Mill Houses is a tiny suites hotel with excellent staff. We we're impressed with the staffs eagerness to please their guests. Nenad ( Sean) recommended excellent resto for us to dine_in, arranged our rental car , etc. Sofia, the cleaning lady keeps our room clean early in the morning. The view is gorgeous...couldn't be better. The sunrises and sunsets were magnificent. The heater did not work well for the first two nights and so the room was cold at night. The Hotel Manager, Dimitri, is just terrific, and everyone was very solicitous giving us extra blankets, etc. The problem was fixed on the third day. My wife and I stayed at Mill Houses for 3 nights in early October 2012. We stayed in the Mill suite. The location was perfect for us, as we wanted to be outside of Thira, but close to the nightlife if we wanted it. The hotel is located 3 minutes walk from the road. The hotel doesn't have clear signage on the footpath, so be sure to contact the hotel […] prior to your arrival to arrange complimentary airport/port pick-up and drop off. This will also help greatly with the luggage situation, as the hotel is located 75 or so steps from the main walking path. However, once you are there, you'll fall in love with the hotel and its view of caldera. The hotel is very nicely decorated and offers a lot of charm. The service at the hotel is first rate, some of the best I've ever had. The front desk was very helpful in providing us with an intro to the room and island and was great with arranging dinner and ATV rentals. Everything was so seamless, we just dialed the front desk and everything we needed was there. When we asked for an ATV rental, the ATVs were dropped off 10 minutes later, 2 minutes to sign paperwork and we were off and running. Returning them was just as simple, we dropped off the keys at the front desk and they took care of everything else. Also, breakfast is served anywhere on the hotel premises at the time you specify. We ate our breakfast on our private balcony every morning. We just called when we woke up and within 30 minutes our breakfast was waiting for us. Read more

We had our choice of many accommodations on Santorini and luckily we chose Mill Houses. At a reasonable price we had a wonderful room, enjoyed breakfast every morning with a great selection served wherever we requested. We sat on our patio and viewed the magnificent Santorini sunsets. The staff, available 24 hours every day was accommodating with excellent fast service and always responded to inquiries with answers, directions, maps, bus, and recommendations (all good). We were met at the airport and (reluctantly for us) returned at the end of our stay. Our visit was greatly enhanced by the wonderful staff; Demitris in the office or close by, Venad, who assembled our breakfasts, and along with, Zak and Pilot, provided service, drinks and wine, while Sofia kept our room spotless. Stayed with my family end of March and got a great deal on the Junior suite (stay 3 nights get 4th night free). Free pick up from airport (and took us back when we left). Service we got from the minute we arrived to the minute we left was phenomenal. We were surprised that we were picked up from the airport because it was not mentioned when we booked the rooms. But it is of course a good surprise. The services were really good. We love how they serve the breakfast outside our room next to the pool with the best Santorini's view you can ever get. The rooms are interesting but it feels a bit stuffy […] in the toilets. Everything about the hotel and stay was wonderful. The photos of the hotel do not do it justice. The hotel is nestled into the side of the cliff and is straight out of the postcards. Every day you select what breakfast you wanted from a huge list of items (drinks, coffees, fresh fruits, eggs, sandwhiches, authentic Greek breakfast foods, snacks etc.) […] and they brought it to you.
