Went on a family vacation, we rented 3 rooms they was smelly carpet, dirty carpet, hairs in shower ,desk and table had cup stains on them, pool all chairs thrown around, and we even got charged for parking . Twice each to top it off, no hotel charges for parking , would never stay there again, ,

When we entered the hotal is was hot. We got our keys went up the ro the 9 floor.. I was holding a cake for a wedding the next day.. the key wouldn't open the door so my husband when down stair recieved another key it also didn't work.. it was so hot in the building that the cake started to melt.. finally maintaince came and said the locks battery was […] dead so we had to go back down stairs wait to be moved to another room and still having to hold the cake.... we ate moved room but as we walk into the room it was still hot and that was will the ac on high.. it was a horrible stay.. the breakfest was gross.. you couldn't use two toasters at once so whay was the use on putting both out there.. everything was Just gross... I will never recommend anybody to stay ay this hotel... check out was till 11 but we left at 9 so we could get out of the heat.. it was hotter in the building then it was hotside... also waiting to check out the front clerk was talking and laughing instead of paying attention to the person standing at the desk waiting for 10 minutes... it was no where near worth the price we paid!!!! It was a very unpleasent stay and I will never be going back.. and neither will me family and friends!! Read more

What a great location and it is clear that this hotel could be something really nice, but it was not. Walked in to the hotel and proceed to look for where to check in and I hear a voice telling me can I help you. It is coming from a tiny window that goes into the bakery. It was a temporary check-in counter. After at least 20 minutes of several employees […] trying got to complete my check-in I was able to make it to my room. I asked for a bay view. They agreed but the room they put me in looked into a very tall parking garage so I called the front desk. In 15 rings someone picked up. I asked about switching rooms and after 10 minutes on hold the guy came back and said it was $20 a night for a bay view. I refused on principle. I was going to let it go, but the remote on the TV didn’t have a back and the TV would not turn on, so I went the front desk. The manager put me in a different room. It did not face the bay, but you could see it and the remote worked. The room was not very clean. There was caulking and hair in tub, hair in tub. There is a great atrium with a bar, but the bar is empty and the atrium is empty. The hotel has a ghost town feel about it. We did see the occasional person on the elevator, but that was it. It was a strange experience. On the plus, the price for the area was great. I would possibly stay again. Read more

I know that this is no 5 star hotel and that is perfectly fine. I was pleasantly surprised at the online discount i found for a suite for my band (4 of us) using hotels.com . You cannot beat the location as it is 2 blocks from everything we needed to be around. The view was great, but the windows outside were a little sandy. What can you do? its a town […] on the coast. all good. I do wish they would just step it up on the WIFI. we couldn't get a signal from our 7th floor room. Strange smells, an emptiness feeling, and creepy old pictures in the all black elevators give you a spooky feeling in the beginning. Once you realize you won't be visited by paranormal roommates, you see that it is a great deal for the view and the access to great restaurants.

The hotel was old and had a wired smell to it not only in the hallway but in the rooms as well. The rooms were a good size but the condition was not good at all. this hotel feels like you are the only guest in there, is feels like you are in a horror movie, the elevators are creepy, the parking lot is horrible of how dangerous it is, the area is so poor that it looks really bad, the room was all really old, the restroom was stained, this hotel is about to go bankrupt, don't pick this hotel.

Very old and poorly maintained hotel. Very unprofessional staff, the front desk was not open the entire time. We had to check in and out at the coffee shop. Any rate you get add 6$ more because they charge for parking. Never received the iron or wake up call we requested. They charge 10$ more if you want maid service daily. I chose this hotel because it was located near the area I was going to be visiting and the price seemed fair. Next time I visit Corpus, I will stay further away from the bay area and just drive to where I need to go and pay less, OR pay more for something like the Omni downtown. Although the location was fine Your journey begins with a lobby that smelt old which you could deal with as long as the room didnt smell like that, and it didnt but the shower was yellow showing its old age, and the toliet was so close to the wall that i could hardley fit. The bedding was old as were the bedscompletely worn out. I was terribly uncomfortable […] both my husband and I woke up several times and did not get a restful sleep leaving us cramping the morning after. Instead of king we got 2 full doubles which did not meet our needs and we are a couple we needed one bed instead we only used one double which only added to our discomfort. The lady at the front desk was very rude, and we had to wait 30 min to an hr before she got our reservation keep in mind this is at 11pm so we were already tired and then made to wait. The front desk lady then sent us to another window where we waited longer to be serviced. Then we get up in the morning looking forward to waffles or something instead we had cold cereal with hair in it juice gross coffee and some pastries and not very good ones. I got this hotel at a discount and would have been even more upset if i had paid full price the whole night we ended up kicking ourselves for not staying at the more expensive hotel. Thank goodness we didnt have our children as it would have been a nightmare. I do not recommend this hotel in fact I wish I hadn't stayed there. Read more

Check in time is an estimation. Anywhere between 3 and 5,according who you speak to after your sent away and come back. The hotel lobby smells like pure Lysol. rude service! 1 hr wait! The lady & man at the front desk did not greet us or even much look at us while we were waiting. cops were called due to an underage drunk girl & her drunk boyfriend. The coffee downstairs was NASTY! No room service! Breakfast's last call is at 9 in the morning! I WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN!!

The hotel and the rooms are old and run down. Management claimed they renovated the room I stayed in, what the unrenovated rooms looks like i fear to know. The faucets in the sinks are misplaced and it makes it almost impossible to wash your face in them. The hotwater heater malfunctioned on the day of my arrival and I did not have hot water for the […] full 5 day stay. That may be OK in the middle of the summer but not in february. When I wanted a late check out, 3 pm instead of noon, the girl on duty wanted me to pay for an extra night and got aggressive and put on an attitude when I asked to speak with the supervisor. We've stayed here before -- last time in part of the hotel before the rooms were renovated. The difference, being in a renovated room was clear. Room felt nicer. Of course this is an older hotel, and they're working to bring it up. I booked a King bayview room and they checked me in (only after making me wait till 3) to a room with two double beds. You check in at the coffee shop because they don't want to hire a desk clerk. They charged my card for parking WITHOUT telling me!!. The toilets are way too close to the wall.
