"Parking is not free!!!"
If you have a lot of money, and don't have a frugal bone in your body, this is the place for you. Accomodations are really great. There are dozens of beautiful areas for interesting photo shots. Shuttle service is far from free! Not that the food there is not good, but the frugal will probably go across the street to CrackerBarrel. One of the largest […] shopping centers I've ever been in is right next door. Be sure to bring your walking shoes. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The Gaylord Opryland Resort was amazing. Beautiful grounds that you will just get loss in. Everyone was so friendly and willing to accommodate. Can say with confidence that it will not be my last trip there....Must Experience!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The pillows provided were not the greatest... Understand this is an area where you can't please everyone. There were 6 pillows provided for our king size bed, my suggestion would be to offer a mix of pillow qualities and use at least the standard size. Our pillows were really small and felt like they were just filled with cut-up foam pieces.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This was the second time staying at the Opryland Hotel and that's enough for me. Happy to have had the experience and it is an experience! It is a beautiful hotel, but it's HUGE and crowds everywhere...you wait for everything! Took 30 min just to get the car! I personally like to be closer to downtown Nashville.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Only complaint was that some of the restaurants were closed which limited dinner choices..Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Beautiful hotel/resort, but I would not stay here again. Signage is horrible. We couldn't find where to check in, where to park, getting around inside was difficult at times as everything looks the same. Never could find the pool, we could smell the chlorine but couldn't figure out how to get in. We wanted to either be in our room or off the property […] as it made us so frustrated that we consistently walked much further than was necessary. Better signage is needed! "Very Nice Hotel"
Hotel and service was great, but you need to disclose all fees, including resort fees and most of all about the parking fee of 21.00 per night to park your own car.....Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good overall with expensive add-on fees"
The restaurants were very high priced with very select menus's and the parking was very expensive considering how much the room cost is to start with, however the overall experience of the hotel/resort was very good.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The Opryland Gaylord is breathtakingly beautiful inside, notably the enormous atrium. The hotel is extremely large and many guests were finding navigating quite difficult. Amenities are not at arms length and the entrance is maze-like as well. Overall it's a great place to stay, room was clean, carpet could have looked better and cleaner for a 4 star! NOT very happy with price of this hotel. They have added charges that are simply silly. There is an $18 +tax daily for two bottle of warm cheap waters, Wi-Fi (which is supposed to be free),discounts at hotel amenities, transportation to airport, and mall around the corner but all other routes are at a cost. They then also charge for parking $21+tax […] a day on top of the $18, really, I don't understand why they charge for parking with the other fee. There is nothing around them, no where near down town and every thing around them offers free parking for their facilities. If they are going to do a daily charge like the $18 one it should include your parking not be in addition to! A lot of issues with room/stay: stained carpet, light from hallway, mold in bathroom, thin walls, missing bedding, over charged, given wrong room. The wall are paper thin. I would visit this Hotel but not to stay just to many other hotels in Nashville that are around the same price and nicer! My brother stayed at the Renaissance down town -cheaper than my room, cleaner, no added fees other than the expected $26 down town parking fee and way better view. There are many room at the Gaylord that has great views I was just NOT one of the lucky ones. I will go back every single time I visit Nashville.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The location is centrally located in Nashville, which makes it easy to get to and from other areas. The hotel is huge with plenty of restaurants, shops and activities. The rooms are very comfortable and the service was impeccable. The only short coming would be the windows. They were filthy inside and out!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"The place to stay in Nashville"
This hotel has everything--more than 6 indoor bars and restaurants to choose from, an indoor garden, conference halls, indoor AND outdoor pool, and a spa. I was more than satisfied with my stay. And the room was neat, clean and orderly. Only one minor complaint; housekeeping took a long time to make up my room the second day. But overall, it was go […] od. I have never stayed at a hotel where I felt so nickle and dimed for everything. They charge so many fees, an extra resort fee, a fee to take the shuttle, and I had to stand in line to check in for over an hour. I live north of Nashville and have spent many great nights in hotels downtown, but will never stay at Opryland again. I grant that the hotel […] is very pretty, but not worth it! "prices and hidden fees"
The Gaylord is a nice scenic hotel but the high prices for dinning, hidden fees along with high sales taxes is a burden on seniors and families......Over-priced... I found that it is better suited for conventions with big business picking up the tab....This was my second vacation stay there and probably last..........Also we had to change rooms due […] to construction drilling into steel beams and climbing out-side our sixth floor window at eleven o" clock at night....That's right......Eleven o"clock........ "A Happy Anniversary"
My wife and I stayed only one night, but once we arrived and saw how much the resort had to offer we didn't leave. We wandered, ate, drank, swam, and just enjoyed ourselves. What a lovely weekend.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was nice. Disappointed about a few things in room. We did not have any wash clothes and one of the main lights was out in the room. The things to do inside the hotel was fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

EnjoyableGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We spent 2 nights in the hotel for our honeymoon. All but 2 things were wonderful. The pool hours (which were not late enough) and the service fees for parking and to be able to use the pool and spa. All that should have been included in the price of the room but was not. The service fees and parking for 2 nights was about $92.00! Overall a beautiful […] hotel though. "5 star experience"
This was my second stay at Opryland Hotel and I was again pleased to have such a wonderful experience. Their prices are very reasonable. Everything is so clean and well appointed. You could spend days inside the hotel and have plenty to do. The staff is so very helpful, friendly and informative. I look forward to my next stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Such a beautiful place. We enjoyed the fountains and waterfalls along with all the plants. Our customer service was excellent. What an amazing and beautiful resort!! We had a wonderful time and really enjoyed all to see and do. We did have some very poor service at the Fuse though. "Beautiful Hotel with lots of fees and waiting."
This is a great place for a day trip not so much to stay. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was beautiful but not worth the money. And the wait was unbelievable... 30 mins for the valet to park our car ( $28+ tax a day for this service) 1 hr for room service 30 mins for towels at the pool.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Very nice hotel. Clean & the rooms were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Only downfall was how long it takes to park your car & register. There has to be a better way. Overall, I would stay there againGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Love the hotel but please improve the parking"
Loved the hotel atmosphere and convenience to the mall and Opry. Not pleased with the "Resort Fee" and the sky high Parking fees, especially when we had to park on the back lot after paying the high fees.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It wasn't easy to find our room. With the cost of the resort, there should be people other than at the desk to help guide people. It took 30 minutes approximately to find our room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"much needed rest"
Check in but very smooth and fast. We ate at Jack Daniel restaurant very good probably some of the best greens and potato salad I have ever eaten...The ribs were pretty good as well.My only concern was that it was raining really hard and there were puddles through out the hotel lobby.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Would normally not book this hotel but got a good deal with my free night on Hotel.com. We thought this would be a treat since we were going to Nashville and seeing the Grand Ole Opry. Our family had a wonderful time here at Gaylord Opryland this weekend. It was our first time and we were very satisfied. "Only if you attend the Opry"
The resort is good for two things - conferences and ease to the Opry. We did the latter. When you check in, be prepared to walk. We hiked about a mile to our room. Luckily I snooped around and found we were a country mile from the Resort Lobby but on top of what they call the Magnolia entry. No one at the front desk explained there was another entrance […] to the resort called the Magnolia. For that lack of courtesy, I'm rating the place low. Truly we walked with our luggage a half a mile to our room and we heard the stories from others. When we had a beer at the Irish pub we told everyone about the Magnolia even though it was right in front of them. We explained that we were getting our car and went to the Opry from there. If you are going to Nashville for all the other fun things to do like the Hermitage, explore Vanderbilt or downtown, this Resort should not necessarily be considered. The convenience of the restaurants does you no good - you want to eat BBQ at Poker Peg Leg, or Germantown Commissary (the latter is amazing!). So stay somewhere less expensive. On the other hand, the courtesy bus to the Opry was terrific. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

The hotel is absolutely beautiful but so massive that it is difficult to navigate. Rooms are adequate but nothing special. I will say that I had plenty of bathroom linens but the extra amenities were not there, i.e. mouthwash, shower cap, ect. Rooms were quiet. Hotel staff was GREAT - very friendly and very helpful. There are several shuttles that drop […] you around town and to and from the airport BUT they are not free. Minimum is a $20 round trip fair. "Bucket list. Nice visit. Very pricey."
Enjoyable overnight. This is a resort, so expect resort fees and resort prices. The room was very nice, but not over the top for the price. A lot of walking to get from point A to B. But, the interior gardens are magnificent. The boat ride is nit worth 9.50 for 1/4 mile. The pizza place was good, as was the Jack Daniels Saloon. Area by the pool needs […] constant attention. Many, many abandoned towels and food trays. It was so hot the pool water wasn't refreshing. All staff we encountered were fun and informative. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
