Furniture in room was falling apart. The desk was rotted out so bad the particle board was a jagged edge around the bottom and it was leaning against the wall as it could not support itself. The hotel looked pretty good on the internet, but once I drove into the parking lot, I new this hotel was not going to look anything like the pictures on the internet. The lady at the reception was not rude but she wasn't friendly either. The grounds were rundown and somewhat dirty. The lobby was old and the place didn't have a single vending machine. […] We checked in around 4:20 p.m. We were assigned a room on the second floor. My son and I walked all the way to the end of the hallway to find our room right next to a makeshift plastic cover/curtain covering he adjacent hallway. It was a little creepy. I don't know what was going on, maybe they were renovating. Who knows? We opened the room and the beds were unmade. The room had not been cleaned. My son and I headed back to the lobby and told the reception clerk that the room was dirty. She apologized and issued us a new room. The beds were made and the room had been cleaned. The phone in our room didn't work. There was no iron, ironing board or hair dryer in the room. It was a hassle having to go to the front desk to ask for them.
