"So so"
Take the subway stop before the pershing square.it is much better. The area before pershing square is much better.Generally the train station is convenient but downtown LA is scary. The hotel is quite well located.getting food, necessities are quite convenient.the hotel is quite nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Bad hotel"
Very strange. One of the stuff told us we can use free wifi, but on the last day we got a bill told us to pay near $300 for wifi. Though they canceled it finally, the Internet is awful. It is sooooooo slow and I could hardly open any website. But the restaurant in the hotel is fantastic, especially the desserts.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great Hotel just lacks the parking.."
My stay was outstanding!! The hotel itself was maintained well and had a 30's like feel to it similar to the Hotel Del Coronado. The staff was very friendly and eager to assist you in anyway they can. The only downfall to the location is parking...very limited and valet was $40/night...didn't drive my lambo that night so didn't really care for valet. "Close to ALL must-see Sights!"
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this historic, unbelievably beautiful hotel. The Christmas tree in the lobby was absolutely stunning. The staff was extremely courteous, personable, and helpful. WE LOVED IT and look to return soon.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Biltmore Blast!"
I had an amazing time at the Biltmore. The hotel is gorgeous and everyone is super friendly. Our room was beautiful although they were having technical difficulties with the locks. I wish the pool was open a little later but what can you do? There was slight confusion when it came to check out time but all in all it was a great way to spend my birthday. […] Also, the live jazz was amazing but the bar was a little pricey. I'd definitely recommend it, but only if you have money to burn! Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great for travelers who love history"
The condition of such an old, historic hotel like the Biltmore is amazing. Staff is everywhere at any given time of day without being intrusive. I really liked how they made it a point to remember you and call you Mr. or Ms. _____ whenever they saw you. My only gripe was that the closet in my room smelled like it hadn't been accessed in decades. Kinda […] musty, but that was changed by leaving the closet door open while I went out. Parking is pretty steep ($40/day), but valet service is very fast and friendly. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Lobby is beautiful…rooms are awful…"
When I checked in at the front desk I was excited because the hotel lobby was exceptionally charming. I couldn’t wait to get to my room to see what else the Biltmore had in store for me...once I found out, I was very disappointed. My bed was very uncomfortable; the hotel didn’t provide a comforter and it turns out a room can feel very awkward without […] a headboard. The shutters over the window were covered in dust and mold plus many of the slats were missing. The carpet was filthy, the bathroom was cramped, the water pressure in the shower felt like it was piercing through my body…all and all, I was not happy. Two of my colleagues had to change their rooms at check-in because their rooms were too gross. On a positive note, I will say the staff seemed moderately accommodating and the room itself was a nice size. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Beautiful hotel"
My husband and I stayed at the Biltmore for 6 nights. We were in town to see the American Music Awards. The lobby was very impressive and staff was always very helpful. Our room was nice but the bathroom was a little small, but this was to be expected with a hotel that was built in 1923. We never had a problem with noise considering this hotel is in […] the heart of Los Angeles. The best tip we received was if you have a car do not park in the hotel parking and pay $40.00 each night. Park your car in the Pershing Square parking across the street. It was $16.00. This garage had security day and night. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. "Oh yeah! We stayed at the BILTMORE!"
Growing up in L.A. both my wife and I have always considered the Biltmore to be one of the premier hotels from a golden age when people wore hats and dressed up to go to the theatre. Getting the opportunity to stay there after all these years was a thrill. We did worry that the reality would not live up to our expectations, but that was not the case. […] The building is magnificent, the staff is friendly, efficient and very helpful. The room itself was roomy, clean and well-appointed. Overall our experience was wonderful and I would recommend a stay at the Biltmore to everyone. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"shows its age"
Spacious room but needs renovations. The windows let in a lot of fresh air even when closed and my heat was not working so it was quite chilly the first night. I could hear every conversation in the hallway as well as the adjacent room. The location is close to the freeway and walking distance to restaurants and bars so was still a good value.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice hotel, but consider...."
Know before you book... The valet is $40 a night. Across the street is a parking lot w/ 24 hour security. They'll charge between $12-$20 a day depending on weekday/end. There's a $9.95 24 hour charge for wifi. Stick w/ your phone and social network from there. Check your tub stopper before you shower...it's an old buidling, but plumbing would do wonders. […] About 2-3 minutes into showering, I'm up to my ankles in water. Location is nice if you plan to visit downtown, Chinatown, Olvera St or Staples Center. All are w/in a mile (walking distance) from the hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Beautiful historic hotel, not so beautiful rooms"
This hotel is gorgeous - the lobby and ballrooms are stunning. However, the rooms leave much to be desired. When you turn on the AC, freezing cold air comes out, no matter where you set the temperature. When you turn on the heat, freezing cold air also comes out, no matter where you set the temperature. Service in the morning for breakfast if you are […] not getting the buffet is not so great. They pretty much forgot about me and despite my waves for a bill, I had to get up to get my own bill at the cashier. The hotel bar is great... I would recommend staying there as long as you can and drinking as much as possible so you can forget how outdated your room is. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great time was had by all !!"
Excellent staff and clean rooms. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Dissapointing"
The room itself was small and not what is expected of a hotel of this price. There were no extra towels. No room safe or mini bar. The dresser was beat up looking. Just not up to what I would expect from a high end hotel. Two phones in the room but only one worked. There was a fee for internet.Genuine Expedia guest review

Front desk could be friendlier. Rooms need improvement! Linens and beds are great but the bathroom is very small. Nowhere to put on makeup etc! "nice hotel in downtown Los Angeles"
Food is terribly expensive at the Biltmore. There are lots of tour groups. People smoke at the end of the driveway and you have no choice but to walk by to exit the hotel to the street.Genuine Expedia guest review
"beautiful yet a little broken!"
The hotel is beautiful and the service was great by everyone. However the water was gone for the greater part of a day, and on waking the next morning my bathroom was flooded from a leak in the bathroom pipes. Not ok!Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great Hotel, Unpleasant staff."
In short, me and my girlfriend loved the location its a few blocks from the metro, the hotel is historic and apparently would often host the likes of Marilyn Monroe. It has a very vintage, classic 50s feel to it, but the staff gave off the feeling as they'd rather be somewhere else doing something else. I rarely saw a smile from any of them, and the […] valet and bell hops were the worst. I wouldn't be surprised if the bell hops and valet were contracted from a 3rd company because they could care less what about the guest until they saw a tip. If I were running this place I'd leave everything in the hotel the same but give the staff a very big face lift and cut some fat. When I stayed in Seattle at the Pan Pacific, every employee from the valet to clean up lady looked like they loved to work there, but not at the Millennium Biltmore in LA! "Old and dirty with awful staff"
The staff were absolutely dreadful. No one acknowledged us any of the times we approached the front desk. They acted like we were an inconvenience. The hotel rooms are old and moldy and poorly maintained. My towels and shower curtain even smelled. The location was excellent but it didn't nearly compensate for the rest.Genuine Expedia guest review

"nice, but no free eggs for Jr."
A grand hotel right smack downtown LA. The pool was warm and awesome. A sauna and steam-room right next to it. The gym, great. What surprised me the most, given all the comforts and amenities to be found here, was how inconsiderate the property and management could be to all of its guests with kids - ages 1 to 18. We received a letter for a free continental […] breakfast at the Club Room - great! One less expense. When me, my wife and 7 year old enter the Club Room for breakfast, which is nothing extraordinary - juice, coffee, bread, an egg dish of some sort - they say my 7 year old can't eat here. Excuse me? Yes, hotel policy - NO Children can eat breakfast for free at the Club Room. I can take my son downstairs for breakfast to the other restaurant and pay $22 for one buffet. Are you serious? It's just breakfast. No one is drinking alcohol or conducting serious business at 7 am on a Sunday. I hope the Biltmore LA examines this clause and concludes its ridiculous nature and major inconvenience to its family guests. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
