Stayed here for one overnight it was great. Good hotel good for a quick stopGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Extremely disappointed. There was a large group that took over the hotel (and parking lot) so that we couldn't eat breakfast and couldn't move our car. One of the buses had our car blocked. No warning this would happen and no offsetting charge for the room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great hotel, not so great mattress."
We stayed for an impromptu getaway to the snow and see some local attractions. Everything was excellent, especially the attentive, pleasant and friendly staff. The only negative was that our king bed was as hard as a rock and difficult to sleep on.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice place, very busy after the first snowfall of the yearGenuine Hotels.com guest review
We were in Flagstafff for a short overnight visit with friends. We didn't spend much time in the room which was comfortable and clean. For the price this was just an ok place to stay. I have stayed at the La Quinta and was pleased will probably will go there next time.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I was in a room that had an exterior entrance with no insulation around the door. (during the winter) you could see day light around the door.Genuine Expedia guest review
Older hotel, very cramped space, room doors open to outside.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Quite and neat place"
We had a two night stay at the hotel during Christmas holiday. Like the free breakfast at the hotel and free wifi. Hotel room is clean but the bathroom is very small. It's quite even the front door opens to the outdoor. Walking distance to the restaurants nearby very convenient for families.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
My stay was wonderful the gentleman at the front desk was very welcoming and showed great hospitality. The hotel was very nice clean rooms just a couple webs by the air conditioner. Other than that my boyfriend and I loved our stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
As usual the Marriott has never let me downGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Prepare yourself for a breakfast battle"
The hotel was good enough but the breakfast service was complete anarchy. Free breakfast between 6 and 10, sure, but good luck navigating the broom closet they use to stage what amounts to a daily feeding of hungry prisoners. If, judging by the note that is placed on the desk inside the room from hotel management acknowledging that it's going to be […] an absolute nightmare to navigate the morning meal because it's so "popular" (you've got to admire their attempt to try and weasel their way out) then why not refurbish, knock down a few walls, allow people who are actually there to EAT the breakfast to not have to shuttle away back to the room to eat like we've been banished from the mess hall because there was no place for anyone to sit at the table. The room was clean but bathroom is way too small and hotel is in need of updating. There should not be carpeting in the eating area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The hotel is old style. Very small bathroom and bedroom in comparison to newer hotel room lay outs. Also it's not included like newer hotels. You have to walk outside in the cold to get to breakfast.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Above average hotel in a great location"
I stayed here for 2 nights and was pretty pleased. Yes, the room is a bit on the tiny side, but it's not THAT small. Some of the negative comments on the beds almost led me to book another hotel, but there was nothing uncomfortable about my bed. It wasn't the softest in the world, but I had a good night's sleep both nights I was there. The hotel is […] in a great location, just a few minutes away from downtown and the freeway. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was above average- warm sausages, eggs, waffles, and your typical fruit, cereal, bagels, yogurt etc. My only complaints would be with the way the room was prepared for me. There were a few wrappers left out on a nightstand, and I could not find the TV remote until the morning I was checking out. It was stuffed down in the chair cushions, which says that not much time and effort was put into cleaning and prepping the room for the next guest. Their fitness center is rather small but they do have complimentary passes to a nearby gym. I typically only stay at hotels with fitness centers and since I didn't see any mention of the gym pass on their website, I wanted to include it in my review in case others do the same. Overall, the goods outweigh the bads with this hotel and I would not hesitate to stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great Price Great location"
Front staff was helpful and pleasant. Check in and check out was quick and easy. The breakfast was just ok. Some "hot" items but the location offers several other alternatives.Genuine Expedia guest review

I asked for a ground floor when I booked thru Hotels.com my daughter is disabled. When I checked in they said there wasn't any rooms available on the ground floor. He asked if I wanted a room near an elevator & I couldn't be any further from one. With that all said the hotel & staff was exceptional.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good value for price"
Staying in Flagstaff with another couple for Halloween weekend, stayed 2 nights. Rooms were clean and satisfactory for the price. Unfortunately too cold to use spa. Free breakfast was fresh and delicious addition. Front desk employees were very friendly, professional, and helpful. Would stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Hotel like a Motel"
Since we love to stay a Marriotts properties, I always tryed to book one of them, this one is more like a motel with outsides corridors, something I don like besides the rooms are so tiny and is dificult to move around, bathroom is worse, door hard to close if want some privacy, very clean of course as a Marriott propertie. Breakfast was ok, no one […] of the best but acceptable with enough food to start a day. We stay only a night on our way back home from a two week vacation a at Marriott Willow Ridge in Branson Missouri, so the diference was obvious. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Close to a lot of things we wanted to see."
There were many things we wanted to see in the Flagstaff area--the Riordan Mansion, Wupatki National Monument, etc.--and the Fairfield Inn gave us a good "home base". It was also nice that a Target was close by to the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
We took a trip for our anniversary and were looking for a fairly inexpensive hotel to stay at. This fit the bill, the price was fair so we booked it. Overall the experience wasn't terrible, the main complaints we have would be the beds were extremely uncomfortable (very hard), the WIFI would have to be reconnected every hour or so, and the TV channels […] would cut in and out. "Way over priced for what you get"
Small, worn out rooms, doors were to the outside and were drafty with noticeable light coming in from the outside. Way to expensive for what it is, does not deserve to have the Marriott Name on the place.Genuine Expedia guest review

"VERY TINY ROOM, OLD AND MUSTY"
It was a very unpleasant stay, VERY TINY room. We inspected the room . Tiny room, Tiny bathroom, it smells, dirty floors, and then we opened the fridge...O.M.G.! We find a vial tube of medicine in the fridge. So, my wife and I freaked out and asked the front desk that we need to changed rooms. At first they were hesitant, because we had booked it thru […] a third party (the girl that was helping us didn't know how to go about it). We told them, we didn't like the fact that we found this vial tube of meds in the fridge. We repeatedly told them that we have not touch anything in the room and we just want to check it out and we also told them that the room was VERY TINY. They replied, "All our Rooms are the SAME SIZE". We still insisted on changing rooms, plus we had told them for "the price we are paying, it was pretty steep, for a VERY TINY room." We know why the prices was so high in the area...because you're not too far from Grand Canyon or Las Vegas, so All hotels take advantage of that). They were right, all rooms are the "same size"...TINY! The room was VERY TINY alright... it was very hard to get around. Bathroom desperately needed attention (also VERY TINY) , specially the shower curtain, it was disgusting. It had molds & mildew. The towels were old thin and grayish color. Hair dryer, broken. Fridge...dirty. It was SMELLY, OLD AND VERY TINY. We will NOT ever go back Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Location-Room Was a Dump"
This motel is in a great location close to our daughter's school in Flagstaff but wouldn't stay here again, even if it was free. Bathroom/shower was tiny and worn down, dirty towels hanging from the shower when we checked in. Room looked like it hadn't been updated in a while, carpet was worn. Worse part were the beds. Mattresses were as hard as cement. […] If you're going to be in Flagstaff near NAU there are 5 or six other hotels/motels in the same area. Wouldn't stay here again. The room had very large, dark cabinets for the TV and fridge. The overall effect was if you were watching TV at the end of your bed. The TV didn't work when I tried to turn it on. Upon calling down to the desk they suggested I wiggle the wire in the back, as sometimes the cleaning crew disconnect it inadvertently. Good suggestion, it worked. Why not […] have your cleaning crew test the TV before they leave, rather than have me find and report an issue. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was overpriced for the service and comfort I expected from a Fairfield. The building seemed old or not as new as I expected. My room was quite small for a King bed. The bedding (pillows and sheets) were not of better quality as expected. On top of this, there was no hot water to shower in the morning as their broiler broke during the night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
good hotel, close to freeway and also to downtown flagstaff, ample parking and good breakfastGenuine Expedia guest review
The room was too tight for 4 adults. All the furniture was tightly packed. Carpet was soggy. Bathroom was virtually a part of the bedroom. NO noise issues except the neighbor's shower. Service was great except the short long haired lady at breakfast, very very unpleasant. For breakfast they had breads, pastries, individual milk and yogurt, instant oatmeal, […] fruits, frozen waffles, powder eggs, boiled eggs, sausages, and cereal. I wouldn't recommend it b/c of it's size and discomfort. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Older remodeled hotel, is nice, clean and staff was pleasant & professional. If there are any complaints to be made it is the overall room size and the inadequate available space for travelers during the hostels provided breakfast. Overall very pleasant experience, will definitely stay here again.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Very close to NAU"
We were attending an NAU campus tour and chose this hotel for its proximity to the school. There are several restaurants, gas stations, and retail stores all surrounding this hotel. The front desk staff member was very friendly and welcoming. She gave us the option to choose which floor we preferred to be on, which we don't believe any other hotel we've […] stayed at has ever given us. This particular hotel is the kind with the room doors on the outside of the hotel building (as opposed to interior hallways). The room style was ok, where the sink was "outside" of the toilet & tub/shower room. There was a fridge in the room, but we didn't need it. The beds were comfortable, but the small bedside table was crowded with a large lamp, telephone, and alarm clock. The breakfast room was tight, and the food selection were pretty limited. Sadly, their fresh fruit didn't taste very good. We may or may not stay here again. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
This is not a typical Marriott Fairfield property. It appears to be an old property which they tried to upgrade and rename, Rooms are very small, including the bathroom which is so tiny it is difficult to use. Personnel are pleasant and breakfast is the standard fare - so no surprise there. However given this is a Marriott and price being above average […] - I expected more. The hotel is situated on a busy street making entry difficult and one can only turn right upon exit even though downtown is to the left which causes one to have to u-turn on the busy street.Genuine Expedia guest review
