the hotel to quality of the staff. It's been a long time since I felt like I wasn't paying enough for anything. After staying at the Langham I felt like I found the deal of the century. Though it's a little bit of drive from my LA Office I just don't see myself staying anywhere again

Great place to stay. But maybe not so much with little children. I felt slight out of place with my kids being a little too noisy here. But it IS the most comfortable place to stay near Pasadena. Beds were amazing. Housekeeping was perfect.

Although I live in the Altadena/Pasadena area I had never been to the Huntington, The Ritz Carlton Huntington hotel. This was a last minute booking as my BF and I BOTH had a very tough work and "just life" week. I wanted to stay somewhere where we could get massages, room service and a beautiful setting; however I didn't want to have to travel far. The hotel was extremely busy with 2-3 different events; but my BF and didn't feel the effects of the hecticness which I greatly appreciated. Everyone who we encountered on the staff was EXTREMELY hospitable and just made our very brief stay pleasant. Because the hotel was busy our room wasn't ready so we were given a complimentary upgrade on a room that had an outdoor patio; which we LOVED!!!!!!!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay and it met our expectations which were based on the reviews we read. It was decorated for Christmas, so it was really in it's element as an older, but elegant hotel. Had a great cup of coffee free of charge while we waited for our car at valet. Was really surprised how good it was and they had real half and half!

Great hotel. The bed needs to be update. Need to offer better parking fee. Now is $27 a night. Being from Las Vegas. We are not so use to pay for parking.

We arrived about noon the day before Thanksgiving and our room was ready early. The Cobb salad on the Terrace was great for lunch, as was the char for dinner. In between had a drink at the Tap Room which was lovely and a walk around the beautiful grounds. The artwork, decor and furnishings of the hotel are exquisite. But the best thing was the service, from the valet to the bellman to every other employee we encountered, without exception each was amiable and attentive. This does not go unnoticed. Good old fashioned service that befits this wonderful landmark.

Wonderful stay - simply wonderful. Went with a room with Club Level access & was treated in the most gracious, caring manner. It is truly evident that attention to detail matters here as does the high expectation of service. We never felt rushed (at meals, front desk, or valet) but always welcome. Top notch all the way & would stay again in a heartbeat.

It's a great place - very pleasant. but they should upgrade their beds. At a luxury hotel like this, King or Queen size beds should be standard. Not just full size.
